Jane arched a delicate brow at Keynes words, an amused smile playing on her lips.

"I didn't take you for the possessive type," she mused cooly, turning back to her plate. Jane knew from experience that you couldn't let a man think you were too interested or the game would lose its fun. Suddenly, however, Alex interrupted the verbal play with his inquiry of Jane's information network.

"I have information sources everywhere," Jane replied, looking at Alex attentively. "It's a major part of being a high agent. As for current news.."

The chatter at the table suddenly ceased as everyone stopped to hear what Jane had to say.

"I wasn't going to inform you all until I had something solid," the agent continued, looking more serious.. "But the Praetorate - that is, the council of the Army's four Commanders - is convening for an emergency session. I expect they'll be making some decisions about the fiasco at the water plant. I can't say for sure what the result will be, however, until one of my information sources at the palace can inform me of what's said."

Jax looked grave as he took in Jane's words. It was unlikely the Army would continue to take a passive stance on all this - they simply could not afford to act as though Legion did not exist and lose credibility.

"It's going to get ugly, isn't it?" he said quietly, his soft grey eyes probing Jane's for answers. The high agent didn't reply, but merely returned his look with one that spoke for itself.

"Well, let's not waste time then," the Red Rider said, standing up. "There's training to be done."

Jax led the way out of the kitchen to the training room, with Rise following closely behind. She ws beginning to feel guilty for prioritizing learning cooking and domestic talents over training to fight for Kaddath's freedom.

"This isn't a game. We're fighting for keeps," the brunette told herself, eyes narrowed. "And I need to do my part."

Police Airship

The man in the cell across from Arya gave an amused laugh and leaned back, picking at his teeth casually. He was rather handsome, with sleek, dirty blonde hair slicked back to his shoulders and eyes that were a mischievous, twinkling blue.

"Lieutenant, huh? Name's Darcy, sugar. Ned Darcy. I'd offer a hand, but I can't quite reach you," Darcy said, winking. "So, what did you do to get on Old Sunshine's bad side?"

One again, his eyes raked over Arya's form none too subtly.

"You've got some nice assets," he commented, now inspecting his nails. "Too bad our friend Raidon is more machine than man. Otherwise, you could put them to good use."

Barracks

Lancar looked up as Aera entered the room, bringing them food. The lieutenant had almost forgotten about food and his hunger under the circumstances, but now it all seemed to rush back.

"Thank you, Aera," he replied, smiling gratefully as he accepted the bag of food. Just then, the medic cleared her throat and pursed her lips.

"Your turn, Lieutenant," the woman replied, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. She'd apparently just finished with Xennox. Lancar nodded and moved onto the table, waiting for the medic's instructions.

"Please remove your jacket and shirt, Lieutenant," the medic said briskly. Lancar swallowed uncomfortably, glancing from Aera to the medic. Being in a partial state of undress around women was a bit embarrassing.

"Of course," he relented with a sigh, knowing there was nothing to be done about it. No sooner had he bared himself for the medic's inspection when - as if by some psychic radar - Sasha burst into the room.

"LT! I heard you were hurt!" she wailed, almost knocking the medic aside as threw her arms around him. Lancar could barely speak from shock and humiliation as the medic glared at the two of them.

"Excuse me, but we're in the middle of a treatment here," the medic said irritably as Sasha nuzzled into Lancar's shoulder, hands roming over the bare flesh of his back.

"Sasha, so help me I will kill you if you don't get off of me right now," Lancar hissed, cheeks burning red. Sasha giggled and pulled back slightly, dragging her hands across his shoulders and onto his chest.

"I guess we'll just have to continue this later," she purred, winking before unseating herself from the bed. Lancar rubbed his temples, wishing he could vanish through the floor. However, Xennox approached him, suddenly driving Sasha's attempts to fluster him from his mind.

"Are you sure Aera's hurt?" he asked, brows furrowed. "Well, I'll make sure she gets looked at next then."

With a nod, he turned back to the medic, who forced him back onto the bed with less gentility than the first time before treating his wounds.

The guy across from he apparently was not satisfied with her answer and kept talking. Arya sat up straight against the wall, even though just look of it repulsed her, and crossed her legs.

She took a closer look at the man, who introduced himself as Darcy. If he wasn't so covered in dirt, he might even look handsome, but as it was, it was hard to tell.

"I did not do anything wrong," she said and glanced up at the cameras. As a part of the weapons development center, she was well aware of the layout of these airships and knew all of them were fitted with camera and sound equipment. Despite still feeling shocked, her mind was clear enough to prevent her fromincriminating herself.

"I am sure it is all just a big misunderstanding," even though she tried to sound like she meant it, there was clearly doubt in her voice.

"I would not ever consider that," she replied and shook her head to emphasize. "I did not need to rely on my gender to become a Lieutenant and I certainly will not start now."

There was a pause while Arya pulled down a few hair clips and began to redo her hair for the sake of doin soemthing.

"Why are you here?" she finally asked in the hope of diverting the topic from herself. Anything was a better distraction than talking about her current predicament.

How could one man be so annoying? He would be so much cuter if he'd just stay asleep all the time... Dammit, where had that thought come from?

Despite being annoyed with both Snow and herself, Elizabeth couldn't keep the teasing tone out of her voice when she responded to him. "Didn't you know? When it comes to arguments, girls are always right."

She frowned when he immediately went for the pack of cigarettes, but Elizabeth didn't say anything. If he wanted feel the stitches dig in whenever he coughed, that was his problem. She'd just sit back and laugh at him for it. Almost hesitantly, she started to follow him down the stairs, and his words cut deep for some reason. Did she care what Roy thought?

No... She couldn't care any less. Well, maybe she wouldn't have if Snow hadn't mentioned the blood she was still covered in. During the night, she'd washed her hands, but apparently, she'd forgotten about the spot smeared across her forehead, and she didn't have time to deal with it now if she wanted to be privy to the conversation that was about to take place. So, she raised her head and glared defiantly as she stepped into the garage.

Roy's first reaction to the two of them was that they'd killed someone, and Elizabeth had to fight off the urge to laugh. Yeah, maybe she'd butcher Snow later... Actually, she would... Maybe not today, but it was coming soon...

"Finally," he said and followed after the others into the trainings room. He put his weapons on the ground, since it looked like they were going to do something else first.

Before Jax could tell them anything, he walked over to the wall and started stretching his muscles. It was one mistake he made yesterday and James had no intention to repeat it.

