i dont think so, as far as it goes, every bit of fate/stay night is important and has relevance, even the slice of lifes moments

They've never used it before though, because the scene had no relevance in either Fate or UBW (given that Sakura had no real bearing on the plot). If they're using it, it must be because they're either going the HF route or at least including part of it.

Even the two minor characters we see in the prologue and practically never hear from again?

There's quite a few characters you see and then barely hear from again. The three girls in Rin's class, Ayako, and Issei (who really only gets a few scenes outside the intro in UBW).

Well, he did post to say he would be around now. I think he might just be waiting for direction for his next/final post.

that reminds me, they didnt animate Shirou checking Issei if he had command seals, clearly more proof to show that DEEN only know how to waste potential

Also Issei has plot relevance because of caster.

I did like Ayako. It's a shame she got so little time. I think she would have made a good team with Lancer.

i think most masters seem to be the type of character you would avoid using in an rp - unsociable, quiet, dark and not very talkative

then again, talking to the other Masters and 'making friends' isn't their first priority...
