Black crusaders

This is copy and paste from old version, needs a lot of editing....

"The Aesela(ey/si/la) is the land located where past, present and future comes togather.
It is the land where time stopped forever for every race. Even short lived human beings are able to stay alive for over two-hundreds years."

1 F.D.(First Discovery): Time machine made by American Scientists broke down in the middle of time traveling and brought them to Aesela. Twelve scientists were on board; they were the very first human beings in Aesela.

2 F.D. : Humans met with the human-like race, which identified themselves as Elves.

3 F.D. : Asia United Science Technology Company made another time machine but it failed and brought giant time-travelling ship into Aesela. The ship contained about two-hundreds and ten scientists. Humans came togather and formed a village called 'Heaven'

4 F.D. : Humans came into contact with different races, other than elves. Such as Dragons, Cat-man, Orge, Dwarf, and etc.

7 F.D. : Since every race had their army, humans too decided to create great army to protect themselves.

9 F.D. : Marriage between different races became allowed by agreement of every races' leaders.

15 F.D. : Fear of war brought many villages together to form a country. And the fear became reality and the bloodshed of 13 years began; horrifying 13 years of the war, a.k.a 'The Bloody Thirteen'. It began quick and spread like wild fire.

28 F.D. : End of this year, the war stopped. The people of Aesela decided that it was foolish to drag the war any longer. So, without any winner, the war ended. Three huge villages luckily survived and everyone started their life from one of them.

31 F.D. : The three huge villages that survived the war became the center of Aesela and soon three different kingdoms were born from them.

35 F.D. : Again another war broke upon Aesela, a.k.a 'The Full Moon'

70 F.D. : The long war came to an end; the Aesela became one under the rule of human king named Zachira.

79 F.D. : Equality between the races once again established.

81 F.D. : King Zachira, the most beloved king, was killed by the Esta Van, who became the King afterwards.

83 F.D. : King Esta Van was killed by his brother Denusa, Denusa was crowned as a King.

84 F.D. : King Denusa killed every man in power, every person who could be threat to his throne.

85 F.D. : Rebelion rose up against King Denusa; King Denusa created special force called Black Crusaders to fight them.

86 F.D. ~ now : The war between the Frontiers and Black Crusaders goes on.

***************************

So, now, about the topic, Black Crusaders. Black Crusaders is not going to be all about the heroes and heroines. The players get to choose to be on one of the three factions; The Empire(Become one of the Black Crusaders to fight against Judgement), Mercenaries(Neutral Faction; fight for your own reasons and fight for the money. You are on your side) and Judgement(Become one of the frontiers to fight against the evil king and his army). When player decided his/her faction, player must write their post accordingly.

If he/she has chosen The Empire(which means the player has decided to become one of the Black Crusaders) as his/her main characters faction, the citizens of empire won't be so glad to see you. Most of them would be scared of you, others might even try to kill you. Frankly, not many people would welcome the Black Crusaders with wide open arms. The player's main character probably has to work hard to gain some support from them.

Secondly, if the main character is a mercenary, how people treat you depends on the actions of the main character and perhaps which side the main character works for.

Lastly if the main character is from the Judgement; the main character receives full support from the citizens and others who are against The Empire.

The faction can be change due to his/her character's of 'change of heart incident'. So basically, if player wants to change his/her side, the player could do so by writting a post why and how his/her character decided to change his/her side.

So, basically, this is what you are writting about: The development of your character(bad to good or bad to worse/good to better or good to bad)

The Factions

Mercenaries: They are the only neutral faction of this story. They work for the money, and fight for their own reasons. If Black Crusaders aren't what you want, and if you want more freedom than what rebels could offer you, this is the faction you want to be in. How this faction works, it's still a mystery. One thing is certain, your fellow mercenaries would not help you all the time; sometimes they could be your worse enemies on the battlefield, sometimes they are the one who you are going against.

Judgement: Created by Leon Asguard, Judgement is an organization created to change the fate of Aesela. It is run by the group called Frontiers, and its funds are supported by the Vampire Dukes and Orcs' cities. They usually hide themselves from Empire unless they need to fight. Night, they work; Day, they hide among the civilians and wait for their opportunities.

