I don't know since it's not out yet. The novels are... basically imagine Detective Holmes stories, but it's Adult Waver and it's around the magus society.

Fate/Requiem is in an utopian world where death doesn't exist and the population has stagnated in numbers. Apparently everybody has a Servant, the Master's fate is tied to the Servant's fate. The main character is a girl that doesn't have this immortality and the servant she summons is a little kid that says that travels small stars and that he's duty is to kill Servants(everyone says he's The Little Prince)... Let your imagination run on that one. I have no idea what's comming out of this, but it was released yesterday and people are flipping at all the Servant being named(apparantly the theme of is traveling and conquest, cause most of the servants mentioned are conquerors, explorerors or intelectuals.

Hmm, I haven't decided. Possibly, we have a certain number of factions. People can either pledge to a faction or be rogue. Rogue magi can be recruited throughout. The goal is to subjugate or incorporate in all the other factions till yours is the last left.

I said she was thick, I think that implies large breasts, but I could be wrong and to be fair, breasts are fun but they aren't what atract me, hmph >.>

Fate/Extra was the opposite of an utopia XD
Although it's fun to watch the shitstorm happening. Beast's Lair is having a meltdown as they rage at the idea of everyone has a servant. And FGO reddit are brainstorming like crazy.

Well, supposedly the outside world is a "utopia" under the Harways. A stagnant utopia where nothing changes, but peaceful and orderly.

I don't much like the idea either. But the Fate franchise is already a runaway train. Might as well enjoy what you can get out of it and blissfully ignore the rest

Well, I'm optimistic. The fact that the main character is a girl means that there's no possibility for a repeat of Apocrypha's SeigXJeanne. Plus, this is my idea. Knowing the Nasuverse, I'm expecting the Utopia turning into a Dystopia.

Thank heavens for that. Yeah, if it were a real utopia, there wouldn't be much of a conflict to fuel the plot.

Uh... either one. The first one is probably more likely, but I don't mind either way. They might have divided because they had different approaches about how to handle the trade or their goals. Maybe some are just power hungry.

Well, it goes like this. If it's the first one, then they could have gone to a place to acomplish something, but differant people had differant views on how to acomplish that goal and so they seperated and since they still want to acomplish it but through their own methods they have conflict. This requires there to be a common goal and differant ideas on how to acomplish that goal. The goal also needs to be important enough to generate comflict. The easy answer would be to reach the root but it could also be large projects to acomplish something.

On the other hand if you have factions arriving at a location. That means the location itself must be the goal. So there's a reason for them to reach it. Typically a resource and it's limited or at least percieved as limited so they fight over it. In this one there needs to be something in that area that all the factions want for their own differant goals. Maybe a powerful artifact, maybe unlimited amounts of mana in an age where mana is scarce.
