I think the dragons will have a standard size that is riding ready...but the stars in the stat will come into play as the story progresses... that sounds logical to me :/

Just reached my part in the IC and that "biting" comment XD I instantly felt like referencing Eragon right there XD If memory serves me correct, when Eragon touched Sapheera for the first time, his hand got burned (think of it as being bitten) and when he looked at it,  he had the Dragon Rider Mark

Also. in this "room of our dreams" which also mentions being like our actual room...

Does it also have the items from our actual room, prior to getting into the DRO Game?

EG: Cifujis's room has that table and mini-fridge that was mentioned in his backstory OOC.

So in this Game Created Room of his dreams which is based on his actual room; will he still have that table and or the mini fridge.. and if they are present, if he opens up the fridge (granted it can be interacted with) will it have items inside,

Eg: water bottle, ice-cream, and or other consumable items that may or may not have been present in his real house (this one is his dream house so maybe in his dream house he has items(his favorite or otherwise) inside that weren't in his reality?) 

Plus apart from those "decorations" (in the case of Cifujis real house/studio apparment; He had a Futon, Mini-Fridge, New-Durable-Lightweight-Alloyed Table, Indoor AC Unit and that's about it. Probably a tooth brush/first aid kit in the bathroom and a kettle, frying pan/pot in the kitchen.)

Will his Dream House have all that PLUS new stuff that his subconscious mind could have dreamed?


Basically I'm remembering The-Matrix. When Neo for the first time was taken into The Matrix, he had casual clothes and hairstyle but once he was told about how to tune his subconscious mind/his inner image, he had the sleek back hair, long coat and dark glasses.

What I'm asking is, how vivid can our initial imagination be(extreme or simple) and the ramifications (good and or bad) would they entail?

Say Cifujis always dreamed to live in a house made out of never-melt-ice (not an igloo shape but a proper house with counters and doors and what not but all made of Ice like properties/characteristics)

Would Cifujis have awoken in such a Dream House?
Same can apply for another extreme situation, A Ginger Bread house or a Swamp, a tree house... Lol I know I'm going to extremes here and probably this would be the least of the character's worries and affect the story, but I was only wondering about it all

Oh my... That's typo... I will edit that and yes Ghosty it could really look like your actual room. However, to some people, their actual room might not be comfortable so they get their dreamy room (which is comfortable for them)

Your imagination could work with application of your skills in game, and no, only furnitures will be same; other items such as ice cream and etc won't be there

Ah, so the mini-fridge would be there, it will be in black but I won't be able to open its door and take out another water-bottle ... It will basically be as a "decoration" piece... like a.. piece of carpet?

Also my room didn't have any carpet so the dream room can have that... but will I be able to rip the carpet and potentially use it? for say covering myself in it to use as a blanket of sorts or wrap the dragon in it or even feed the carpet to the dragon?

No no, the function of every furniture will be able to use, however, there won't be any ice cream/or some thing that you could consume it.

You can, however, rip of your carpet to make something else.... Or you could strip every single furniture and make something else as well

For instant, you have metal chair, you could make it into piece of metal junk to create metal sword or something that suits your need

Ah that is quite nifty. Cause I have my starting character image and he only has a sword on him as a main weapon. Crafting that sword out of the special allow that my table is made out off can be used as initiating/unlocking my first skill (weapon crafting)

Pity that the fridge is empty.. lol no starting recovery potions or treats to give to the dragon.
... I could use it as a crafting item/material too or keep it for later to store future consumable items instead of in a character personal inventory stash/trunk :P

The crafted swords/weapons/armors. will they be upgrade-able(add properties to them) or degradable(get rusted, blunt, broken down after multiple use)?
like the more you use them the more leveled up they can get and gain new properties or something like that. Or its just a breakable item. Has some durability points and after being used against monsters, environment, they will get turned into junk(craft-able material)?

Or take it to a smith and they could repair it back to its former state for a price or buy it off of you as junk


EDIT: So I tried using Microsoft speech/voice recognition software to dictate my post ... it took me an hour or felt like that to get one sentence down. Lol it is so much easier, simpler, hassle free and quicker to use a keyboard to type about



Update: I can describe the egg however I wish to, right? as long as it is Egg Shape, the outside texture and how it breaks apart to reveal the dragon inside, could be anything ?

