Did you read about the new Exo-Planets that NASA just came across? 

7 Earth like planets, with 3 in the middle that could most likely(or definite;y) host life, depending on atmospherics properties. 

They will be able to know in depth information in the next 4 years as they launch their latest telescope in 2018 with the capabilities to detect atmospheric qualities of planets.

This Solar-System is about 40 Light Years away so will take quite the time to reach, once proper space travel machines are built.

So yeah, most likely not in our life time  But hopefully we can get closer looks / shots of the planet surfaces in the near future

I dunno. I don't see humans living in space. It just doesn't seem feasible. I mean, we can barely manage to keep society intact on earth.

most likely it will be the rich and privileged who go there first.

Or, if you go buy the TV-Series 100, it'll be the juvenile children who'll be sent out as lab rats of sorts to test the waters for the adults or something like that :/

I have my Supernatural rp, which you can join. :0 It's kind iof short mission-based rps, so it's easy to get into. You can read some in the IC.

Sure. :0 Like I said, it's easy to get into, and you don't even need to get involved in the loosely over-arching plot if you don't want to.

You basically join an organization that hunts various monsters, ghosts, witches, demons, etc and are sent on various jobs to figure out what creature you're dealing with and how to stop it.

are hunters superhuman or just regular humans with the right equipment?

Yes, it is. You don't have to have prior knowledge. I have helpful links up, and you can start as a new hunter learning the ropes.

Both. The majority are regular humans with the right equipment. Some are witches or psychics with extra powers and abilities.

One of my hunters is a telekinetic. The other is a normal human.

i imagine that it would be best to start as a human with the right euipment as someone who has no idea what the mechanic are? :0

Depends on what you're dealing with. Salt lines, rocksalt pellet guns, and iron weapons work on ghosts. Monsters and pagan gods usually require something specific like a bronze knife dipped in dog's blood or a stake made of cedar wood. Demons can be exorcised with the right words, but killing them requires powerful spells or heavenly weapons.

A good hunter will keep a whole load of equipment with them for any eventuality.

Yes, it's based on lores and legends, though there are some "conceptual weapons." There was a spear shown this season that killed people based on their level of corruption. Demons were destroyed instantly by it, but angels were rotted slowly and painfully.

I'm up for customization, so I don't mind people coming up with unique items and artifacts like a knife with the sigils that can kill ghosts or an amulet that binds demons, etc

i would have thought that angels would be unaffected by a spear that kills based on corruption :0

hmmmm, i wasd thinking of prostetics, but that would be too technologically advanced. hmmmmm, and you said a spear? so old weapons are included? (i looked at the character sheets and saw mostly fire-arms)

Well, the angels in this universe aren't perfect. The one thst was stabbed was sort of a renegade too, so I don't know how it would have done against someone aligned with Heaven. Angels are more pure than demons though, obviously, which is why it took much longer.

You can have prosthetics, but they would have to be to current technological standards. I wouldn't mind an amputee with a prosthetic arm made of iron to punch ghosts lol. And a mix of weapons are used. The more ancient the creature, the more ancient the weapon you usually want. Guns are fine for ghouls and werewolves, but they won't stop a pagan god or a demon. You're better off with a runic knife.

Yes, actually. Bullets have been inscribed with symbols to bind demons in their vessels or kill witches by backfiring their magic. You can use different runes and sigils for different effect, if you like.

Crowley, the current king of hell on the show, actually melted angel blades into bullets so he could shoot angels. Pretty ingenious.

what happened to lucifer?:0

He was trapped in a cage called Lucifer's Cage bound with 66 seals after being thrown out of Heaven. He was released at the end of season 4, but was locked back in at the end of season 5. Crowley, the King of the Crossroads (demon deals), took control in the power vacuum. He was actually released again in season 11, but he's currently Crowley's captive now in season 12.

The rp takes place in an alternate continuity, however.

He's not God's equal. He's technically weaker than Michael, though still one of the most powerful beings in the series. The Darkness is God's equal, his sister and opposite.
