that and probably my defensive side. Let's say it like this. people tend to want what they don't have in their life.

I have enough life in my life. I want fantasy, the moment that there's an instant disconnection from reality, I'm hooked. That means that real life stuff, does not cause an instant disconnection.

Jorg, plenty of tv shows have fantasy. Supernatural and Constantine are about dealing with demons, angels, monsters, and other supernatural entities. Once Upon a Time is about fairy tale characters in our world.

SO WHAT. Just because one's animated and one isn't, that doesn't make it real life. Constantine is as realistic as Fate. Both take place in our world but have a secret side to them. All that's different is the medium in which it's presented. Constantine was even a comic originally. Supernatural's first season was made into an anime.

no one is saying to it makes it real life. However, one is done in real life, while the other one is not.

Whatever. If you want to impose non-sensical restrictions on yourself and miss out on great things, that's your problem.

You are, because you know it makes no sense. Realism and reality aren't about the medium. They're about what's being portrayed. There are video games and anime more grounded in realism than some tv shows.

Animations have Real Life voice actors  That sound is real, it's by these Real People, not computer generated (like Vocaloid)

Modern Animations (in game and movie CGI) are also going into 3D Motion tracking ( https://www.xsens.com/products/xsens-mvn/ ) so that can also be considered Real Life/People.

We can't escape real life anymore. It's injected itself in every nook and cranny :/

The only way, is to go back to old cartoons like classic tom and jerry, Popeye The Sailor Man, Voltron, etc.

wow (facepalm) it's like talking with walls, they just don't listen. I don't like real people. Do I see real people in animation? No, then why would I care if there's real people behind it if I can't see them?!

ah had a feeling but wasn't fully sure of what you meant by watching real people life :/ (I took "watching" as a general term. Like watching tv. My bad)

Basically, if humans are displayed on tv, acting or honest(documentaries, news, etc) then that's something you would avoid but otherwise as to how they are used or portrayed, it's fine.
It's cool then. All the power to you man.

My grandfather enjoys documentaries on Horses. He even owns a horse ranch where some are even trained for racing :/

Even real life actors performing real life plots ISNT real life. Geez, guys. Unless it's a documentary or news program, anything you see through a technological medium is not reality.

I understand not liking people you have to deal with. I don't really care much for people in general. But characters on tv aren't real people, even if they're played by real people. So I don't get the problem. Obviously, I never will, so we might as well just drop it.
