That's where it gets tricky. I think Jax will relay it to Alina and see what she thinks. Including Raidon keeps it from being too secretive, but it might also be safer to keep Serena from hearing of it.

I just realized... if Alina and Jax keep Raidon out of the loop and Lisa calls Arya to tell her that she is on a secret mission (or whatever she says) that means she can't talk to Raidon about her worries and if she does he will realize that Alina and Jax might be keeping something from him since he is smart

Well, the Redcape incident is stressful enough, but Alex's disappearance is compounding the issue. For Rise, who would like nothing more than a peaceful life and to wash away the damage that the Legion incident did to her and everyone she cares about, someone showing up and asking to tag along like it's a field trip is insulting.

It's not about Luke being selfish. Rise is just worried that something has gone wrong with Alex. And with her strongly tying his fragile mental state to the Legion revolt and now this, Marcus' naïveté about what these things cost people really rubbed her the wrong way.
