True, but keep in mind that he does have a bunch of Command Spells. That's powerful magic he can use to gain the upper hand on her.

It also means one less command seal in the games to keep servants in control.

In the VN? It was only once she was inside that she was fine. Even Saber with magic resistance had to use the front gate.

i remember Caster turning that field to her favor, don't remember any mention on it ever affecting it, since she was never mention to be in the forest

She did because once you're inside, it didn't affect you. So once she set up a workshop there, it acted as a defensive barrier for her. In the case of the church, it's always active within its bounds.

what i'm saying is, where is it stated this, when does this happen? the vn never talks about Caster being affected by it, only about her using it.

infact, i dont remember if it was in a material book or in the actual VN, modern magic was useless against Caster even though she had no magic resistance because it was like throwing water from a cup against a huge waterfall. aka will do nothing

Well, the mountain's field wasn't magecraft. It was just a place of purity that naturally rebounded spirits. In the case of the church, it isn't magecraft either. It's... a holy relic. Yes, a holy relic that rebounds spirits.

Then let's just say the Church's was built with a command seal or two to specifically affect servants.
