OMG!

i dont think theres many revelations left, Chapek is also based on a historical figure, and Moran is based on Sebastian Moran, a Sherlock Holmes villain(a male Sherlock Holmes villain)

Hopefully we don't need to explain Henry Irving and Bram Stoker. Heinz Heger was real too. He was a gay guy who wrote about his experience in Hitler's concentration camps. Hence, when Sharnoth comes down, he taunts "Mein Fuhr."

Oh, and there's Inspector Lestrade and Mrs. Hudson who are also from Sherlock. And Viola Baskerville.

I think the only one that flew over my head was Angelica (Angie) Derleth being a gender bend of H. P. Lovecraft's friend and contemporary August Derleth.

typically countries here study history of their country and it's origins.

Hmm. I know you told me about Angelica. And I think you might have mentioned the HP. But I know I've read about Heger before. Maybe that was after. 

Well, I've taken a ton of history classes, quite a few of which dealt with European or World events. Plus, I do like hearing about some histories and mythologies. You may be surprised, but European history was always my favorite.
