Respect has nothing to do with affection. You can respect someone and like them as a friend, you can respect them and love them, you can respect them and not like them, you can not respect them and not like them, you can not respect them and like them, and you can not respect them and love them (the latter two being the foundations of abusive relationships).

I mean, Lisa respects Raidon, but she's still not overly fond of him. His presence is tolerated because he makes Arya happy.

I've been meaning to ask about that. How does Keynes feel about Raidon? We never really touched on it before the end of the last one - as Lisa's woes were kind of hogging the spotlight there.

Keynes probably doesn't ever seek out conversation with him, but he wouldn't house any deep hated at this point. Raidon is essentially a stranger to him.

The one with the most buried animosity towards him would actually be Alina. By giving him the job with internal affairs, she's essentially been using him as a tool to have him repay her, and the general public, for his mistakes. She's normally indifferent to him, in a professional manner, but the wrong topic of discussion could definitely lead to a dark place.

I think Kokonoe and Jax are probably the friendliest toward him - or, at least, Kokonoe is completely indifferent, and Jax is polite.

Oh, I have another question... (yes, sometimes my brain is random)
This concerns Lenka, as I'm will activate her strain at some point. Before that happens, she wouldn't be affected by injection, even though the strain is lying dorman, right?

That's an interesting question. I hadn't really considered it, but I think it wouldn't affect her. After all, silencing essentially puts the strain back into hibernation. So if it doesn't affect James, it shouldn't affect Lenka (yet).
