it's funny because of the words chosen to describe it

describing as losing tracking of what's around you - then it's called focus

describing as being absorbed into the world - then it's called lunacy

it's a word that i understand the meaning, but that when you trully dissect it, it becomes a stupid word

There's a difference between focus and immersion. I can focus on scrubbing toilet, but I doubt I'm going to be immersed in it. Immersion requires enjoyment and fascination.

Similar, but immersion has more of a positive connotation to it. Focus is a pretty neutral term.

yes actually its more about doing or being in an environment that is comfortable to one. For you its the lounge when alone, for me, its the handheld/closed small/secluded comfort of my bed.

portability is also not the main issue, as I mostly find my self using the connected large monitor in my room, but mostly when I'm left alone, when in need to game r watch downloaded shows/movies/anime/ read manga, etc.

I liked Rider, but I think people kind of exaggerate how "awesome" he was.

Aside from killing Assassin and getting straight-up butchered by Gilgamesh, he did a whole lot of nothing for most of the story.

No? When did we jump from "awesomeness" to story? I like him because he was an interesting character and added some good material to the story. He wasn't my favorite Servant, but he and Waver were my favorite team.

However, awesomeness does tend to go hand in hand with action. And for the professed King of Conquerors, he didn't do much fighting. You could argue that was Waver's influence, but still. I feel like he hyped himself up, and then didn't live up to that expectation.

it's more like we are stubburn to death and have a very differant views and methods to talking. As such there are many misunderstandings between us.

as such when said misunderstandings happen, instead of clearing them up, we end up beating heads to try and 'prove' who the smartass is

Prisma or any other admin (Payne) should be able to do it. As it is a custom generated title (its at the location where people titles change, based on how may posts they have made.)

What? What's so strange about what I said? Forgive me for being a word-nerd, but to be awesome means to inspire awe. It's hard to inspire awe when you don't do anything, at least in the context of an action series like Fate.

I don't remember much about F/Z Rider. apart from him being a kind heartened soul, a father/mentor kind of figure and one who got a really cheap death against Gill after a huge build up to it :/ (that was extremely disappointing and not at all awesome.)   Sure his other features were good gestures on his part but I don't remember him standing out other than simply acting like a good nature king.

for example shadow. In this particular situation, illya cannot seem to understand that "to inspire awe" has nothing to do with action scenes. And I cannot help but laugh at it and not be bothered with explaining in detail and with examples.

as such as just poke fun at her comments without explaining. causing her to get annoyed because she's not getting a straight answer, thus causing me to poke more fun of the whole situation


I am trully a horrible human being.

what I got from her wordings is that she needs the characters to be awe inspiring in battle because the Anime / series is meant to be a Action genre and not a drama.
 
In that sense, I'm sure that she may have found berserker as an awesome character (cause of all its fight scenes).. I found Caster as an Awesome character cause I liked all the dark magic scenes (... well not really awesome but still cool)

I remember her saying that she disapproved off Shiro's stepfather (the alchemist) due to him being a bad role model kind of person.. or something like that. Where as I found his "action Scenes" and overall character to be a really good one. (I remember him as being a covert mastermind assassin)
