| I do. I want them all to be quality characters, like in FSN and even FZ. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~ | |

| True. But that's hardly an excuse for someone to put out subpar quality products. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~ | |

| I can't tell if that was sarcasm or not. But in any case: quality is subjective to a degree. Some people might enjoy something, while others might not. But there's a definite line you can cross where no one will find something good.
As for people creating quality products... well, you probably shouldn't be making products if you don't have the talent to make them quality. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~

| I think it's better to do it well than to do it "uniquely." _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~ | |

But I've grown attached to them and developed them over the years so who cares |

As for people creating quality products... well, you probably shouldn't be making products if you don't have the talent to make them quality. it was sarcastic. if people thought like that, more than 90% of the population would be doing nothing remember that "quality" does not exist in the abstract, it has no meaning by itself. Something is only quality in comparison to others things. Aka people have to make **** products for other people to make better products than those, aka quality products. it's the same concept of, something is only pretty because there's something ugly to compare it with. But if everything was pretty or ugly, then they would be neither and would simply be normal. if everything was "quality", then there would be no quality |

| Yes and no.
I don't need to taste something bad to find chocolate good, or watch a bad movie to find another enjoyable. It might help me distinguish or quantify why I like it (that candy is too sweet, but this is just right or that movie didn't give its characters the right agency), but it doesn't change the experience. I would still like chocolate even if I had never tasted anything bad, cause my brain is wired that way. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~

| what? no! that's not how the brain works. the brain is not wired to like chocolate, wtf kind of logic is that? |

| anyway, my point is you cannot always have quality product, you need decent and bad ones to remember what quality is. Besides, decent products are fine. |

| I didn't say the brain is. I said MY brain is. Everyone has unique likes and dislikes in their genes and makeup.
The only thing comparisons give us is a relative scale on which to rate them, not to dictate our likes and dislikes. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~

| When I was a kid, my first video game was Crash Bandicoot, and I really enjoyed it. Still do. I had never played another game, but that didn't stop me from liking it.
Then I played the sequels and found them to be better. Didn't stop me from liking the first, but having more than one gave me a scale and comparisons to judge exactly what I liked or didn't. See? _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~