The Empire: Once, it was called United Aesela; it changed its name as King Denusa became its ruler. The Empire has huge and powerful army to do King Denusa's biddings. To keep up its great army and King Denusa's greed, the citizens of the Empire suffers from high taxes and poverty. Some say, King Denusa's vault has enough money to feed entire citizens of empire for 100 years. The King, to keep his life and money safe, has created Black Crusaders. Black Crusaders are formed by Alpion Zechs Ziranos Kurs[a.k.a Azzik], they are the elite force of King Denusa's army. Black Crusaders are all hand picked by Azzik, however, it is known that only few of them are as good as what the rumor says.

NPC

In this RP, NPCs do not stand for 'non player characters', in fact, in this RP, NPC stands for 'non primary characters'. This are the characters who every players could use as a prop to show how his/her character as evil, good or how RPer wants to show it. But certain interactions are going to happen when GM controls them.  Think of them as characters that could highlight your main character. They will be an example post to justify this further.

The Empire Read Red
The Judgement Read Yellow
The Mercenaries Read cyan;

Civilians:
They are citizens of the empire; some of them are helping rebels, some of them are scared of their king Denusa. Civilians can be bartender, shop keeper, people just walking by; every normal people are included in these catagory.

You could kill them for little excitement, or help them to get some support. Or torture them for information; however, the information about rebels are only reveal to you when I say so.

If you are from the Judgement, they are your provider. They will give you a room for free, if you need a place to hide. They will never betray you to the Empire easily, they might even give their life to make sure you are safe(But if they are tortured they might leak the information). In return you probably have to do 'something' for them. (No pain, no gain. Think 'something' as a side-quest in many rpg games. For an example, a citizen helped you out to get away from the Empire, in return you probably have to help him/her for similar worth.) When you have received help from the citizens I will PM you with one of the side-quests I have prepared. But, not all the time help from the citizens activates side quests.

The citizens of the Empire could be hostile or friendly towards the Mercenaries. It depends on which side the Mercenary fights for and against. If the Mercenary is fighting against the Judgement, citizens of the Empire won't be so friendly. In other words, if the Mercenary fights for Judgement, the citizens might give some support. It also depends on how your Mercenary character treats the citizens of the Empire. You treat them good, the citizens will treat you good too(Even if you are fighting for Empire). You treat them bad, they won't give you much support, even if you are with Judgement.

Bandits, robbers, and other criminal party:
For simple manslaughter you could use them as your tools, or you could use them to do some evil biddings of yours. It's totally up to you. You could use them to show off how your character is cruel or evil with the rule breakers. You could do whatever with them. If you want, you could send them to kill other black crusader as well. Or send them to kill other faction players.

(*WARNING: Remember this, if you ever sent them to kill other players, how fight goes isn't your control. But you could set when they will strike the player and their level of fighting ability. The player who is going to be attacked by this party must write the fighting scene considering the level of fighting ability set by other player. You must also remember that if your criminal party turned out to be the armatures, they will leave clues for the attacked players to find out who was their client.)

Judgement players could only fight them.

Mercenaries could use the criminal party just like Black Crusaders.

subordinates, soldiers of the Empire:
They are under your command; however, their loyalty lies with the king, not your Black crusader. They would disobey any order to harm their King Denusa. But, for subordinates, if you have created the profile that saying his/her loyalty lies to your black crusader, he/she will follow you till the end unless you want him/her to betray your Black crusader at some point. Creating profile for your subordinates is optional; you can control them without creating any profiles; however, if you do, you have servants loyal to you only. But if you don't, try not to give order like kill the king. They will definitely betray you.

There are your foes. Kill them with great prejudice. Most of them are fighting for the power and money. Very few of them may be fighting because they got no other choice. Just remember this, it's you or them.

They could be your foes or they could be your allies. If you are fighting for the Empire, you have large army to back you up in every battle. No army is larger than or similar to the size of the Empire's army. Just remember, The Empire's army loyalties lies with King Denusa, nobody else.

Rebels, The members from the Judgement:
They are your enemies; how they react to you, how you kill them, are your choice. But they aren't easy to find unless you are fighting them on the battlefield. They are very good at hiding from the Empire. Unless I say so you won't be able to meet the hiding rebels. Of course if you have a character from rebel force, you can do whatever you please with him. I will definitely give you few information about the rebels if you need your rebel character to know about it. Unlike your black crusader, you could control many rebel's characters.

