no, Cambridge just holds then nation wide, and you can't even get a proper job without passing them with good results. Basically, the regular high school exams here are purely for show, only the O and A levels hold any real meaning

hey, I usually pass without studying *shrug* *gonna actually study for them O levels cuz he can;t afford to fail them*

so we wore fancy white shirts, fancy black pants, and fancy red ties to graduation yesterday.... I swear to god, I'm never wearing a tie again if i can help it. *trying to keep conversation alive*

you should have heard the excruciatingly boring education minister going on and on about how great he and the president are. The guy stopped talking after every freaking word.

No excuse. You have to build up good study habits now, even when you don't need them. That way when you get to college, you'll be prepared. I went to school with people as smart as me that did very poorly in college cause they never bothered to study.

Depends on the subject. But it's not a matter of liking or disliking. It's a necessity. It's like lifting weights to build muscle. Maybe you don't enjoy it, but it's the only way to get better.
