everybody listens to me even though i rarely talk, from what i understand it's cause when i talk i'm aggressive and charismatic

Well yes. :0 In my group of friends back in he day, I always decided everything we did. Not cause I was democratically elected, but just cause I had the most charismatic and dominating personality. But the same thing makes it difficult for me to make friends easily. You either like me or hate me.

Well the "planning department" IS just a buncha' egoistic idiots. They abandon all plans the moment it doesn't go their way.

Everyone else usually bails or is busy so. The "planning department" includes a big egoistic idiot, and a big non-egoistic smarter idiot. What you'd call the "Alpha males" as Jorg put it.
