Well, they're clearly screwing with things.

Saber Lily was always an alternate Saber, not a younger Saber. I mean really, would someone trying to assert her place as a knight and king go around in a flowery white dress? The creators even said she was based on the idea of Caster fully taking control of Saber in the UBW route.

Proto isn't the same as Lily. But in any case, it was only ever described as borrowing from his more feral, tracker nature. Again, a different version. Ugh, FGO is bad enough for everything else, but I can't forgive its determination to retcon everything.

that wasnt the "creator" that was urobuchi and at the end of the day, he`s not the creator of Saber

heck, Urobuchi said his comment about Lily and all it did was sent Nasu into a comment about how Alter isnt evil(and she`s not, she`s just following orders and being as cold as possible to make people more likely to kill her and regret said act less)

I said the creator of Saber Lily, not the creator of Saber. I know the latter is Nasu, but I don't know who created Unlimited Codes and Lily. Could be Nasu, but he's not usually involved in side projects.

I know Alter isn't evil. It's subtle, but you can tell in her interactions with Shirou. A cold determinator isn't necessarily an evil person.

Still haven't started on Devil Summoner. Just got Mitsuo's dungeon unlocked in P4. It's taking a lot longer to get through than P3. Then again, I started that at max lv and used the Monad Depths for quick party leveling. P4 is, sadly, much grindier.

Yes, but you don't get that till basically the secret last dungeon. And as items don't carry over, only money, you can't use it on the next playthrough.

Yes? Hell, she was never canonical to begin with, really. But rewriting the intention and then trying to make it canonical is worse to me.

wow. You have no idea how extra artwork works.

Listen Illya. The way it works when it comes to artists, is that they make what you ask plus extras that they do in their free time during inspiration moments. Many artworks you see in games, stories, commercials and whatnot, are extras that ended up being better than the actual product. It's getting to the point where people ask for the extra to be auto-included in their demands.

Saber Lily was made by Takeushi in his free time, which was then re-used to sell more copies of Fate/Unlimited Codes and again re-used to advertise FGO.

I don't understand how you, someone who is trying to write a book, can say that it's worse to re-vamp an old idea to be more than what it was.

If the creator was okay with it, that's one thing. Taking something someone else made and repurposing it into something it wasn't meant to be is another.

Besides, we've alreadyseen younger versions of Arturia and Media, and they certainly weren't these Lily versions.
