Well if it's a place for ghost then your character is either dead, or almost dying. (Since you don't have shamanic power like Chrys)

Your character is just unconscious, he won't able to pull such thing when he is just unconscious...

By the way Spirit, it's better your character doesn't join in Chrys journey... She won't be able to help you and your character's so called soul would be viewed by others souls in Fenix body/wherever they are as food. (Besides, your power is physical, thus, making yourself easier target)

I have a feeling Fenix became a 'place/thing'.... A place where hungry souls make themselves comfortable... Or became something that connects the two dimension....

That really makes me worried for Chrys... She might not even find the exit safely....

Not really, cause you can always make a new character with Leiv's revolving door policy. Though, methods like mine only work if the GM holds to the same standard. Can't exactly kick people for not posting if you don't post.

Personally I disagree, Leiv always runs open end rp's, to the point where we ran book 1 6 months over due to lack of raliroading, because we're very interested in the story the players want to write for their characters. Anarchy, when very active, ran the 2-day post limit but it was there mostly to stop characters from shooting out like machine gun fire trying to be awesome (this did nothing to discourage scape), but it did fill the graveyard.
Honestly, I think we should have handled the launch of book 2 differently, while it made sense to reign in the action to re-start the build up it lowered everyone's interest, even ours, especially as characters we were interested in npc'ing are busy being mysteriously offscreen. I personally recommend getting things going a bit more, though I loathe to wave around wall-busting ninjas every few posts, and this simply does not deal with the issue of one guy in a group not posting (as I often lack the motivation to bunny).
Still, its anarchy has always been a personal joy for me to both play and gm for, and a pleasure to take a part in regardless of time frame. I much prefer such settings as they tend to avoid player drama and are less full of posts created during times of interest/creativity lapse that post-or-die scenes implement.
But hey, thats my two cents.

Personally, I don't mind the slow pacing as long as I can count on the rp to eventually get updated, which I know it will : o

the thread can be used however, whenever and for whatever(in relation to the Tree) by my characters, right?
or is it supposed to act akin to the thread used in the story of the Minotaur's lair?(assuming there is an underground labyrinth that the characters have to go through to reach the Old-Tree)

Cause if it a simple forest. then there are non-humanly-possible ways to reach/locate the special-tree.

Also is the dark-forest a mobile type or a fixed one?

Currently I have yet to decide whether the team will stop over the tree or simply slow down when they get nearer to the general area.

Personally I planned to use maxwell's eyes once they get closer to the forest

Also a little convo between the three, explaining their actions of going through with the task was supposed to have been made in the current post but I forgot to add it in.
Looking back at it, it would sound more appropriate when they arrive near the forest or right before dropping the nuke

... You've been skipping Leiv's and my updates for some time now. Or you did read them all but didn't really get what was going on :0

Anyways. it depends on Leiv but if my calculations are correct (the trees attacking your group, being one of them) it would be highly probable that the forest the storms heading towards would be extremely close to your vicinity.

Though the epicenter would probably be away from the cemetery, Cause I would presume that the oldest tree (in a magical Forest) would be guarded by countless others all around it. (it is only a possibility. I could also consider the tree being underground. with a vast building masking/hiding its existence. Like hiding something in its most unlikely habitat.) But as the Witch of Thorns fiefdom is the {presidio, mikinnon stotsenberg battery} Then she's limited to her surrounding structures.

So if my team manages to drop the poison of sorts at the core of the Magical forest and if it will act like a wild-fire (literal fire or mass decay or even a frost nova. or even a Final Fantasy 9 scene of Stone Forest, etc) then it will take some time to reach the cemetery.

But only if Leiv's cemetery is close to the Witch of Thorn's fiefdom / Forest. If not then the trees attacking you were only due to the Witch's direct control or simply being near trees. Thus, your group would be safe if my group is heading quite further away if the cemetery is at a distant location.