"What are we starting with? Running again?" he tried to sound enthusiastic, but running wasn't exactly his favorite discipline. He watched Rise, discreetly. For some reason he couldn't quite pinpoint, she was not looking as cheerful as this morning during breakfast, but then he remembered how she had skipped out of training yesterday. Maybe they did have some things in common.

Snow's Garage

Roy looked up when Lizzy came downstairs and he raised an eyebrow at her appearance, but didn't comment on it. Since Snow made no objections of her being here and he knew she was somehow involved, he didn't hesitate any longer and spoke.

"I asked around about the kids on the pictures you gave. There is a guy you should talk to. If they have any irregular connections he will know about it…" Roy trailed off and his expression became at little concerned when he looked at Snow again.

Snow just lit a second cigarette and caught Roy's careful tone. "What is it?" he asked impatient. "Just tell me."

"Well, first off, he's a rival of Tony's. And second…," Roy hesitated again, but another glare from Snow got him talking again. "He owns a casino and he's hosting a tournament tomorrow. If you want to talk to him, that's your chance, because on normal days even you can't get close to him." Roy finished quickly and pulled a sheet of paper from his pocket.

"You have an invitation. That's all I could do," Roy sounded almost apologetic and handed Snow the paper.

Snow groaned and took the paper, skimming over it before leaving it on the table. "You're kidding, right?" he said and crushed the second cigarette under his heel and shook his head. There was no way around it.

"I know you had to pull some strings. I'll let you know how it pans out," and with that he got up and headed for the stairs, completely ignoring Lizzy.

When Snow was out of sight, Roy turned to Lizzy. "I don't know what you got him into, but watch his back. I'm tired of losing friends," he said and turned to leave. Just before reaching the door, he stopped for a second and added, "And whatever you do. Don't ever lend him money."

Aera (Medical wing)

It felt like a weight was lifted off Aera's shoulders the moment Lancar accepted the bag without anything going on. Good, it was a good idea, so now Aera didn't have to worry about all that much... that was until Xennox was done being treated and grabbed Aera's hand and began talking about how it would hinder the mission even if the injury was minor. This sent a mixture of emotions through Aera's mind.

"Get off me!" Aera replied in an elevated voice, as she pulled her hand out of Xennox's grip and holding the hand the hand he was holding with her other hand in an annoyed manner. Aera began to breath heavily glaring in the direction of man who just touched her hand like he did something horrible. Though, Aera took a brief glance at her hand yet again almost like she was confirming something before she took a deep breath and looked at Xennox normally the next moment.

How could she of reacted so negatively? His argument was sound. Man, these people must really think ill of her now... There's no use in making the situation worse so she might as well explain the truth. that way, they will just realize the injury was nothing and leave her alone. So, just remember Aera dignity, poise, and focus.... Then she should be able to get out of the situation without further embarrassment.

"Sorry, I was hit by a strange dark energy that nicked my hand... It's nothing... just a small scrape..." Aera defended herself in front of everyone in the medical wing, and while Aera couldn't really tell what everyone else thought due to her blindness, she know she overstepped the boundaries that were set for someone weak like her at that moment.

Then almost out of habit, Aera's mind told her to just walk out of the room, but she had recovered enough of her poise at this point that she could restrain herself and hear what everyone else had to say before she booked it out of this room.

Daemond (Medical wing)

"No Xennox, sorry I'm being a little weird, I just want to watch the Dia strain in action." Daemond replied to Xennox's comment, as he continued to observe the procedure in an interested fashion focused more then he would usually be in any other studying situation. Daemond had his hand under his chin, but after Xennox's comment he took a few steps back and sat down in the chair behind him.

In fact, it even scared Daemond slightly when he realized he had been looking at Xennox so intensely. So, he moved back a bit in respect since he could only image how freaked out his fellow ensign would be. Though, much to Daemond's dismay the procedure ended rather quickly, and Daemond lost interest in Xennox immediately as his attention shifted to Lancar instead to see how they would heal the wounds that Daemond couldn't heal with his simple Dia spell.

That was when a slight yell resonated in Daemond's ears that normally would slightly break Daemond's focus unless it was from someone who never showed any emotion like Aera, which it was. This made Daemond immediately glance with a startled look in their direction, as he began to listen to their conversation completely baffled as to how Xennox did something like that to Aera.

"What happened..." Daemond replied rather startled, as he began to push himself out of the chair using the armrests, but was quickly overshadowed by Aera apologizing about a slight scrape from an attack of dark energy that she received from the enemy they apparently fought, which made Daemond responded to with a heavy sigh half in relief and half in... this is what the yell was about....?

"I can treat a minor wound like that, give me a second Aera..." Daemond stated brief and concise, as he walked over to the tensed Aera's location and held an imaginary sword in his left hand as a magical circle formed that Daemond quickly punched as his hand began to fill up with healing energy.

"Dia..." Daemond mumbled, quickly running the healing energy over Aera's wound with him patting his hands together the moment the spell was over almost as a job well done to himself with him observing the dark spot for a few more seconds to make sure that it was alright. After that, he gave Aera and brief nod and turned his attention back to Lancar to see how the procedure was doing.

It's not that he didn't care about how Aera was doing, but he was more concerned with their member who was almost fatally eaten by majin just this morning, which would send shivers down the most trained of soldiers in the army, espically if they heard Lancar's frightened scream the moment those majin descended on him... man that was bone chilling.

Jax frowned as he realized that most of the others hadn't followed them in yet. Turning to James, he gave the other young man a nod and began to stretch his legs.

"Always a good warmup," he confirmed. "Just to get our blood pumping. I think we should try working on our spellcasting then. It's not just about fighting hand-to-hand."

Feeling sufficiently stretched, Jax started on the laps, with Rise following behind. Unlike the last time, she focused on him as a motivational symbol, rather than just some eye-candy.

"I have to keep up. I won't slow Aegis down," she swore, trying to regulate her breathing as she ran in earnest. It wasn't easy, but Rise was able to force herself to keep at a constant pace for the several laps they ran. At the end, she found herself a bit out of breath, but she tried to hide it as much as possible.

"So.. what's.. next?" the brunette asked, swallowing hard as she tried to regain her breath. Jax didn't seem to notice her tired state - much to her relief - as he rubbed his stubbled chin in thought.

"Well, I think it would be best if we pair up and take turns practicing casting spells and dodging or defending them," the Red Rider decided, looking at Rise and James. "Any preferences?"

Airship

Darcy raised an eyebrow at Arya's denials, following her gaze up to where the cameras were. He gave a derisive snort, muttering how it wouldn't make much of a difference anyway.