Rebels are your allies and who you are. They work in small groups to carry out secret missions such as assassination, gathering intelligence, kidnapping Empire's high ranked officers, and etc. They only gather in great numbers to defend the cities and villages that made a stand against the Empire. For an example, some of the Vampire cities are protected by the Judgement's force. In other words, if one of the protected cities is going to be invaded by The Empire, Judgement will definitely come to their aid. No doubt their army is smaller than the Empire's, but they got many people with talents.

If you are fighting for the Judgement, you will get the support from the citizens of the Empire and other people easily. Just remember, to change the tie of any battle against the Empire each man from the Judgement needs to take out more than ten men.

Unnamed Frontiers:
Frontiers are Rebels' superior officers. They are strongest among the rebels. So expect more than a scratch when you fight them. Your black crusader might need to fight them with all his might, remember that if your black crusader is killed by the Frontiers, your story ends at that scene. You have to take it into your knowledge that not all of the frontiers are as strong as your black crusader. What I really want to say is that the rebels are few in numbers but got many interesting people on their side.(Implying they got people with talents.)(Meeting powerful Frontiers 1/2, fight any two frontiers and one of them will be powerful foe.)

If you are fighting for The Empire, kill the Frontiers to get more money. Just remember that they are powerful foes. You might have to risk your life to kill any one of them. Some of them are incredibly powerful that you might have to run for your life. This is because if the Mercenary players want to fight the named Frontiers, with 100% guarantee, I will send them to fight the Mercenary players. (Ratio of 1/1, every frontier Mercenary players face will be hard to kill target.)

Every rebel's platoons or company will have up to five frontiers, you can name any one of the unnamed frontiers and initiate battle with them. If there's a named frontier, you cannot initiate battle with him or her unless I let him/her battle you.(PM me if you want to fight them) (This implies to The Empire Players and The Mercenaries Players only)

Unnamed Black Crusaders:
They are the elite knights of King Denusa, they are well trained and powerful. There are many in numbers. Some of them are too powerful for rebels to fight head on. But then again not many of them are as powerful as frontiers from 'Judgement'. But, some are, indeed, worthy foes.

Black Crusaders outnumbers Judgement's force, but they have very few frightening foes, which implies that you might able to kill many Black Crusaders as many as possible. However, not all of them are weak. Some could be very frightening, and when the Frontier Players came across such foes, they probably need to fight with all their strength. Remember, if your main character is the Frontier and he/she gets killed by the Black Crusader your story ends there.(Ratio of meeting worthy foe, 1/8, this means if you fight any eight Black Crusaders one of them is going to be very powerful)

If you are fighting for Judgement, kill many Black Crusaders to earn the fame among the people of Aesela. However, remember that some Black Crusaders are really hard to kill, and some Black Crusaders are too powerful for you to kill alone. So if you are going to fight them, you might have to fight with all of your strength from the start.(Ratio of meeting worthy foe, 1/5, this means if you fight any five Black Crusaders one of them is going to be very powerful)

Unnamed Mercenaries:
There are free spirit warriors and they could be hired as your underlings to fight for you. Just make sure you pay them right and their loyalty will be with you unless he/she/they feel/s you no longer worth it. (It might be different with player characters and "named" characters)

Same with Empire Faction Characters, Judgement Faction characters could hire the mercenaries as well; same warning applies.

Characters that players cannot control

They are definitely under my control and their character sheets would be available. Also remember that you cannot control other players' characters.

King Denusa: You cannot control him; what he says is the law. And any orders from him must be executed without any questions.

Rebel's Leader, Leon Asgaurd: The leader of the rebels, and the most powerful frontier. If your black crusader/Mercenary faces him you will only taste bitterness. Try to avoid fighting him alone.

Frontier Raven Black: He is one of the frontier capable of fighting black crusader. He could use wizardary and short swords.

Frontier Zen Mystic: She is just like Raven. She uses dangerous ice magic and two handed staff.

Frontier Min Longsword: She is also capable of handling Black Crusader. She uses oversized scyth and a sniper rifle.

Frontier Elsword Nass: His spear skills are good enough to challange Black Crusader. He uses spear that is made of diamond.

Frontier Rezel Tessaris: Bulky hammer user, who still has the quickness of a mouse. Just like the above, his hammer skill could kill your black crusader.

