So, I was at the hospital, laid out on the operation bed. The nurse injected some serum without informing me of what it was and what it would do. Few seconds later I sent a message to my Dad, informing me that they prepped me and I'm now waiting for the procedure.... A minute or two later, I realized I was no longer hooked up to the machines or have that breathing tube under my nostrils.

The nurse walks in and says that I am free to go. And I'm like, wait, what !? The it hit me, they must have given me a knock out drug. I looked at my watch and 50 Minutes had passed by.. someone had activated my stopwatch while I went under XD

Upon investigation, I was told that they injected me with the med to make my body a bit relaxed as to not feel the pain but surprisingly the low dosage was somehow too much for my body and it fell asleep.

Still if they had told me what they were doing beforehand. I could have told them to not give me any as I wanted to stay awake and fully aware, not even a little bit drowsy or "calm". I was drugged without consent


Anyhow, the point is, I didn't even realize when I fell asleep and woke up the next instant thinking not a single second had passed. Now that is freaky. No feeling of falling asleep. No dreaming. Just an instant time jump :0

Make one wonder, if death would be like that too. The body just dies and the next instant the soul wakes up in the future and everything is different.

That's an interesting story. What was the procedure, if you don't mind me asking?

I do think that's how death would be, actually.

I heard or read on the news that the scientists have started working on Hibernation/Stasis Pods for space travel.

I don't know. dreamless sleeping.. it just feels weird to me. When I normally sleep, I know I am going to sleep and the mind goes through all the REM cycles but instant sleep and instant waking up (the feeling of it).. it was not mentally comfortable (upon realizing what just happened).

Still, probably, going through the process multiple times, one might get used to it.

When you dream, it's like you are on a vacation, an adventure. Basically you sort of get some time off from your daily life. But after sleeping and waking up, just like that; the astronaut/passenger, etc, may feel more mentally drained.

Eg: You get into the space ship, start all the procedures, plot the course, then when it is time for the long haul, you go into your stasis pods. Next thing you know, A long time has elapsed, you are waking up and are close to your destination. But at the same time, you feel like no time has passed, but only are aware of the passage of lost time when you check the distance and elapsed time from your initial starting point.

The Brain wouldn't be rested. Body might be, sort off, but not the mind. It's like blinking. You shut your eyes and when you open it in the next second, you are at a new place in time and its back to work, work, work. No mental rest. Plus the body would feel a little wobbly as it re-adjusts its bearings.

Sorry, give me sometime for awhile, I lost the storyboard file that I had for DRO....

I feel so depressed right now....

So I really lost my storyboard and I need to come up with basic structure or else the story might go into infinite loophole....

Here are my suggestions....

1.Give me sometime to come up with some skeleton structure.... (It may take awhile as I do not have much time as I used to have when I was creating this RP)

2.We change the genre into much brighter sense and bring this RP somewhat close to its end (For instances, I had actually planned this to have 3 to 4 chapters worth RP, and we have not even finished with prologue that brings us to identifying real enemy for players... We are getting there though) In other words, we shoot for finishing it much earlier stage by removing some evil&good characters that I had intention to introduce as the story goes on (I lost them with the storyboard...In any case, by doing this method, we might end up finishing this RP way way earlier and faster :<)

3. Or we could just end this RP right here

What do you all think?....

And I am really sorry for my mistake, I never had intention of losing my storyboard... I must have misplaced it or deleted it accidentally as I clean up my pc for some space

Well, which way are you leaning?

if you want, you can leave it open ended for future. So when you do get time or remember stuff, you may continue from where you left off.

So, in that case, you can focus on starting any of your other RPs... if you got the time.

If not, then just let it all be or do whatever you feel comfortable with.

Number 2, perhaps?....

But I lost the confidence.... what if I screw it up so bad? I remember the ending to be semi-good and semi-bad ending... But can't remember all the details.....

I know I have two RPs that I have been constructing storyboard...

But I have not constructed enough details to start it... which is making me even sad....

Maybe I should come up with better way of creating storyboard... any tips??

Just take what you remember and try again. There's nothing wrong with messing up. It's not like this is going to be published. Just have fun with it. :0

I don't really know what you mean by storyboard. I just keep notes for rps in a Word document.

It's like how you put outline of your story into somewhat picture and notes : o