"Ooh, touchy, touchy," the man laughed. "Lighten up, sugar. You're basically screwed at this point. Might as well have a little fun with it."

Of course, it was plain enough to see that Arya was far too shaken up about her circumstances to do anything of the sort, unlike her companion.

"Oh, I'm a dangerous conspirator, I am," Darcy said with mocking casualness as he returned to picking his nails, "Apparently all you need to do is complain about the Army while playing cards with some of the boys before you're considered an anarchist. Go figure."

The man gave a sigh and laid back on the floor, hands behind his head, as though he were merely relaxing out in a grassy park or at the beach.

"If you're not going enjoy yourself, you might as well relax. There won't be much of that once we get there," he advised her before shutting his eyes and beginning to hum a jaunty tune.

--------------------------------

Barracks, Medical Wing

Lancar's healing session lasted much longer than he'd anticipated - although that had been wishful thinking to begin with. The pain had been quite substantial, though Lancar had done his best not to show it; he wasn't one to complain.

"Geez, LT, you look like a mess," Sasha said, sounding concerned. The extent of the lieutenant's injuries was worse than she'd anticipated; once more, she was forced to come to grips with the fact that on any mission one of the squad might perish.

"It looks worse than it is," Lancar lied, unable to help feeling a little sorry for making her worry. Finally, after several Diarama spells, his injuries had been tended to, and he was allowed to put back on his shirt, tie, and jacket.

"Thank goodness for Dia spells," he sighed, nodding in thanks to the medic before heading over to the others with Sasha close behind. As he did, he could hear Aera's sudden outburst, and he instantly felt concerned.

"Aera?" he wondered, hurrying over as she explained her injury. "You need to get that looked at by the medic. Sorry, Daemond, but a Dia spell doesn't work on cursed wounds."

Aera's stubborn streak on such matters was unforuntate, but he knew she wouldn't refuse an order from him.

"That's an order," the lieutenant said firmly, gazing hard at her over the top of his glasses. "In the meantime, the rest of you can head back to the lounge. I'll wait for Aera."

Sasha pursed her lips but relented, leading the way out before Lancar turned and followed Aera to the examination room where the medic was waiting. He was going to make sure she got those wounds look at.

Arya bit her lip at his reply. She didn't want to believe it. There had to be some kind of misunderstanding here. She wasn't a criminal and the last thing she wanted was to hurt and betray what had become her family. But what about her other family? Instantly her thoughts went to Lisa. Arya wanted to save her too. Afterall she was the only thing she had left with her old life.

I have to stay strong, she thought and interwinded her hands because she was so keyed up and just wanted to run away from the this problem. However, confined in the cell like she was, she was not going anywhere any time soon.

Instead she focused on what Darcy had to say. Not that she was particularly interested, but at least it would take her mind off her own problems for a little while.

"I think they are right, you know," she said slowly, her voice suddenly not so broken anymore. "The army gives stability to Kaddath and it is their job to keep the order. Anyone who speaks against that, should at least be talked to, to make sure they are no threat to the peace of this land."

When he laid down, Arya leaned her head back and looked up at the ceiling. There was no way she could go to sleep now. Too many thoughts ran through her head and one scene kept repeating over and over again. Raidon's hard grey eyes piercing into his, showing no mercy and no emotion. Didn't their meetings before mean anything?

Rather unwillingly, James followed Rise and Jax as they ran their laps. He did notice some improvement to yesterday. At least something good had come from it. Rise on the other hand looked like she could already take a break.

"I don't have any preferences," James said and ruffled his blonde hair. "I do think that I lack in defense more than in offense. When they teach you in the army, they focus more on offensive usage of magic, attacks and such, depending on your strain. Instead of teaching you how to defend, because that's what people with a passive strain are for," for the last part, his voice took a bitter note, showing how much he disagreed with that practice.

"So if you want to come at me, go ahead," he added encouragingly. "I'm sure I could learn a thing or two."

"Maybe you got the wrong impression of me then." Keynes muttered in response to Jane, although it came out sounding a bit darker than he'd intended. He quickly went back to his breakfast when Alex distracted her attention though, as if trying to bury his thoughts in his meal. Last night had been much longer than he would have liked...

Across the room, Lisa frowned at the exchange going on while she nursed her cup of coffee. The army gearing up wasn't something she wanted to discuss over breakfast. Actually, it wasn't something she wanted to discuss, ever... Talking about the army reminded her of Arya, of what she left behind...

As they made their way into the training room, Lisa stepped in with the rest, jogging at a steady pace. It wasn't the same pace that Jax set, but it was what she normally ran in the mornings, and she was comfortable with it. No sense in wearing herself out before they even got started.

Will looked at them all going around the track and went pale, gripping his side. "Definitely not happening..." He muttered, opting to warm up with pushups instead.

Snow's Garage

Elizabeth ignored the unspoken question that was written all over Roy's face. She didn't feel like explaining herself, and it was honestly better for him to think she was an axe murderer or something. Anything was better than him mistakenly thinking she was Snow's girlfriend.

She looked somewhat confused at the exchange between the two men, but Elizabeth didn't voice her concerns. Was Snow really that bad with money? From the way Roy talked, it sounded like Snow couldn't hold onto an honest living to save his life... Well, maybe that's why his life was in such disarray, although Elizabeth didn't think he really needed a reason. Life should be bad for the person who took everything from her.

It took her a moment to realize that she'd been lost in her own thoughts while the discussion had finished, and Roy was addressing her. "I'll keep an eye on him." She replied, and she would. Watching his back was a wonderful excuse to put a knife in it. Elizabeth couldn't help but laugh at his parting shot though. "I wouldn't loan him a penny. He already owes me more than he'll ever be able to pay." And that was the cold, hard truth.

With Roy gone, she just needed to confirm a few things with Snow, and then she could go back to the compound. She needed a shower in the worst way, and a few hours beating on a punching bag wouldn't hurt her either, although the bag might not appreciate it too much.

"I'm going with you." She said as she stepped back upstairs and into Snow's kitchen. It wasn't a question.

When Lizzy arrived back upstair, Snow was kneeling on the floor with a rag in his hands. He was busy cleaning up the blood and a distinctive smell of bleach hung in the room. There was a plastic bag with his bloody clothes next to him and the blood smeared envelope that had caused this whole mess laid on the table.

