He wouldn't be berserk, and he wouldn't become an idiot.
But he would be very emotional. So, things that trigger a strong response would prevent him from going back to normal.

So does he go through transformation like hulk? 

I mean, he wouldn't turn green...
But he would probably increase in size. Maybe gain about a foot in height and get really muscular?

Okay... I mean, I don't have a problem with it, but it doesn't strike me as particularly useful.

So, Payne, he would be transformed and still be using his Kaja strain spells as well? 

My character's overlimit (Luke's) is more like speeding up his casting and doubles its effect

It probably isn't particularly useful, but it will be fun to RP. XD

I think, once transformed, he would only use his strain if he absolutely had to.
It would be too much strain on his body to constantly use other spells while maintaining that sort of effect.

That's kinda the intention of the overlimit.
It's basically applying all the buffing Kaja spells to himself at the same time.

You basically have shield to protect yourself from injector or weapons automatically

Assuming he has time to react, that could be the case.
But I can definitely think of some situations where him hulking out would be a serious problem for bystanders.

Overlimit: Heat Riser - triples the caster's speed, agility, and offensive strength

I guess the difference is that Jax doesn't necessarily get roided up... although, he always looks like he's on steroids lol.

But jax's one wasn't shielding him, Payne's character sounds more like up in defense along with offense ability

Nex also has a point. Although Jax's overlimit is similar, this would also apply the shielding spell to himself only (not any allies).

In any case, such character would make the public to raise the question of how strain users are "harmless" to the society...

True. Jax's was all about hitting hard and fast. This one seems to be more about tanking it.

Yeah, he's essentially a walking tank at that point. I think he'll prefer to avoid being like that all the time though.

I'm also planning for Lisa to have a different weapon this time around. You know those metal balls you always see on a wire frame? The ones where you pull back the one on the end and once you let it go, they keep going? I'm thinking she'll have a few pockets full of those to use as projectiles.

Why would she throw around metal balls? I'm guessing she uses her Overlimit in some way to allow for her to fling them around repeatedly rather than one-time-use like the arrows?

Yeah, she would probably be using about six of them at a time, and they would shoot out to hit a target, then come back to her.

Ah, I see. Yes, I don't see why characters can't trade up weapons. Rise will still be using her fans though.
