Katanagatari has fabulous designs, though the characters aren't flamboyant in spirit. There's also the BURNING FIGHTING FIGHTER anime but I think you've seen that.

I can hardly watch a series now. I haven't seen one in forever.

and i havent seen it yet

same goes for Katanagatari so i guess one of those is next...
