Some criticise that if you know everything about the other person and then go in, then you're missing out on the chase or "where's the fun in it all" .

Well, I'll say to that, this is not some game. this is life we are talking about. Two people are going to spend an eternity together, make a family, live and grow old together. It is a very serious decision.

Going in primarily to feed your lust is the complete opposite of marriage, and commitment. Going in for lust is the reason why people break up later on and or don't respect each other.

If you are thinking of committing to someone then you got to think of everything, the future the now, where will it all lead and if you are ready to be responsible.

Once again, love is not a game. it is an aspect of life and you have to live with it and do right by it.

If you go in right, then everything will fall into place and it'll be smooth sailing for all. And you all will enjoy life with real love in it. Not infatuation, not pleasure, not lust.. but real love.

I agree, but it does feel a bit like you're violating someone's personal life if you find out things without permission.

no she isn't. She got some love in her life... she just have to grab on to it but have to make sure first if she is grabbing onto something solid or elusive

to balance it all, once you meet them, you tell everything about yourself to them and having enough plus points (common factors that both can appreciate) will cancel out the past and your new life will begin from that meeting. With an open book that both would know the contents off.

Well, it's true that starting off on the right foot is a lot easier if you already know what you have in common. Cause, unfortunately, it could turn out to be absolutely nothing.