Frontier Mana Goldtail: Frontier with great martial art skills. He could break few bones of your Black Crusader. In other words, he is capable of killing your Black Crusader.

Frontier Rex Mesh: Master of fire magic and teleportation. Fire skill of his will burn you alive if you aren't careful.

Black Crusader Commander Azzik: Will kill your frontier and mercenary... Avoid him.

Black Crusader Xeon Lightreaper: Azzik's best disciple, and maybe the successor of Azzik. Do not fight him if you want your main character to survive long.

Other people's Black Crusaders, Frontiers and Mercenaries: You can only control your Black Crusader/ Frontier/ Mercenary.

(Remember these NPC's won't fight your Black Crusader unless I sent them to fight you. And as I wrote before, there are many frontiers, so you could feel free to name him/her and control him/her until he/she dies (And this could be done without creating profile). However, very few frontiers will be likely killed easily.)

Race

Humans: They never existed in Aesela until 1 F.D. They have brought great technological advancement in Aesela, and also been the hindrance to the technological advancement in certain areas as they insisted that they had seen the worse of the some technology in their "homeworld".

Vampires: Aesela vampires are different from the vampires we know. What we know is that vampires love bloods from humans, however, Aesela vampires love bloods from every race Aesela could offer. But then, they had given up drinking other races' bloods when their offspring started falling in love with other races. Now turning their loved ones into vampire is very rare and they also figured out that some mixed offspring could turn into something incredible. Some pure vampires are incredibly stronger than others and some mixed bloods turned out to be strong as pure-bloods. Vampires are usually amazingly charming race with very opened mind. Their society tends to be very secretive, and they rarely care about what happens in outside of their world. Even the 'Bloody hand' King Denusa is afraid to go against the vampire society. [And Denusa regrets few actions he took against them. This will show up when RPing starts] In addition, all Aesela vampires are day walkers. (They are not undead)

Elves: Beautiful race, who almost looks like humans, that has pointy ears and fair skin. Aesela elves are well known for their songs and dances. They are peace loving people, however some of them are power hungry elves, some of them are corrupted than the human politicians. However, many elves are righteous, courageous and supportive. They are quick, and intelligent. Their revenge will choke you to death, but if you are their friend, they will make sure you survive as long as they are breathing.

Dwarves: Aesela Dwarves don't hide. They are the best blacksmiths and weapon creators. If elves' weapons are elegant and graceful. Weapons made by Dwarves are strong and powerful. In Aesela, well known tallest Dwarf is 5.2 feet. It's very rare to see half-Dwarves in Aesela. This is because Dwarves do not believe in mix-marriages. They take politics seriously but they do not play any part of it. However, they play big role in economics of Aesela.

Darkin: They are the descendants of human-like beings who had gained immortality using black magic. When they gained the immortality, they lost every magic they had in them. Even their descendants could not use any of it. However, they gain great intelligence and speed. They are fast enough to catch up to well breed horse in bare feet and they are cunning than any race in Aesela. Even humans cannot catch up to their intelligence. However, most of them are lazy and peace loving people. When Denusa became a king, they hid themselves from the light. The only way to distinguish them from the humans is to make them drink alcohol beverages. You will see their skin turning all white.

Dark Elves: Aesela Dark Elves are not related to Elves in any way. The Dark Elves are totally different race from elves. They have different culture, history and view of the world. They are well known for amazing wizards, sorceress and doctors. They live underground and they eat everything eatable for survival. They believe in the world's balance, and if the balance is broken they believe they are the only one who can fix it. They have dark blue skin that matches the bright night sky, and their beauty rivals the Elves.

Were-beings: They are powerful race who could transformed into humanoid animals; pure werewolves are most powerful beings among the were-beings as they could travel faster than any bullets in Aesela, and their inhumane strength matches the likes of the pure blood vampires. They can transformed into their humanoid animal form whenever and wherever and they are not weak against silver. Very few were-beings are able to match the strength of werewolves.

Ogre & Orcs: Ogre & Orcs of Aesela are not ogre and orcs that human imagined from the books of LOTR, or games from WW and etc. Their distinguishable features are pointy cuspid teeth, and bluish green skin; the males of ogre and orcs are well trained and they are also famous for using hammers as their weapon of choice.