Snow let a few seconds pass after Lizzy's statement and then got up, looking at her. "I know," he said. The invitation from Roy was for two, but he didn't tell her. It was actually necessary that she was coming, as much as he hated to admit it and with her adorable stubbornness, he had expected her to demand this. "Plus, having a girl with me, will give me more credibility," he grinned at her teasingly and threw the bloody rag in the plastic bag.

Still shirtless, he grabbed a cup and filled it with coffee. He was calmer, apparently smoking a few cigarettes had improved his mood and he sat down at the table. "The event starts tomorrow morning, but I need you to come by here later in the afternoon today. There's something important you don't want to miss," his expression revealed nothing for once. Snow had the feeling, judging from past experience, that Lizzy wouldn't like what they were going to do and he was pretty sure she wouldn't show up if he told her beforehand. Surprisingly, he didn't add any joke, rude comment or teasing innuendo, but instead kept his mouth shut for once.

As much as he tried to hide it, he still looked tired and contrary to popular belief, he did take his health more serious than it looked. After a quick assessment of his condition, he realized pretty soon that even a good nights sleep would not help him recover completey by tomorrow. He would need Lizzy's help and the first step for that was to teach her how to ride a motorcycle.

"Anything else?" he asked sarcastically and stood up, eyeing the shower.

"Hmm.... may be I should check that story...." he muttered to himself. As he reached his room, he sat on the bed, feeling the comfort that bed was providing him. "Oh sorry Aera..." Daemond responded to Lancar's comment in rather shock, as Daemond held has hands in front of him in a defensive manner with him a little embarrass since he acted like he knew what he was doing when he attempted to treat her.

Well, he might as well learn from his mistakes while he's here, otherwise he won't be able to protect his group the next time they get hit like by a curse like that. So, for right now he would just need to continue what he was studying since that would be the best idea for the time being. Though in all honesty, he was probably more annoyed by the fact he looked like a complete idiot and needed to make up for it at the moment... but it did help him focus at least.

"What Dia spell would work for an injury like this then?" Daemond questioned, as he looked at the rest of the squad curiously. Though with Lancar's statement, he knew that he could head back to the lounge for now, so Daemond worked his way back to the lounge to hopefully get that long needed rest from the exhausting mission.

Aera (Medical Wing)

"It's alright, and the spell would be Amrita or Posumundi I believe." Aera responded with an obedient nod, as she quickly turned towards Lancar's direction with that same emotionless expression. With her walking over to the medical team in a formal manner again to get the wound checked on with her holding out her hand for the medical team to see.

Though inside Aera's head she was rather confused and her emotions were going a little crazy, she didn't think that someone like her would need medical attention, but apparently to someone like the lieutenant believed she was valuable enough. Sure, it would help her out with the next mission, but she never really thought that she was too useful in the first place. But! She has been getting better she knew that, so maybe the lieutenant actually saw potential in her then? Still, it was an order for her wounds to get checked out, so she wasn't about to politely ask to not get healed now... it would just look weird and her reasons were stupid...

Once Aera held out her hand, she listened carefully to the person treating it with focus to make sure that every operation was done correctly out of habit due to her tense state right now. This wasn't a bad wound, so hopefully it would just be a quick heal and she wouldn't have to burden these trained healers for long.

Jax listened to James and Alex' explanations of their experience level. Rise remained silent, watching him expectantly.

"Well, it seems like James needs to learn to use his spells more defensively, and Alex needs to learn to be more offensive with them. So why don't you guys make a pair then," Jax suggested, nodding to them. "I don't think facing someone with the same strain is as useful anyway."

Jax turned to Rise, causing her face to flush with both excitement and apprehension.

"All right, Rise, think you can handle me?" Jax said, smiling. "I'm going to push you hard."

Rise swallowed nervously but nodded, pulling her fans out.

"Let's do it then," she answered, her reply being rewarded with Jax's smile widening.

Police Airship and HQ

Raidon's brows furrowed as he watched the interaction between Arya and the criminal in the hold. By all accounts, she did not act like someone who had pro-Legion or anarchist views; her speech on the Army stabilizing Kaddath made that certain. However, he could not simply erase her crimes. But he'd deal with that later. He cut off the feed as he heard Darcy snort derisively before lapsing back into silence. The police chief leaned back in his seat, closing his eyes as his mind worked through all the plans that were to follow.

--------------------------------

Upon arriving back at police headquarters, the prisoners were hauled out of the hold and into the building, marched down to the detention level where cells lined the walls. The policemen marched before and behind the prisoners, with Raidon bringing up the rear. None too kindly, the detainees were shoved into their cells, which were surprisingly clean and neat, though dismally grey and windowless.

"Can we get room service here? I'm quite famished, you know," Darcy said in a posh voice, earning him a hit to the face by one of the men.

"You'll get your dinner at the appointed hour, and you'll be grateful you get food at all, scum," the man snarled, slamming the cell door shut. When Arya was put in her cell, the guard paused, studying her for a moment.

"The Chief will have you escorted up to his dining quarters when it's time," he said, giving her a cold look before slamming the door shut and walking away. Darcy, who had once more found himself in a cell across from Arya, threw himself down on his bed and whistled.

"Maybe he's not so immune to the feminine wiles after all," he commented, raising an eyebrow. "And here I was hoping we might break bread together."

--------------------------------

Taurus Barracks

Cash and Carrie were in the lounge, idly laying on the sofas, when Daemond entered. Both looked up, watching his progress through the room.

"Yo, Pup," Cash called, waving him over. "Talk to us."

Carrie continued to file her nails as the other ensign came over, while Cash swiveled around to prop his feet on the coffee table.

"So, you got any lady friends, Pup?" the female twin asked casually, not looking up from her work.

--------------------------------

Lancar watched from the corner as Aera received her healing treatment, brows furrowed. He just couldn't understand why she wouldn't have said anything about her injuries. It bothered him so much that as she finished and the two left the ward, he stopped her in the middle of the hallway.

"Aera, why wouldn't you ask to get your injuries looked at?" he asked, the tone of his voice leaving no room for anything but the truth.

Elizabeth was torn inside by Snow's instant acceptance of her statement. Part of her was breathing a sigh of relief because she wouldn't have to deal with his attitude over it, but something else inside her was throwing up a lot of warning flags at the fact he hadn't tried to fight her on this. His reasons hardly sounded like a good enough reason to agree so easily. So, did he have some kind of hidden reason to want her around at the casino? She shook her head to push the thought away. It was better not to dwell on it, and if it came back to bite her later, she'd just kick him or something.

