it's not even the worst part.

the lack of freedom was ridiculous. You couldn't talk with people in the open. people didn't even talk with friends inside their own houses because of the fear of someone listenning. There was this master plan of keeping people ignorant that everything was fine, and that puberty didn't exist. It was so bad that people could just disappear in a single night. There was a teacher who was trying to raise money to help a poor family and next day he was gone simply because the goverment wanted to brainwash people into thinking everything was fine.

The worst part being that they did it. most people nowadays don't know of the horrors of the time, simply because their families were smart enouhg to keep their heads low. My mother lost over half her family to the goverment, just vanishing, taken away and never seen again.

what? no, that was during the WWII

now it's just a normal country with it's economy a whole mess

like most countries here in europe went through dark **** to get where they are today. specially during the WW2, either they were in the war or were in some form of dictareship

Ah, I see. I read a lot about Spain's dictatorship around that time, but not much about Portugal. They tend to only get a passing mention.

This video make me want to cry... I lived in america but I never had to deal with kids this stupid in school before.... even mentally challenge kids were smarter than this.

Fortunately, I went to a private school, so I was pretty much insulated from this lol.

that's because Portugal's dictatorship was about keeping everything inside while making everything look fine. Just so you understand, most people did not even know there was WWII going on, and Portugal is in Europe the continant where the war started.

only 3 more weeks until semester's over, so wait until then and hope i dont have to go to any exams

Why would you not have to go to your exams?

the education system i have right now is differant from the norm. basically instead of just having exams by the end of the semester, i have tests and works throughout the semester. Only if I fail do I have to do the exam.

basically the way they explained, they are more interested in seeing you grow through the semester rather than seeing people bust their ass at the last few weeks

Well, as far as I knew, schools did both. I had homework assignments/papers/lab reports throughout the term, a midterm or two depending on the class, and then a final exam at the end.

Makes sense to me

Although, during my last semester, they allow you to skip out on your finals if you would pass anyway.

Speaking of semesters I'm done with my spring, I wish I could avoid taking finals here they stress me the hell out :x

The test IC went through nicely. Jorg and I were satisfied with the results.

Really? How are you liking it now that you're looking back it from how long ago? The two scenes that I remember the best are probably the first training regiment for the army and then that train battle between aegis and the majin.

Lol, no, I had a lot of fun with it. Felt like those old "choose your own adventure" books.

Ah yes, the train battle was pretty awesome. Right now, Aegis has just met Jane and are trying to figure out how to infiltrate the water treatment facility to stop the Black Rider. The squad just finished their second mission in the mines and are enjoying some time off at the fair.

Ah that's pretty cool, but it sounds like it might be kind of hard to manage.

Ah ya it's all coming back to me now, the fair ride was so cute . I remember the black rider fight being fairly far into the book though? but I might be mixing it up when the army went in there
