| There's a 137 meter difference from the highest to lowest elevation in the city, so it would probably involve luring the enemy into the lower regions and then flooding those parts. And well... it's difficult to survive floods and it would leave a magus wide open at the same time. | |

| Hmm.. true enough. It's risky drawing attention to the war, since it could bring down the Mediator on you. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~ | |

| you mean like when Kiritsugu blew up the skyscraper?
the mediators job is to cover up accidents made by magus or collateral damage, but overall, they dont really care so long as it doesnt raise any suspicion of "Hmmmmm, you know what, I think it was magic that made that building blow up" which is highly unlikely with modern society way of thinking |

| Exactly.
Well yeah, but still. It's good to be subtle when possible. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~

| dont "exactly" me, all that resulted was in Kayneth going after Kiritsugu, who was his target to begin with, and Kotomine watching from afar, who has already interest in Kiritsugu way before that happened. No one else gave a damn about that.
subtle doesnt have the same meaning in the grail war as it has in other situation. In other situation being subtle is essentially holding back to the point where no one notices. In the grail war, you simply have to make preparations so that nonmagus people dont get involved, like setting up boundary fields or scouting the terrain before hand. Other than that, there is no subtleness, you think servants held back as they turned that port to a battlefield in fate/zero, or when Berserker in FSN was literally wreaking houses in his fight against Saber. Masters just dont have has much destructiveness as them, but they will still not hold back on beating/killing the enemy just for the sake of not being noticed. |

| The harbor situation was a necessity because Caster was already stomping around with a giant Lovecraftian abomination. It doesn't get more noticeable than that. And I never said not to do anything noticeable. >.> I just said it's risky to draw too much attention. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~ | |

| i was talking about the arbor, the place where Lancer fought Saber for the first time.
we could also talk about Rider flying around with his chariot. or Saber and Rider racing and fighting, which in the original novel was in the middle of actual streets with cars and everything and not just a long road with nothing. Or how about Rider vs Gilgamesh, I highly doubt anyone cared when weapons were being thrown all over the bridge and exploding like carping bombing. though both where after Risei died.
overall, grail wars arent subtle in the leastest, they are just chaotic and destructive where miraculously no one ever notices and everything is shruged off as "Gas pipe explosions" |

| so basically we make an original master or magus and choose a servant? (or only a master profession is able to have it's own servant) or may we create an original servant? And is this going to be something like a team-work roleplay or a single forum-user can control an original created Master and Servant at the same time? | |

| All Servants were created by me, though some players are allowed to use them. Similarly, some Masters are NPC while others are players (player Masters are all created by them). Each Master hails from a certain magus faction to represent them and must work together with their Servant (either controlled by me or another player) to win.
Unfortunately, all roles have been taken at this time, so unless someone drops out, I don't have an opening for you. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~

| Yes, but so far we don't know if Fooly won't show up. Even if he doesn't, I already told Nex he could use Berserker in that case. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~ | |
