big deal, he never forbids passing, although i`ll admit to dying twice cuz i wasnt paying attention to his rules....



i`ll leave that to you to find out. its literally the scene where Rin comes back.


what i`m more interested in is what Rin did to the third floor of illya`s castle.(not the actions that lead up to it, i get that, but the short term results and consequences)

Well yeah, but passing is a waste if you can buff/debuff without fear of Dekaja or Dekunda.

maybe, but you`ll still make it through the battle just fine...


its something of a noodle incident, Rin blew up an attempt at making a jewel sword, and the long term result is all the servants being around(supposedly), the happenings on locations are referred to a couple of times, but never anything specific, although supposedly Rin sacrificed Shirou to get through it.

i guess, Digital Devil Saga always makes me paranoid that the boss`ll cancel buff/debuffs if i use 2 of either.


kinda, if you wanna get technical,illya says the explosion could caused a world where all outcomes are possible(if you subscribe to the theory that if it would happen, they wouldnt be able to tell, then it most likely did happen), which also unfortunately means that Kotomine`s death is written in stone in the multiverse...

Foolish fool. This isn't DDS! Besides, forcing the opponent to waste turns on Dekaja or Dekunda if they have it isn't a bad strategy.

So why is Kotomine's death the only one written in stone?

cuz outside the extra minigames, kotomine makes no appearance and Shirou,presumable functioning as an author mouth-piece says that if there`s one certainty of this world is that Kotomine`s death

so everything`s possible+kotomine is dead regardless= Kotomine is death in the multi-verse by this point in time...

its not like im happy about it,but it seems to be the way it is.

Holy crap, I kicked Ahrima's butt sooooo badly.

I Tarukaja'd and Rakunda'd to max, then killed his first form in one turn. Then he brought it to phase two, and I killed him in two rounds. MC with Focus was dealing 2500 damage, and the others with Bright Might were dealing 1500 twice a round. Poor guy. He got off one Megidolaon.

I did play his game. He said no physical, so I buff/debuffed. Hs said no magic, so I beat the crap out of him with physicals.

I'm a bit more worried for Noah. My only real magic users are Trumpeter and Atropos. Both have Makakaja and variety ofelements, so that's good. But they ddon't have a lit of health (like mid 400s).MC just has Wind Cutter, and Lilith has Maziodyne. Her debuffs and healing should help though.

if you Tarunda him he should be manageable

also, Noah is still vulnerable to physical skills on the first turn, so you could try to deal some damage big damage then.

you`d only need 2-3 physical fighters if you use Power Charge...

I only have Focus on MC, Ongyo-Ki, and Flauros. But as it's only one turn to use physicals, I can't really take the time to Focus much. Better to get in Bright Might attacks for a few extra turns.

depends on your party, in my case, a Power Charge on the MC would deal more than any other demon could,so "wasting" that turn was worth it,but maybe you have better strategies...

Well yes, my MC deals the most damage with a Focused attack. And with a series of Bright Might attacks, I should be able to do both in one turn. Though with no chance to buff/debuff, I wouldn't expect more than a few hundred damage.

i still expect a focused phys,especially if you get lucky and deathbound double hits to deal more than any buffed magic attack you could pull of on the second turn,especially if you have to figure out what spell he`s vulnerable too...

and i dont know how much it`d help against Noah...

i mean, if you have pierce sure,he`ll take shittones of damage if you buff and debuff, but if you dont, his anti-almighty will just **** on you instead...

Against Noah... well, I can get Pierce once I got Metatron, I suppose. So that should take care of that. I probably won't try to rush through it anyway to give myself extra breathing space on the next run.
