btw Rider died in today's FSN ep

people are surprised by Shirou's 'cold' reaction towards the students suffering

It is kind of unusual how there's a discrepancy between his reaction in Fate and UBW to basically the same exact scenario.

I haven't watched since the second episode. Breakdancing Berserker kind of turned me off... but I guess I should catch up.

if you remeber correctly, there was an enfecies on Shirou not batting an eye at the sight of dead people, Rin even pointing it out that it seemed like it was normal for him. I think the biggest differance between the anime is that the first one tries to make the characters easier to understand, but by doing that maks them generic and boring(even annoying) while this anime just shows how they are, Shirou was never a normal person.

btw next ep Shirou strips Issei, best ep of existance incoming!

No no no. Don't blame it on the anime. I'm talking Fate route vs UBW. In the Fate route, Shirou gets very emotional and temperamental about it (maybe because he can directly attribute it to Shinji laughing right in front of it), whereas in UBW he reacts quite calmly to it all.

isnt in one Shinji present thus Shirou can direct his anger towards him and in the other there's no target for his anger?

That's what I just said.

Regardless, I guess people just misinterpret the UBW anime scene because there's no dialogue to explain Shirou's experience with death and such. It's not coldness; it's just desensitization.

Ohh. Well, yes, UBW Shirou is quite a bit different from Fate Shirou (which, unfortunately, is the one everyone seems to know).

I'd love to see people's reactions to HF Shirou.

people are also shocked by Rider's death, they are all throwing around all kinds of theories, but no one's guessed her killer right

mind you, fate route has people melting in front of their eyes, while UBW just has them all collapsed on the ground.

yeah, the scene was really well done. Kuzuki only showed up once which was that scene where Saber encountered him and told Shirou she was surprised by how his stance was so natural, more so than herself.

Rider's dead happened through Kuzuki's eyes, so nobody knows who killed her

illya, the anime was almost 8 years ago, most people who are watching the new anime come from FZ only

yeah, in UBW their pretty bad in one class. in fate, the skin was coming of their bones
