Oh I don't deny they're quite interesting. I just find them more troublesome than interesting. They tend to make trouble where there is none and raise issues where there is no room.

Comedy usually helps. What also helps is coming to terms with what happened. But then, my personal method of coming to terms usually doesn't work as fast for other people.
