I crashed out early last night. so, I didn't get any reading done, but I'm going over a few chapters now.

Took me about five months when I graduated. Job searching is the worst...

it took me about 3 months the first time.
I've been looking for almost 4 this time, and I'm coming up empty.
the main issue is that all the jobs I've considered taking are in places I can't afford to live without a roommate.

Hmm. Well, I know some people don't mind roommates, but I would... I haven't exactly had positive experiences with them in the past.

What's your limit for rent?

$350 - $400 a month is probably the most I can do on what I'll be making.
if the job doesn't pay as well as I'm expecting, then less than that.

That little? Geez, good luck with that. I remember when I got an apartment in a pretty iffy section of Philly during my senior year, and that was $550. You get lower than that and you're looking at a closet.

Why so low? I thought you said you didn't have student loans or anything like that to deal with, so unless you're trying to stash up lots of money, you can surely do a little better than that.

well, I am trying to save up money, but the main reason is because pay grades in web development tend to be very tilted in one direction or the other. you either make entirely too much or barely enough to get by, and at my current experience level, I'm in the barely enough to get by category.

all this talk about tarot cards is making me want to dig out the deck I have in my closet somewhere... DX

although the ones I have aren't the traditional set. they're based on geometry. my aunt gave them to me a few years ago after stumbling upon them somewhere because she knew I liked mathematical enigmas and I had a vague interest in the occult.

well, the origin is based in Hindu culture. certain geometric patterns represent aspects of life or nature, and those have been collected and translated into a tarot deck.

Hmm, possibly. Or maybe you could make an eight anomaly Servant who shifts identities or abilities for each Arcana.

I see. So it doesn't follow the standard Fool - Magician - Priestess - Empress - Emperor - Hierophant etc format?

mhh... that's a bit more out of the box. I was thinking something more along the lines of it influencing the Servants' luck or maybe even other stats?

I think there are around 60 cards in the deck I have, and each of them is based on a different form of geometry.

If you can find some reasonable way of incorporating it, I'm all for it.