If your smithing skill is high, weapon you have created would last longer and have great durability

If you don't, well, you will have a lot limitation

hmm... in that case I'll just have to break the floor tiles and use them for weapon /armor crafting. They should hold till I gather new materials and begin leveling up with those materials, to finally gain enough skill points to use my AC for crafting an Electric-Wind sword-imbued with Ice element properties

Also later, I can use the Table for crafting a strong durable sword.


But for now I need to think answers for the initial 3 questions.


@Illya: Your character said that she'll feed her Dragon Angel Cake...

I'm not sure if we will have to really feed the Dragons what we answer

(I think its just to evaluate the meaning/feeling behind the answers.
EG: The character stating that they will feed them the character's favorite food, so the Dragon will interpret that as their master likes to share their favorite things with it... or something psychological like that)

Either ways, if we do end up have to feed them our answer; would you take up Cooking profession/skill or go adventuring around the world to find the best flavored Angel Cake (granted the shops do sell them and the taste varies, location wise.)

Ghosty, with your smithing skill it won't be a great weapon

Even you have created with such materials, yours would not last long enough

@Nex: maybe you already answered this before, cause I vaguely remember this being mentioned... but these side skills, Cooking, knitting, fishing, dancing, chess player, etc... these won't take up our 10/20 skill/spell slots right?

Yes.. that's why I said I'll hold on to the Table and AC but use the floor tiles. The tiles would be abundant and when the armor/weapon breaks, I can just go home and use more. But once I am high enough level Like master class or something, then I can use the rare materials so they don't go to waste.

Speaking of which, can our house be invaded by enemies or other players or it is in a safe zone in the town.
Invaded meaning, broken into and also destroyed from the outside.
These house would be our Respawn points so I think it should be safe.
But when we do respawn, will the house turn back to its optimum condition..
like can I find a loop hole / exploit in the game system, to the likes off auto repair.
EG: If I use the floor tiles to craft items, and after a respawn the floor tiles would have repaired so I can reuse the new tiles from the exact same spot.

sadly, Ghosty, smithing would take the slot of your 10/20 skill/magic (that is not extra passive/extra active skill)

And no, if you have used your house to be messy, unless you get yourself a butler/housekeeper, your house is going to be same as you left them

So use your house wisely

Respawn points will be explained through IC

Ah yes I remember Smithing being a skill slot ability (one for Weapon and one for Armor)
Not sure about cooking and knitting (creating or repairing clothes which don't really give defense boost but could mainly be used as costumes) Like in games there are DLC to change character appearance.

Ah so I can have my house repaired but it will cost me
Oh well grind grind and more grinding to get materials XD
Is getting money easy in here? like can we farm coins(currency) easily by defeating common monsters that may be roaming the outskirts of the town?

Lol If I ever get in touch with a developer when starting a new game. Especially a VR Game.. I'm pretty sure they'll just ban me for coming out as annoying to them or simply say that "Play the Game and find out yourself!!" XD

I just don't like going into anything blind.
The more I know the better prepared I can be.
For a VR Game, there is so much potential in them but at the same time if not developed properly/immersively then the limitations could really damper the fun (at least for me )

In the current MMORPGS I'm spending the start of the game, going through each and every settings, controls, locked skills, lore and tutorials etc before diving into game-play :/

And then if anything I find in game and I don't understand and I really want to know (cant wait to test it with everything) then I just in the chat section: "Hi People!! Sorry but Noob question here! What does XYZ do? Can I do this-and-that with it? Is it a good item to keep for later? etc etc"
Mostly people ignore, but then there are the good ones who do answer back and then there are the extremely generous ones who give you free stuff that is no use to them but helpful for beginner class XD

Free stuff is always good and make you appreciate the community.

Well, I get that. But this is an rp, not an actual mmo lol. I'm pretty sure none of the typical stuff is going to be relevant when the plot kicks off, which he made to sound would be pretty much right away.

...yeah lol I just over complicate stuff for myself I get that a lot from when discussing things with people.
They always end up telling me that I just wasted my time by going through all those hoops and twists when there was a simple straight forward path to be taken...
How do they always find that path and I only see the turns and junctions and forks and a huge maze that I think I would simply climb to the top and go from there but end up getting lost in the rush of it all XD
