It's not as much as it seems. Just a subplot for Arya and Raidon, likely touching on Lisa and possibly Keynes as well.

It depends. With a son, he would definitely be an awkward mentor, trying to raise his son to be a better man and giving him clumsy pats on the head. With a daughter, he'd be an awkward indulger, embarrassedly going along with whatever she wants to do like tea parties.

Or it could be twins. :P
