Chat Thread 3: Remaining Sense of Payne

You should probably develop the other nations before you decide on that then, unless you're planning on going for something like an underground syndicate or something.

hmmm, yet to decide, though yes, if it ends up being from another nation i'll have to make them up :V

also, i'm thinking perharps start thinking about rules and mechanics for magic since I think that would have a play in the culture, but I'm unsure if it actually would.

Back to the drawing board :p

Magic can basically influence the world in two ways depending on how it works. If the magic is less understood then it will create a stronger belief in god and make anything that involves divinity stronger. But, if people understand where the magic comes from and how it works then a stronger sense of self importance will develop and divinity will become weaker.

Given that if someone has magic then they will feel more self important, as that kind of energy can really create some excitement in a human being.

But if you want me to go into specifics it will depend on the restrictions of your magic and how it works.

well the way I was going is that only some people could use magic and thus understand it

So ya the sense of self importance will go through the roof with that :x

Unless it's frowned on by the culture, then that depends on whether the person likes to be in the cultural norm or not.

Tsukihime's dead ends really don't stand out like FSN's do. There's really not that many either.

I didn't really hunt down every possibility. But the number of dead-ends is probably about half as many, nowhere near as gruesome, and more predictable.

Still enjoyable dead-ends, but it's just not as notorious for them as FSN.

from what I heard about the FSN dead ends, I'm inclined to agree xD