Surprise was thinly masked on her face when he requested she be back at his place again during the afternoon. So far, he'd shown no interest in having her around. In fact, up until now, it had been quite the opposite. He couldn't seem to care less about her most times, and at others, he seemed like he just wanted her to be someone else's problem.

"I can be back around six..." She said carefully, clearly a little apprehensive at the idea of coming back, especially since he seemed more serious than usual. Given the choice between the asshole he usually was and the serious person in front of her, she'd take the asshole any day of the week. She was comfortable with abrasive, and this was anything but...

Some of her discomfort left when he asked if she'd need anything else in a more normal tone, and she couldn't help but reply. "Yeah. Don't take any medication without telling me about it for the next day or two, and try to keep your smoking to under a pack a day for that time as well. Otherwise, you'll be cursing me again while I hold you down and treat you for infection." She snapped before turning on her heel and stepping out of the garage. A shower would go a long way in getting her day back on track. Yeah, a shower and a short nap sounded wonderful right now...

Finally they arrived and Arya got up in her cell before they opened the hold. With as much dignity as before, she walked out her cell and into the row of prisoners that were escorted to their cells.

It was degrading to have to walk in the midst of all these criminals and Arya never lifted her eyes to look at them. A short walk later, she was shoved roughly into her cell. Catching herself on the wall, she looked back at the guard who told her that Raidon would meet her for dinner.

"I don't have to…," she started to say, but the guard was gone before she could reply anything substantial. Once again, Darcy ended up across from her, but this time, she just ignored him and climbed onto the bed.

There was too much in her head for sleep, but at least she would have it comfortable when thinking about the future.

Snow's Garage

"Sure sure," he grumbled, not even listening properly when Lizzy gave him instructions. He didn't really care about that and his mind was focused on the shower already. The warm water relaxed his muscles and felt good on his cold skin. Unwilling to turn the water off after he was done, he stayed in the shower until the water became cold. Only then did he exit the small room and walked into his bedroom to get some fresh clothes.

Before getting dressed, he took a closer look at damage on his body. The wound was hardly visible anymore and he had to admit that girl did a pretty good job. A thin line was the only thing that reminded him of all the pain and it would become a small scar, one of many that covered his body.

Back in the kitchen his fixed himself something to eat and soon after he was at the table, digging into a huge portion of pasta.

Suddenly there were stairs on the step and Snow looked up. Tony himself stepped inside the room.

"What happened?" Tony didn't sound worried, quite the opposite. His voice had a dominating and demanding tone in it.

Snow shrugged and pushed the bloody envelope towards Tony, who walked over the to the table and sat down. His fingers traced the blood on the envelope and he looked at Snow expectantly.

"Whoever wanted this is probably dead by now," Snow said with his mouth full and scooped up another fork full of pasta. "I'm not going there again. Find someone else."

Tony nodded and picked the envelope up. "Are you okay?" Again, there was no concern in his voice.

"Alive, no thanks to you," Snow replied, sounding a little annoyed. "And get my bike back. It's one block south of the drop location and I'm not walking there."

Again, Tony nodded and picked up his phone. After making a quick call, he got up. "It should be here in an hour," he said calmly. "Call me when you're better." And with that, he walked to the stairs and disappeared from view.

"Bastard," Snow muttered and focused on his pasta again. "He could at least apologize."

James nodded and turned to face Alex. They moved a little away to give Jax and Rise some room. At first James entertained the hope to be paired up with Rise, but soon he realized, he would never be able to fight her properly and would never go all out on her, afraid she would get hurt. So maybe this was a better arrangement.

"Let's see what you've got," he challenged Alex and moved his hand invitingly. He knew Alex was able to use the first two spells of both, the Mudo and the Hama strain. That would probably either blind him or make him feel darkness and nothingness. The trick was to not rely on his sight so much, but more on his other sense and intuition.

Still, he was unsure if his reactions were quick enough to cast a defense.

Area (Taurus Barracks)

A calm light breezed through Aera's body, as medics told her that the curse was lifted, and Aera quickly nodded her head in thanks. The medics then politely told Aera to have a good day in a warm and kind manner that threw her off-guard a bit, but Aera again just simply waved goodbye with her stiffly walking out the door, as the sound of Lancar's footsteps slowly followed her like some sort of horror movie.

Expect it wasn't nearly as bad, she was probably just over thinking things and making herself anxious, but she couldn't help but feel a hint of guilt when she heard the lieutenant in the background. Still, it wasn't like she did anything wrong, she just didn't want to make the medics heal such a small wound.

"Wha..." Aera stated rather in shock when Lancar actually grabbed her arm in a stern manner stopping her in the middle of the hallway, as she turned around looking rather confused and surprised that Lancar actually grabbed her. Then Lancar actually talked in a serious tone like that... it was like that one time when Lymond brought out of his weapon against the higher army offical, which made the rest of Aera's words get stuck in her throat until the first thing in response to Lancar's question entered Aera's stunned mind.

"I wasn't worth their time..." Aera mumbled rather depressed, as she naturally looked down at the group at that moment like she was being scolded by some sort of parent with a look of pain on her face.

That wasn't what she wanted to say at all, how could she be so stupid to say something like that! Now this situation is going to get a lot worse and Lancar is going to think she is nothing but a weak individual who can't handle the missions before her. Why couldn't she just say it wasn't that bad of an injury or something? But this... This was just asking for it.

Daemond (Taurus Barracks)

The woozy Daemond walked into the lounge not wanting to deal with all that much more for today, but the moment he noticed Cash and Carrie casually sitting in the middle of the lounge he perked up a bit. He rose his shoulders high and looked as wide awake as he could, even if there were probably still dark circles under his eyes, but at least he could look kind of awake. Though, what he didn't expect was them to actually talk to him, because they usually seemed to be rather isolated from the rest of the group.

"What is it?" Daemond asked curiously, as he walked over to them holding back his look of complete shock from such a question that was posed by Carrie.

Hm, a lady friend, he never actually thought of that in the army. He had always been more preoccupied with the actual fighting and such, and didn't really consider anything more intimate. I mean, who could think of something like that when their lives were on the line everyday, it didn't really make much sense to him. So, his answer was pretty obvious.

"No, why do you ask?" Daemond asked in return to the emotionless and not caring Carrie.

"Looks like it's just us left then..." Lisa said, glancing in Will's direction.

He frowned and slowly pushed himself to his feet. "I won't pull punches..."

She swallowed, but didn't back down. There was no point in the training if he did pull his punches. She had to be ready to deal with whatever he could dish out. "Let's get started then."

