How exactly did you manage to get the nickname Spirit?

some knew about me being a Spirit summoning practitioner and other spells
though there was another reason that the girl gave me was that I simply raised the spirits of people when I was in the room. (emotionally, not literally )

Uh.. right.

now don't go judging that all spell casters are devil worshipers or worship anything for that matter.
This world runs on energy and how one taps into that energy and how they interpret it, that differs from individual to individual.
I've used some spells/rituals marked as "Holy Magic" passed down from generations through teacher/student/families and got a certain experience out of it.
Then A book came into my possession, marked as a "Dark Arts". I picked a ritual that seemed quite simple to do and tried it. Felt the same experience of energy surge through me at the end that I had felt using the "Holy Spells".

Aced it for originality and then lied to the professor that I took it from a game so that my teachers wouldn't know the truth. Got marks cut for plagiarizing :P (good thing he didn't ask to see the game )

Right.. Well, I do believe that stuff exists. But I don't think it should be tampered with..

well in my defense "they" started it first (actually it was my nanny who was a voodooist who according to my grandma and mother, was caught feeding baby me black seeds and threatened to destroy my family when she was found out and if they didn't let her go.)
Nothing happened then but then for as long as I can remember (after I turned 6) I have experienced demonic presences and attacks on my body and soul at random times of the days and locations. Only recently like 3 months ago did I manage to meet a faith healer who specialized in warding of harmful spirits. since then the attacks have greatly lessened.

So I have no option or excuse to not believe in that kind of stuff but yeah you are right that one should not temper with otherworldly affairs when they are not fully well versed in that area. (I did the ritual(s) at a time in my life where I thought that things couldn't possibly get worse ) I haven't dabbled in any of the "meta" field after the cleansing, though I am still tempted to do so from time to time >__>

I meant no one should tamper with powers like that. At least, that's what I believe.

I agree but in a world where human souls are easily corrupted due to the fact that those people have not been living an ideal life (basically being oppressed or having their rights taken away, not getting the peaceful life they should be having) They tend to turn to sources which would grant them what they desire. some ofcourse manage to live with what they have and do not complain but then there are others who are too weak to do so. It is these poor souls that the "negative energy" is attracted towards and slowly corrupts them with fake grandeur.

It takes only one bad apple to corrupt the whole lot. (though there are those who are able to withstand their influence and save them selves.) There is a certain place in this world which I would not disclose that acts as a bastion for the people who fell to deep and now "worship" those that corrupted them with the negative energy.

The location of the place came to me in a dream but I shrugged it off at the time but years later I met a guy who confided in me that his maid tried to sway him to the side of a cult that originated/resides in that location which she was a part off. (the guy like me also was attuned to the supernatural (was attacked by the negative energies and pestered by poltergeists. actually his entire family was except one of his brother))

The part of his story which really fascinated me was that the steps that his maid told him were exactly the same down the every last bit of what came to me in my dream on how to gain access to that location and "please" the people/beings to become a part of them.

There always is an origin of what one considers an evil. And I believe that, no matter how evil some humans are, they at one point were taught to become so from someone else and that person was told by another. And the chain goes all the way to the original Evil which may or may not be human in nature.

So yeah one does tamper in the meta field but majority of the time they do because they get influenced by others. I am not saying that what they do is justified because of their circumstances but just that those poor souls who fall too deep and can't climb back out are the kind that can't stop themselves from initially taking revenge on those that they believe did them wrong but then they get corrupted into becoming the very persons they resented.

It's a vicious cycle where only the Negative Energies are the victors and the humankind suffer. Revenge and hatred only causes more pain. That's why I always believe in forgiveness, patience and the mindset that eventually the time will arrive where everything will get balanced out.

considering how long i've been here + the fact that I'm in the middle of O levels + the fact that i was sick a while ago, i'm going pretty damn fast O:
