He(Exodia) was sucked in when he attempted to attack him(Prayer), due to him(Prayer) having extremely high levels of holy energy, and since he was just born, their souls became bound to one another.

This was because Exodia attacked the soul directly.

I'm surprised you didn't have to seal him in five different people.

I did, as apparently being a Leiv is very hard on electronics so its going to break. Seriously my luck with technology approaches anime level exaggeration.

I watched the show, liked it. My brother said that there were numerous changes from the books. I do have plans on reading them.... in the future
