Chat Thread 24: Two Girls, One Chat

well after Solomon is taken care of we'll get CCC event which I've heard is one of the best events in the game(story and gameplay wise) then we get four special events, 1º in a Sherlock Holmes modern setting, 2º in an amazonian setting, 3º in japan setting and 4º in america's pilgrim setting.

Oh yeah, I’ve heard about the Shinjuku event. I really want Moriarty Archer. And especially Emiya Alter. He looks really cool. And he’s got a really interesting background.

Honestly, the summoning system in this game annoys me. It’s just too hard to get what you want. I’d rather you need to get a specific number of Saint Quartz to buy a Servant from the shop, rather than just throw it into a random gamble. I get that’s to make people pay for more Quartz for better chances, but that kind of programming just feels predatory.

It’s such a bummer to get a Summon Ticket or 30 Quartz for a summon and end up with a bunch of nothing, especially considering they’re not that easy to obtain.

I tried to get Artoria Lancer Alter, got Tesla instead. Tried to get Artoria Lancer, got Karna instead. Don't know if I'm unlucky or lucky.

(shrugs) that's gacha games for you. although FGO is known for having the lowest ratings in the gacha system.

Two five star? Sounds lucky to me. I’d just get a crappy three star craft essence I already have.

I wanted a 4 star. Didnt get her and instead i got a 5 star. Xd (i'm actually crying)

i know that may sound like cool. But it-s not cool to know that four of the five atilla could have been other 5 stars.

besides I've put money into this game, so it's not like it's 100% luck. I've spent almost 100 euros trying to get scathach, didn't get her(think I got Drake instead) and spent another 100 euros trying to get Jeanne Alter and got nothing(I almost quitted that time)

I think considering the amount of money I've wasted on the game(yes wasted) I deserve some form of luck, even if it's not the one I want.

I’ll grant you that. At least I haven’t spent any money on it. So the fact that I have three 5 Stars is pretty good.

I got Merlin as well! I creamed the King of Mages with my Riders (my best team). Goetia required all my Command Spells, but I took him out. The King of Humans took a bit longer, but I managed him just fine. I had him down around 150k when he used his NP and cleared out my whole line. But I still had two Servants left, and he had only 1 HP.

I think I can do as admin. Let me check.

I used my a mixture of servants. Raiku, Brynhilde and Quetzalcoatl did their job.

Oh, when I read support I thought it was yours. Wasn't thinking of Friend support. Well, I saved up enough Saint Quarts for seven rolls, I think. I got several 5 Star CE, Merlin, and Saint Martha. She came in handy for the demon pillars.

Oh, you got Quetzalcoatl. You have no room to complain. >:0 I used David to Skill Seal so Goetia couldn't Pierce Invulnerability on its NP. Jack to Negate Buff the NP damage zero skill (which didn't work). Merlin for support. Ushiwakamaru and Ozymandias for damage. And a Friend's Jeanne Alter for backup.

I kind of knew, so it wasn't a big surprise. But the way in which that all worked out was a bit surprising. I also didn't know Fou/Cath Palug would end up being Primate Murder, of all things.

It's going to be weird without Roman around in the future. I guess Da Vinci will just do all the support herself?

Don't compare Quetzalcoatl to Merlin. Quetzalcoatl is an amazing character and a powerful servant, but Merlin is a broken ass servant with stupid skills and stupid NP, two of them in a team nearly one shots everything >.>

It was also funny because I wasted all my quartz trying to get her and Gorgon, and on the last poll, I'm like "please just give me Gorgon at least!, something please!" And then Quetzalcoatl comes out. Goddamit I didn't know wether to celebrate or rage.

I still have 54 SQ and 8 Summon Tickets. I was waiting for what I thought was a King Hassan banner, but it doesn't look like it's coming. I might use it on the Quetzalcoatl and Gorgon banner. I'd like to have an Avenger on my team. And an Ozymandias + Quetzal + Merlin team would be awesome.

You did? But it just came out in English. Were you watching the Japanese version?
