yes hornets, there was a hive(in the making) in the ceiling of the stairs, probably had only one or two days, but since it was in the ceiling, mind you of the stairs where you normally don't stay to long to look at whatever it might hide. i had three hornets and a bunch of eggs, surprisingly no queen.

it was funny how i found it. i was sleeping and this really annoying fly was buzzing on my ear, so i got up to kill it. follow it to the stairs loo up to where it went and i just see this ball hanging from the ceiling. my face was like this when i saw it

yes danny, getting it out is the problem, since this is no cave there is nowhere in the ceiling for it to grab, thus this constantly flying around it annoying my ears.

It will just be something that's cool to see... it's different from the normal annoying fly or spider.

That moment you saw the bat would be funny to see indeed lol


Do those things fly out of windows easily? I can't image it'll like roaming in the light very much, even if it relies on echolocation. And considering how agitated it seems.. it shouldn't be too hard.. I hope

illya, the bats around here are the size of a normal thumb, smaller than mine(except when they open their wings) they are harmless.

finally caught it has it went against a bookshelf and hid behind them. it was so cute @_@

it was shrieking and flapping its wings as i grabbed it, and its bite was adorable

i was wary of bats before, but it was so cute, i almost felt like keeping it, but they arent domestic, so no point in keeping it just for it to die, so i let it go outside.

But it wasn't Xennox fault for joining late :<

Bats here are the size of birds. Their wing span can be up to a foot long. There was a flock of them in our backyard the other night. They were swooping around snatching insects out of the air.

look at it! it's fluffy! it's cute! it's adorable! AND YOU JUST WANT TO PET IT!

birds are scarier than bats in my opinion. have you ever been pecked by them? those beaks are sharp like knifes!

beautiful? yes, but have you actually tried to touch one that wasnt trained? they are devils. i have dogs and cats bite me for fun, claw me for fun(mind you their fun still leaves marks, bleeding marks) and no animal as made me yell in pain more than fucking birds have. those beaks just go through your flesh like it's butter

all birds that pecked me were domesticated, i dont have the gutts to touch a wild one.

so no, being wild has nothing to do with it. birds beaks and talons are simply designed to pierce, thus your skin and flesh offer little resistance

That's what we do. We get tons of birds in our backyard.

No? Lol. I'm in a development in the suburbs, but we have like farms and woods nearby (I mean right behind my backyard is a farm). So we get birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbits all the time in our backyard. The farmer's cat likes to prowl around too lol.
