It's somewhat like that. Someone being a Jobber means that, even though they're capable and by all rights should be successful, they aren't. Gilgamesh, for example, could end the war in a day. But instead he just sits and plays around, and never gives two bits of effort when fighting. Imagine a pro gamer losing to a casual one because he wasn't taking him seriously. Or maybe his character/whatever is countered. Or maybe he got distracted. Maybe he's really tired! Maybe he just has crap luck. Now imagine that happening all the time. =O That's a Jobber. It often happens to villains in games due to plot & plot armor. |
