Ugh, it took me like three days to finally gamble enough in the Baccarat Casino to get all the useful prize items.

Did you abuse the save system like you should?

Obviously. Once you get about 20,000 tokens, you're good to max out a third of the board and thus get about 65,000 on the best landing. But despite having 1/3 chance of hitting a good score, I seemed to very often fail. And having to run back to the church to go back to the main menu to reload took time and was a major pain in the neck.

Though if your PS2 isn't a piece of crap like mine that takes forever to read discs, resetting the actual PS2 is probably faster.

Pretty much the same time. I did both, though I used the in-game reset more because I didn't feel like getting up to hit the button lol.

My PS2 takes like 2 minutes to read a disc before starting the game

Wow lol. Mine's not that bad. Although sometimes in-game it will choke up a bit when trying to load things.