Neither of them was armed at the moment, which left Lisa feeling like she was at a disadvantage, but that was hardly what worried her. She'd only seen Will use magic once, and she hadn't gotten a good look at it. So, she had no idea what to expect from him.

Almost lazily, Will extended his hand, and a circle of lights swirled around it. "Tentarafoo." The lights swirled and twisted through the air, surrounding Lisa on all sides. She held up her hands as if it was any defense, but the lights collided with her head, drowning her reality in a flood of muddled colors and bright flashes.

She was vaguely aware of Will stepping closer to her, but the pain ripping through her skull at the moment was consuming almost all of her attention. "Garu..." The word came out weakly, but the effects of the spell were evident in the wind that suddenly rippled through the room. Unfortunately, Lisa had lost track of where Will was in the wash of color, and her spell sailed in between Rise and Jax, rippling their clothes before slamming into the wall on the far side of the room and kicking up a cloud of dust.

After some brief spell practice, Aegis returned to the kitchen for a quick lunch that Jane had whipped up. Then, it was right back to the field for more magic practice.

"Zio!"

"Agi!"

The lightning bolt was met by a fireball in midair, canceling out the two spells in a small explosion of heat and static. Rise panted slightly, arms tensed. Every time she saw Jax's arm move to its conjuring position, she had herself prepped to conjure as well to counter his move.

"You're getting pretty good at your opponent's moves," Jax said, nodding. "You always want to make sure you watch for signs of conjuring. It's never good to let an opponent get off a spell you aren't ready for."

Just as he finished, Jax leaped up and brought his right fist up in front of himself. Rise gave a small gasp and drew her fan up in front of her in response, conjuring up a magic circle in front of her.

"Zionga!" the Red Rider called, punching at the circle. A shockwave of static electricity errupted along the ground, shooting quickly toward Rise.

"Agilao!" Rise shouted in response, sending a wave of fire searing across the room to crash into the static shockwave with a thunderous bang. Rise flinched but kept from shielding her eyes. She didn't want to give Jax a chance to make a move while she wasn't looking. From his smile of approval, she knew that had been a smart move.

"You're a fast learner, Rise. I'm impressed," Jax said, folding his arms over his chest. Rise beamed in response before looking around to see how the others were faring.

Taurus Barracks

Lancar sighed deeply, bothering intensely by Aera's response. He knew she had low self-esteem, but this was far worse than he had ever expected.

"Listen to me," he said, taking her hands firmly in own. "You are a member of Squad 34. You're equally essential to our success as every other member we have. Not only that, you're a soldier in the Grand Army of Kaddath, and that means you're part of the reason that this country is still full of peace and order. No soldier is expendable or worthless. We all contribute to this army and this country."

The lieutenant gazed into the pale, unseeing eyes, framed by the vivid red hair, and swallowed hard.

"But most importantly, you're a human being, Aera. Your life has worth and value. You're unique and special, with your own talents, your own quirks, your own charms. That can't be replicated," Lancar said quietly. "And anything that can't be replicated is priceless."

The hallway was quite silent and unoccupied besides them, and Lancar only then became conscious of their position. He gently released her hands, taking a step away.

"Now, let's get back to the others," he said, his voice back to its usual tone. "And let that be the end of that kind of thinking, all right?"

-------------------------------

Carrie gave a snort and cast a glance over at Cash, ignoring Daemond's question.

"I told you he was virgin," she quipped, returning to filing her nails. Cash rolled his eyes, pulling out a knife and beginning to polish it.

"Not like that was your most risky bet," he shot back, ignoring Daemond's presence as well.

Aera didn't know what to expect after she made that comment, she expected some sort of awkward silence or some the pity she had received time and time again when her worth was brought up in a conversation when she was younger, but what he didn't expect was such a passionate reaction.

The moment Lancar grabbed Aera's hand a cold chill went down her spine, as her mind immediately told her to pull away at that moment. But something warm about this whole situation made her not want to pull away at the same time, it was a comforting feeling that she didn't want to give up a again. And her expression didn't let down her feelings at all, as her face filled with utter shock with her checks blushing from something that she didn't see coming in the slightest.

"I understand Lancar, and thanks." Aera stated in a rather quiet tone, as she raised her head slightly to show that she genuinely meant it and wasn't in one of her emotionless states yet again that allowed Lancar to see her rather shocked but happy state. With her relaxing her hands down at her side when Lancar let go of her hands like a gentle comforting breeze that just drifted past her and refreshed her, as she stood there not backing off like she wanted to feel that breeze again.

"Yes sir." Aera stated with a passionate salute, as she turned towards the main lounge and began walking back to the rest of the group to meet up with them, as Aera looked in the opposite direction from Lancar letting a warm smile pass through her lips out of the lieutenants gaze of course.

Taurus Barracks (Daemond)

"That's what you all wanted to talk to me about?" Daemond asked with a heavy sigh, as he looked at the two emotionless duo in front of him, his face bewildered with how two people like them even exist, as he shook his head and continued to say in an exhausted tone "And here I thought you wanted to actually talk about something meaningful."

At that point, Daemond heard the sound of footsteps in the background with him turning around to see the emotionless Aera and the strict lieutenant walking their way with Daemond looking even more bewildered at this point, but he still waved in the direction of the two until he slowed down his wave for a second to realize that Aera couldn't see the wave like always.

"Hey you two, you're looking better Aera." Daemond called out to the two of them, as he sat down at a nearby couch that was a fair distance away from Cash and Carrie by taking a few quick steps back with a relaxing sigh when he did so.

Xennox opened his eyes, and strangely he was not in his room. However, he was standing inside of weapon workshop. Oddly, the workshop gave him familiar feeling; it gave him the sense of belonging. "Brother, brother!" said a voice of young girl, and automatically Xennox replied. "Yes? What is it?" and he was surprised how his voice sounded so...warm. As Xennox turned his face to look at the girl who called him 'brother', and as if he knew the girl so well, he walked towards the girl. Then before he could reach the girl, just like a broken mirror, the place started to crack.

Xennox quickly stood up from his bed, and his eyes were open checking his environment once more. He was not in the workshop, but was inside the room that was assigned to him. He gave out short sigh, and straightened his uniform. "What a weird dream...Hmph..." Then he went out from his room and headed to the lunge.

James closed his eyes in the very second he saw Alex's fist clench. However he opened them again as soon as he heard the spell. Since Mudo caused darkness he couldn't see anything anyways.

Instead of panicking, he pushed his hands together and conjured a magic circle himself. "Mazio," he called out and send five sizzling lightning bolts towards where he's seen Alex last. He scattered them, so even if Alex moved left or right to attack him, chances were high that a lightning bolt would get in his way.

