Well, get in her face. Make her look at the device. Talk to her, I don't care if they get a bit angry or frustrated with her. Just edging around the issue with subtle hints and hopful comments isn't gonna get them anywhere. Be direct.

She's never gonna open up or be helpful unless you can get a crack in that mind of hers and all the fixed thoughts she has. Make it clear to her that they're all in the same boat (no pun intended lol)

The ball will get rolling once she takes a closer look at the transmitter thingy. I mean she's not stupid and obviously not a total fanatic, she just needs a kickstart, so to speak.

Okay. I think Jax can do that. He's definitely going to start hypothesizing about why they crashed, and his first instinct is definitely going to be that someone was trying to silence Ehlana.

Yeah, I think aside from having her look at the device, the main thing is to just talk to her directly. You remember what happened when Rise just sat down and talked to her, right?

So, you can't really expect her to open up and talk when both of the other people present basically just told her "fix it".

Unfortunately not. I made the mistake of going into a book store... and I can never leave those without buying anything, so I'm reading my new books at the moment XD

I know and I do feel bad for Lisa. This probably wasn't how she thought things would go.

Well, it's not like Jax isn't doing all he can possibly do.

I know. I know that both Lisa and Jax are trying and that this isn't their favorite situation either. They have their own worries and fears and having to deal with an unhelpful, quiet person that they can't trust makes things even more complicated.

And I'm kinda sorry Ehlana is being so difficult, but it has to be at least a little realistic, even if we all know how this will end.

It will get better, I promise

Yeah, we had them on AC. I remember having to write the shortcodes for them because PSP was too lazy. XD

I wrote all the shortcodes on here. It does take a long time.

That's something that annoyed me back then. Leadership was assigned to friends, not people who were actually capable. It was such a clique.

It was sort of cliquish... : o

I feel like the biggest problem was the fact that the mods were given powers way too late.
A lot of them would have been able to do a much better job of managing their sections if they'd had mod powers months, or even years before.

For example, when I got mod rights, I was only really useful for another year or so because of real life. If I'd had them before that, I would have had all the time in the world to be effective.

A lot of the mods on AC were the same way, but they also never really un-modded people that had moved past their effectiveness.

I honestly don't think things have changed that much, except that things have slowed down over there : o But I still recognise most of the names of the Mods and Admins and some of the more active users and it's been what...3-4 years

Anyway, I feel for Alina she's really not having a good day : o
