I never played those games, but I did play Phantom Brave, and he and Etna and Flonne make guest appearances as boss battles (and playable characters, if you win).

Walnut actually ends up in Soul Nomad too. I'm pretty sure I've told you before though.
There's also Lujei from Grim Grimoire. Laharl doesn't make an appearance, but he does make a short cameo lol