Then James took a step back until he felt the wall behind him. It was a disadvantageous position but it gave him a sense of orientation when his vision and hearing could not.

A short while later the spell wore off and James blinked to adjust to the light.

At some point Arya moved up from the bed and started pacing through the room. Up and down, up and down. She felt uneasy and being trapped in a small cell like this didn't help in calming her down. The more time she had to think about everything, the more her worry increased.

Eventually she stopped in front of the bars and looked at Darcy who seemed very relaxed.

"How can you be so calm?" she asked and wound her fingers around the cold iron bars to hold them still.

While the others fought around them, Will and Lisa also seemed to be making progress. Taking a more passive role, Will had stopped using his spells to afflict Lisa until she'd made a move, and then he would use them to counter her intentions by crippling her in some way. It was the complete opposite of what he was used to doing, and went a far leap from his philosophy of 'the best defense is a kick ass offense'.

Despite getting off a few good shots, Lisa was having trouble keeping up. Continued attacks on her mind and her body from the inside were beginning to affect her psyche, and that was also becoming obvious to the untrained eye. As long as she didn't complain, Will would keep going though, gaining a new respect for the girl with each new infliction she took.

Snow's Garage

After her shower and short nap, Elizabeth found herself on her way back to Snow's place. It was actually still an hour or so until she'd said she'd be there, but that wasn't long enough for a good training session, and she'd been unable to sleep anymore than she already had. Somehow, her pillow just wasn't as comfortable as... Her eyes widened and Elizabeth shook her head to deny where that thought had been going. She was so not going to think like that tonight, or any other night for that matter.

Without realizing it, she'd already arrived at the garage. There was no sense in turning around and wandering the grungy streets around here. So, she raised her hand to knock on the steel door above her. Before she actually touched it, she brought her hand back down though. What was the point in knocking when the door was wide open?

"Snow?" She called out as she stepped inside. "You didn't manage to get your sorry ass killed after I left did you?"

It seemed that everyone was doing quite well with the spell exercise so far. Nodding in satisfaction, Jax pulled out one of his special bars and tore the wrapper off to take a large bite.

"You doing all right?" Rise asked, looking concerned. The Red Rider nodded, giving her a disarming smile.

"No worries. I can feel it acting up before it becomes critical, so as long as I can get the calories I need in time it's all good," he explained. Rise's tension lifted a bit, though she still looked worried.

"I still can't believe they put that inside of you.." she said quietly, looking away. "It's so.. wrong."

Jax felt a twinge of guilt at the sight of her looking so concerned for his well-being. He slowly walked over to her and brought his hand up to her face.

"Hey, if I can use it to help Kaddath, it's not so bad, right?" Jax said, turning her face gently to look at his. Rise felt her cheeks flush as she gazed up at him, but just as quickly as it had come, she felt his hand slide away from her.

"I'm not so thrilled about what it did to my hair though, but I guess I can live with it," the silver-haired man said lightly. Rise blinked in surprise, never having given the color of his hair much thought.

"The synth seraphs.. they turn your hair white?" she asked, recalling that both the White Rider and Black Rider had also had silver-white hair. Jax nodded, taking the last bite of his bar.

"Yeah. Used to be blonde, like.. like Miki. Now I look like an old man," the Red Rider said, forcing a chuckle. Rise smiled and brought her hand up to run it through the close-cropped silver hair.

"I think it suits you," the brunette said sweetly. For the first time, Jax felt himself growing self-conscious of their proximity, and slowly backed away.

"We should probably have you practice your Dia strain as well," he suggested. "Hit me with one of your Agi spells. Then you can practice healing the damage."

Rise goggled at him, unable to believe he would suggest using himself as a practice dummy for her.

"Are you nuts? I'm not going to hurt you like that," she said, refusing him adamantly. Jax sighed, though he couldn't help but smile a bit too. He'd known she wouldn't go for that, but it was worth trying. It would be easier than the alternative.

"All right then. Guess it's up to me," he replied, pulling the knife out from the pouch strapped to his leg. Before Rise could protest, he'd set his teeth and slashed it across his arm.

"Jax!" she screamed, rushing over to him and grabbing at the arm. Though he grimaced, Jax didn't seem to distraught about it.

"Trust me, I've had worse," he said assuringly as she cast her Dia spell over the wound. As she slowly traced over the wound with her glowing hands, her eyes drifted to the numerous scars on Jax's body, a testament to the veracity of his words.

Praetorate Council Chamber

As Commander Grey entered the room and took her place, the eyes of Commanders Chastenay and Lecarde, as well as the High General, followed her to her seat. Commander Valkenheiyn was conspicuously absent from his seat, though a monitor showed him watching from remote location, eyes fixed on the knot he was no doubt tieing and untieing in his hands.

"The conquering hero has returned," Chastenay quipped, smoothing his goatee. "You did a rather fine job at settling that messy business at the Water Treatment Facility, I must say."

"Now now, Chastenay," Adalia said, raising a hand to silence him. "Commander Grey did all that she could, I'm sure."

Chastenay gave a rather derisive snort at this before sitting back in his chair, waiting for the meeting to convene.

Police HQ - Prison Block

Darcy, who had been reclining peacefully on his bed as he idly flipped through a deck of cards, shrugged slightly in response to Arya's words.

"Not like getting worked up will help me in any way," he said passively, propping his booted feet up on the bed post. There was a beeping noise as the security door at the far end slid open and a policeman entered, moving down toward Arya's cell.

"Let's go," he said brusquely to her, motioning for her to follow. Darcy slid out of bed and swept an imaginary hat from his head to place it over his heart, as though in mourning for the deceased. Then just as abruptly, he gave her a wink and flopped back onto his bed. As they passed through the security door and it slid shut, Arya could hear him call after her.

"I'm expecting some entertaining tales when you get back. Don't disappoint!"

Arya was led down the hallway to a lift, which transported her and the policeman up to two floors, where they got out. The lieutenant was led down the corridor and brought into a well-furnished but imposing dining room, with the table set for only one person. Raidon sat at the opposite end of the table, his expression impassive.

"You may go," he told the policeman, who saluted before shutting the door and leaving the two alone.

"Sit. Eat," he ordered, indicating with a nod of the head toward the various trays of food set between them.

Taurus Barracks

Lancar was surprised by Aera's geniune emotion, displayed at hearing his words. Not only that, her use of his first name caught him quite off-guard. He was pleased though, both at her warming up to him and her openness to his message. The two walked down to the lounge in peaceful silence, where they found Daemond and the twins waiting for them.

