Dragon Riders Online OOC #1

Well, I am surprised with Ghosty's post...

This is going to be interesting

anything can be rebooted/rehashed/restarted/refreshed/etc but now the bigger problem is the amount of active role-players. 
I doubt Ryu and Spirit would return for an Anarchy comeback. 
As it is Spirit's activity dwindled (not sure if he posted yet or still making the excuse of Rin go first) and so did Silver. 
Rin tryed to hold on but laziness took over so she too seems to have quit. 
If only she and Silver posted before quitting, someone could have taken over GM'ing and moved the story into whatever direction, or at least concluded it.
 But from what I remember, things have been left hanging.

A reboot.. vague main faction outline is Fallen Angels, Demons, Fae(Latest Story) and others are trying to take over the partitioned sectors. There is a bigger plot brewing behind the scenes but the Player Chracters were being introduced, thrown into it little by little.

We all were going to converge into one place and the big picture would have been shown but alas its fallen into a slumber at a crucial point :/ 
Just a few more posts and my team would have created a huge explosion, potentially throwing the power balance into haywire. Everything would have escalated from there...  I can only blame myself for taking too long to post and Rin giving up before she posted :

Oh and a spoiler: My room is in darkness cause Cifujis likes dark environments. So his "dream" room stripped him off any windows and lights XD It's like his wish was twisted. And now he is staying in an underground Dungeon like place  
I think its just the room like that. There should be a door visible (once the room is brightened up with candles) and that would lead him outside to ... probably to some dark and damp alley way in the town. : D

Well, it would be a similar idea to that. Angels, demons, fae, and pagans vying for control while humans try to survive and figure out a way to get rid of them.

lol I had plans for a Colosseum which my team would have built, it would have been a cover for the demons to trap humans and take over their souls. In return I would get back leadership of Treasure Island. But I had a backup that would have actually trapped the demons as soon as they took over the human bodies.

Unfortunately the activation of one of my self protection spell right before signing the contract with the Demon Lord, threw him into suspicion and he sent his horde to kill my team. We narrowly escaped, hoping to regroup and attack him at a later time, but our escape portal got hijacked by another Power Balance holder. He blackmailed us into working for him. Gave us a vial that when planted in the right place could destroy another power holder (Evil Fae Queen's Forest). 

Leiv didn't know about my Colosseum plan before he threw me out of Treasure Island, that would have been fun but taken a considerable time to reach fruitfulness :?

yeah my character(s) were always getting into sticky situations (well other people were also getting the runt of it all.. I did join mid season. took me too long to create my final approved character.)

In my first joining (The RP's second book) somewhat near the end, I got possessed by an ancient evil and later managed to release a boss level Gorgon that Nex and Leiv's character ended up getting to battle while I was knocked out cold :/ 

Before that, I emptied my Lightning Storm summoning ability on one of Leiv's NPC Boss (the place where I got the cursed item). I took out the Boss with some combo help from Nex, but lost my powers at the end of the fight. 

Come to think of it, I didn't get that much group action as I joined the party late. I also didn't get to battle a Sea Dragon Boss... that was a little let down as I had already typed a huge post but just before I could post it, Leiv updated for everyone and in that the Serpent had long fled from the scene so I had scrap that Action (show offy) scene XD

I really wanted to get in the church action where Leiv's first character got possessed by a Fallen Angel because of Ryu's head-straight-in-hero-complex :/ That was a fun episode. almost everyone had a character over there. Ghost busting was involved too. (My first character submission was denied at that point and by the time I had my other character ready, saving Leiv was already too late.) So i entered alone but soon Nex and a few others arrived at the Treasure Island church for the Cursed Object retrieval arc.

getting cursed and losing my main powers disabled me from heading out to the final battle at the ship but instead Nex and I manged to witness first hand a crucial part unraveling in the Hidden, behind the scenes story that would be the core of the Book 3 (the current RP).

All in all I would say it was still fun times, even though I didn't get to do much, but what I did was big enough for me  
I'm sure you would have enjoyed playing ... at least would have been amused XD

Hmm, yeah, sounds like a lot of craziness. I think I would have pseudo-pandemonium, make it look chaotic while keeping things organized IC. Cause it seems like Leiv let you guys just run amok lol.

I believe it started off with humans (exorcists) chasing the monsters but then people started to get separated into smaller groups and werewolves and vampires came into play, so they had their clashes, but there was this main looming danger that everyone was running from. The instant killing fog. Everyone all over the map had to save themselves from it. It made the humans, werewolves and vampires form a temporary truce. They all came together at that church cause it had some sort of barrier that shielded them from the fog, for the night. But then the demons (and wizards allied to them) invaded and things escalated (Possession of Leiv's character) That made the teams split up again (in the morning) due to the church's destruction and some areas getting blocked off. 

People were all over the place but everywhere danger pressed onto them. No rest for too long for any one. What little some had on the Island.. Silver's psycho brothers characters took that away. Limbs were almost lost and that was all Player VS Player battles, Leiv had to intervene in the end to "save" the others from potentially getting killed :/

I think in his own way, Leiv and Darkest tried to keep it organized even in the chaos, at least at key moments, everyone would be together if not occupied at a sub key position.

By the way, illya, your dragon pic stopped working (for Samir)... If its possible could you link it to me?

You will see

It's no fun if you find these people easy, first step would be convincing your dragons to step outside and also they need to learn how to fly

Okay lol.

First chapter will be more focused on the interaction between your characters and their dragons, so it would have more of short posts of GM and players

lol I'll get back to thinking about the future once I get home. Currently at the office and work is piling up. I thought I had 3 more days but deadline is today/tonight.

If you find the picture that you were looking for then you can always change it / update it/ add it in later if wanted to.
I won't have any problems with that.


PS: I just noticed that Anarchy (& Jorg's) RP Threads have been thrown into the Landfill pile :0
Now there is no chance of any update (unless Leiv has admin/mod settings so he could update but Rin and Silver can't post anything :/

I wanted to change the font color for my Character Raven but that's when I noticed the thread was gone and the one in landfill can not be edited :?

Well, I threw them in there cause Jorg said he was dropping it, and Leiv clearly wasn't bothering anymore.

I started to build a character for it but still haven't completed his backstory
I was so in the mood... but then got called in for something and after that I just couldn't pick it up lost my chain of thought as well.
