So, Gedo, this is going to take place after Dean and Sam's hunting days, with the Men of Letters reinstated.

Do you think I should divert from canon at some future point, or... I was wondering if I should make it split during the Trials and have Sam actually close the Gates of Hell.

Btw, I think the main storyline of "season 1" will be around the Van Helsings.

Alternate timeline would be good, but I guess following the canon won't be too bad since a large part of the show is more small-scale. So maybe we'll hear stuff like 'the winchesters resureccted Satan, oh joy' and stuff.

Or maybe from with Sam closing hell and Dean closing heaven, both dying in the process.
Then future plot points can be those seals breaking or having sideffects or etc.

Also I was thinking a Valkyrie would make a good plot arc alongside Reapers. Or maybe they could serve as reapers that people can actually see while they're still alive. So basically 'You'd make a good warrior in the afterlife. Problem is, you're still alive. I can fix that.'

I think heaven should stay open, but at a state of peace. Given all the turmoil, they've finally calmed down and decided to only interfere with humanity if directly invited to do so (through prayers).

Dean at least would have to live to revitalize the Men of Letters. Whether Sam does as well depends on if we divert from canon post season 10 or from the season 8 finale.

I agree that reopening Hell could be a potential plotline. I think whatever demons were already on earth would have stayed there.

Yes. :0 Actually, it might be interesting to have "types" of vampires. The ones Sam and Dean encountered in America were a more modern, commonplace type that didn't have as much power. But ones from eastern Europe are more ancient and powerful.

I'd be interested in new types of lore to explore. Valkyries could be interesting choices.

Well I'll leave that direction to you. I'm sure you actually remember everything that went on lol. I mean, I wouldn't mind if Sam and Dean were in the actual RP, but god knows I couldn't RP them.

Yeah and we could call those vampires Nosferatu or another name, to differentiate.
Vampires were Alpha monster etc. Nosferatu are humans cursed beyond even the comfort of hell or some such.

Also a wrestling arc. Maybe like they suspect a wrestler is actually a monster in disguise and then A leads to B leads to ARE YOU READY TO RUMMBBBLLEEEEEE???

Good call. We can make them similar but from a different root cause. The Alpha Vampire was apparently from Eve, but this can be a different species with its own origin.

Come on, it has so much potential.
Let's say it's a regular job, like hunting Vampires. They contact an ex-hunter in that town, who's now a professional wrestler. When they all catch up with the vampires, our guys stand dumbfounded while the wrestler lands the hurt on the vamps with nary a sweat.
So then suspicion arises, did this wrestler turn into something less natrual?
The story writes itself. It's bizarre enough to be a real episode too.

Also a Super Sentai (Think power rangers) one where the actors find out monsters really exist and band together in the name of JUSTICE. Think GHOSTFACERS. Just as wooby, just as useless.
 


Oh yeah, I was also thinking of Angra Mainyu. Zessy could make a cameo.
Essentially they'd hear that a bunch of people in one town are giving up all they have to charity, to the point where they starve to death. Investigation!

Oh yeah, check what I have so far. I basically just put links to relevant things supernatural entities and such. I have a section for "new monsters" for whatever we come up with later.
