| Unfortunately, the lowest common denominator in society will always be the most influential. And the lowest common denominator in most of the world has as much base intelligence as mice. So no, I don't really have high hopes, especially as social media continues to promote group think and mob mentality. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~ | |

| But would you ally with Tasha, Khull, and Morgan? And who's version do you feel most? Tasha's optimistic "rise from the ashes" version, Khull's "we're going to all die out, but finally know our true limits" or Morgan's "grab all the power you can and become a queen"? _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~ | |

| unlikely. Would you ally random strangers that want to cause the end of the world? I will assume that the answer is no.
most of the time, realistically, those type of people only get allies out of either friends or collegues. and in that case I could see myself allieing with either Morgan or Tasha.
Khull's is stupid and shows the lack of inteligence. there's no point in destroying yourself for knowledge since that knowledge will die with you. |

| Would you believe I was watching Pinky and the Brain this weekend? Lol.
Actually, Khull is the realist to Tasha's idealist and Morgan's opportunist. In a world of survival of the fittest, Khull believes that eventually the conditions will probably be too difficult for anyone to survive indefinitely. But because people only know their true limits and potential in times of struggle, this sort of environment is truly a "pure world." No peace means no stagnation, and to Khull, stagnation is the death of the mind and spirit (which is worse to him than death of the body). _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~

| that's not his place to decide.
it's one thing to be like Tasha who want's to improve the world and is though enough to understand that the answer is not pretty. Or Morgan's selfishness and just wants to rule the world.
But Khull's desire to bring ruin to humanity because he thinks that's best, is the most monoric of the two. The other two at least have some human aspects in them. |

| *shrug* It's in perspective. You're right that Khull doesn't care about humanity. It's about self-realization.
I just think it's interesting to see different takes on the same philosophy. Take monopolies, for instance. Tasha would be against anti-trust laws and be for monopolies. If someone is the best and makes the best product, they should be allowed to reign without restriction. Khull, on the other hand, would hate to have a monopoly because just making money is pointless to him. The restrictions of anti-trust laws always force him to be at the top of his game if he wants to prove himself the best.
Or in another way, take a pie-making contest. Khull would be more focused on the way in which the pie is made - ingredients, technique, recipe, etc. Tasha would be more concerned with the end product, simply whether it was best or not. And Morgan... well, all she would care about is getting the biggest slice lol. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~

| that doesnt even make sense.
it should be the other way around. Khull should be in favor of Monopolis because that's the very definition of survival of the fittest. One supreme ruling over the all the weak.
Tasha should be against that. Because Monopolis is also the biggest causer of stagnation and the biggest problem with current modern society. |

| Current society doesn't have monopolies. And restrictions allowing "weak" competitors to stay in the game is something Tasha doesn't tolerate.
You're right that breaking all other competition and forming a monopoly would prove survival of the fittest, but at that point Khull would have peaked. Therefore, continued competition keeps him challenged. If he were to utterly ruin all competitors for good, then he would have to find another challenge to overcome (which is part of the reason why he got into magic in the first place).
The key difference between them is that Tasha is more concerned with the ends, while Khull is more about the means. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~

| Okay, you see him smiling when he dowses himself. So he knows what he's doing and is well aware of the results... so my question is.. Why the heck does he have a face once he starts to burn. He should have been smiling as he burned away | |

| I don't buy it. If he wasn't immune, he wouldn't have gone and dowsed his entire body and lit it up. ... while smiling | |

Dowsing his body wouldn't hurt, and he probably wanted to commit suicide, but there's no way he could know how painful it would be.

| ofcourse he should have known. If he was going to that extreme. He should have already tested it on a smaller scale You don't just go and do something that big without knowing what to expect.. I mean I don't have an issue with him doing what he did. but he smiled before doing it. He should have had a serious face or solemn face and then have a more serious face as he got burt to ashes. I know I would have died smiling if I was in that situation (maybe a maniacal smile but smiling for sure) http://lbc9.net/movies-and-tv/movie/dark-knight/the-joker-batman-dark-knight-fire.jpg | |
