well, i dont know if it matter, but nowadays most companies look for personality, since actual talent can be gained through experience. so long as your someone they can work with, you should have a good shot at it

Jorg's right. Personality is becoming a more and more crucial factor in the hiring process.

i would suggest in only showing the one they want to see first, and maybe show the rest after you showed that your important for their business

I bullshitted a 'teamwork!' and interested personality and bothered to smile all the time, so hopefully I did good.

I don't know though. They only asked 'can you tell me anything about yourself' and nothing else. I'm not sure if the interviewer wasn't used to her job, the more likely happenstance that I was disregarded from the start, or the incredibly small possibility that I nailed it from the start after asking about their company.

No matter what your personality, they only look at it after seeing you have good ability and experience, after all.

Usually they ask a behavioral question though. Like "Can you tell me about a time..." or ask about something on your resume. "So you're a member of ___? What did you do?"

Ugh. So doomed. I'm going to graduate university without a job to secure my future... I'm going to have to apply online and drive all over the country for interviews where they barely consider me... all the while working at a McDonalds to live off of minimum wage while sneaking expired food to live off of...

Actually, that's fairly standard. You should be worried if they don't ask you any questions and just rattle off about the company and position. That means they're not really interested and just fulfilling a quota.

Well, a follow-up email should really only thank the interviewer for their time and reiterate your interest. Asking questions might make it seem like you were unprepared for the interview.