"Yes, Aera and I are back to top-shape," he reported. "Now, I need to go report to Captain Colt, and then I want to try to get to work on my painting. I hope I can trust the four of you not to do anything to reckless."

He gave them a stern look before heading out, leaving Aera, Daemond, and the twins to occupy themselves.

"So.. anyone up for a game?" Cash asked, looking at them. Carrie smirked and tossed her nail file away.

"How about truth or dare?" she suggested, looking between Aera and Daemond. No doubt she was devising some uncomfortable questions and scenarios.

"If I did, I would've come back to haunt you because of the shitty healing job you did," he replied lazily and got up from his couch. He tried to look and sound awake, but didn't quite succeed since her arrival had woken him from being dead asleep.

Snow had worked on his motorcycle after it arrived most of the afternoon and only decided to take a short nap a little while ago. Since Lizzy arrived so early, getting a full hour of sleep was cut short.

Walking over to her, he lit a cigarette on the way and then grinned at her. "Tomorrow might be rather dangerous, so I need someone I can rely on, so you will have to learn how to ride a motorcycle," he said and watched her carefully. Of course he had noticed how tense she was the times she sat behind him.

What he said was partly true, but in addition to that, he couldn't help teasing her. There was also a part of him that genuinely wanted to help her get over that tension and fear, but he hid that part well while he explained.

"It's a modified racing bike. Clutch, gas, brakes," he indicated on the motorcycle and pushed it around so it faced the door. "Start the engine, pull the clutch and shift into first gear with your foot. Then let the clutch out slowly and give a little release on the gas handle," he explained.

"You break it, you pay for it," he added and took another pull on his cigarette. The teasing expression had stayed on his face throughout the explanation and he looked at her expectantly.

Police HQ

Arya took a step back and straightened up when the security door at the far end opened. She followed the security guard, glancing one last time towards Darcy before passing through the door. The way seemed longer than it probably was, the lift moving incredibly slow. Not once did Arya look around, afraid she would show her fear.

They entered a large hall with a dining room table. Arya was awed. In her life, she had not see many of those and despite her predicament, she wondered why something like this would exist in a police building.

Raidon was at the end of the table and she noticed that apparently he was not intent on eating. This only increased her nervousness. She saluted and then sat down, keeping herself a the edge of the chair.

Her eyes examined the food and now for the first time she noticed that she was hungry. Everything look delicious. Arya swallowed nervously. He was just going to sit there to watch her eat? His cold grey eyes pierced into her softer ones and she quickly looked down. Still she made no motion to take any of the food.

"---" she wanted to say something, but even in her head it sounded foolish. "With all due respect, Sir, I do not believe i can eat anything in a situation like the current one," she said finally, even though it wasn't the question she had intended to ask.

Elizabeth initially scowled at Snow when he responded. She'd done a good job of patching him up, especially considering the extent of his internal injuries in addition to the external ones. That would teach her to be nice to someone out of the goodness of her heart. She probably would have smacked him around a bit, but he still looked like ****. No point in beating up on the injured...

Or at least, that's what she'd been thinking until he spoke again. In a fraction of a second, Elizabeth's annoyance turned to terror, leaving her looking like a deer in the headlights. There was a long silence where she just looked at him like he was crazy before she spoke. "You want me to WHAT?!?" Her eyes moved to the bike propped up against the rack, and the mixture of fear and distaste was evident on her face. "I don't... You can't..." She gasped for words, not even listening to his description of the bike.

"I don't even have a license..." Elizabeth finished dumbly. There wasn't anything else to be said. She didn't like vehicles. Period. And she had no intention of starting now...

Aera (Taurus Barracks)

"Ya, I'm feeling a lot better." Aera replied to Daemond with an emotionless nod but there was kindness in her voice that made her not sound like her normal self.

It also seemed that Cash and Carrie were in the room, which Aera picked up from their earlier comments that she could barely distinguish when she was walking towards the room, but she didn't really want her good mood spoiled so she kept most comments towards them to a minimum until she heard the comment from Lancar.

"We'll be fine, sir." Aera stated with a reassuring voice, as she half expected a snicker from Cash and Carrie the moment she said that but it didn't come thankfully, as she let the tenseness die down the moment Lancar began to leave the room thinking of how nice these painting could be instead to calm herself down.

"Wait what? No!" Aera stated in shock to Cash and Carrie's comment with her quickly turning around to face the twins to only show her shock further, even if her expression was rather blank. But, it seemed as Aera didn't want to be in this situation anymore, as she began to walk over to her room almost immediately without another comment at a brisk pace utnil the voices of everyone behind her were drowned out from the door of her room shutting behind Aera.

Though, that never happened, as Aera found herself stopped yet again by somebody's hand, but it wasn't Cash and Carrie since they were still sitting on the table behind Aera with their sinister and devious expressions probably on their face but it was the kinder and gentler grip from Daemond that presented a more serious state to this situation, one Aera state that Aera had hoped it wouldn't come to.

"What?" Aera asked in a curious but worried tone, as she turned her head towards the direction Daemond would be.

Daemond (Taurus Barracks)

"We should take them up on the offer, you know more squad synchronization?" Daemond whispered into Aera's ear in a very light tone that only someone with her hearing could hear, and Daemond of course with Daemond leaning in like they were holding some sort of secret meeting about a game of truth or dare.

After that, Daemond turned around to the devious twins, as he looked strong as ever, ready to take on this silly game of truth or dare. Though they were still missing one other squad member, and that would be Xennox who was probably somewhere in the lounge, maybe in his room? Hm, he would have to call out his name to see if he was still awake.

"Hey Xennox! Come out here!"Daemond called out, as he looked Cash and Carrie dead in the eye, as much as you could at this distance but still he ended up saying with conviction "I'll take you up on your game of truth or dare, bring it on!"

Aera (Taurus Barracks)

"You're doing this Daemond? Fine, I can't let you do this alone, even if it is a bad idea..." Aera muttered in an annoyed voice after Daemond's conviction filled statement with a woe as me look on her face, as she covered her eyes and shook her head like she didn't want to be here with her muttering even quiter at the end "And by bad, I mean absolutely horrible."

Still, she might as well have fun with the game and get revenge on Cash and Carrie if that was even possible, but there was one thing she was certain of.... It was very important that she would at least be able to get this straight before the game started, no matter what.

"I'm not going first though..." Aera stated almost as a command.
