no, the chapter that jorg posted was fan translated by someone cuz he wanted to bring up the topics for a discussion.(the person is also known for troll translations mind you,but i say you can mostly trust those pages) that being chapter 17 when translations are only at 12 i for one use Mangafox

More the form of a cylinder with a point. Anyway, it's a mass of vibrations that are constantly colliding with each other, when released from that form, it'll "explode" outward and deal high amounts of damage. when opposite vibrations collide, they negate each other. and equal vibrations can never meet The ones that form the outer-most Layer Reflects the ones inside, and compresses them. you know what this spell reminds me off? a particular attack done by an Arrancar.
anyway, i'll deny it just for looking like a weapon. the only reason illya's character has a spell that makes a whip is because she's the boss, otherwise I would slap it out :V Oh please Remilia's Gungnir I made was almost on Karna levels. That **** dun even compare. |

| Oh. It'd still probably be as good if not better against one person though. Which raises the question... Can Servants survive in outer space? - jorgiguel wrote:
- i'm not saying it's impossible, i'm just questioning the utility of a spell that makes a  fire-whip for the daily day life of a researcher of magecraft, aka Magus
versus, I don't know, just carbonizing someone Meira's actually going to be trying to learn a way to make people spontaneously combust. (With no progress, ofc. ) |

| Servants don't need to breathe or eat or anything to survive. They're spirits. So yes, I would think they could survive in space. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~ | |

| Well there's also the vacuumyness and cold.
I'm pretty sure those affect mana as well.
Hmmm they'd probably be able to in spirit form but not manifested. |

| I don't think either of those factors would affect a Servant or mana.
The Master, yes, but I assumed the Master would be on earth still. There's no real telling how dependent a contract is on distance though. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~

| So then a servant would also be able to survive on the sun... Mind = Blown I thought these guys were supposed to be human in at least some fashion. |

| very dependent, there's a reason why it's said that Archer can act more freely than other, because they have a skill which allows them to be far away from the their Master.
I guess you could imagine it as a line of mana that connects both, and the farther they are apart, the thinner it gets, to the point where it just doesn't exist
Independent Action allows Archers to reserve their mana without a connection, were as other Servants would have their mana reserves rapidly decreasing. |

| Spirits can only be affected by other spiritual entities or divine mysteries. How much impact the environment has on them has never been discussed. We know they don't need to breathe or eat or perform other bodily functions like humans to survive, but since they've only ever been summoned on earth, it's hard to tell how they'd perform in a different environment (the Moon Cell has its own rules and has an environment similar to earth, so I don't think that counts).
Ah, makes sense. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~

| He's a possibly stupid question I'm asking purely for curiosity's sake: Does constant vibration cause heat? | |

Mind = Blown
I thought these guys were supposed to be human in at least some fashion. likely not. This is the Nasuverse, most things like planets and stars have mysteries behind them, thus space itself might be a mystery and thus affect them. the only moment in the nasuverse where servants and space were together was in CCC, and it's unknown in what conditions the servants were, were they in the middle of nowhere? in same inhabital planet? in a black hole? in a habital planet? It's unknown |

| Yes, constant vibration causes heat, particularly if it's causing friction with a surface. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~ | |

vibration doesnt cause heat, heat exist because of vibration. if there's no vibration, there is no heat, like literally |

| Well yes, if you're going to go to a microscopic level, that's definitely true.
See, this is why making spells overly scientific is kind of a nuisance.. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~
