| Inception - Hypnos Gambit Welcome to Inception, the world of dream sharing where infinite creation is possible and a wealth of money is to be made - not, strictly speaking, in a legal way. Extraction - a form of corporate espionage using an experimental military technology to extract delicate and valuable information. The catch is that to obtain such information, extractors must infiltrate the subconscious of their targets while experiencing shared dreaming. However, sometimes stealing thoughts isn't enough. It becomes necessary, instead, to implant ideas. Inception, planting an idea in a person's subconscious, is an incredibly difficult and delicate task which requires the infiltrators to dive deep into the target's mind - dreams within dreams within dreams - to leave the concept undetected. Due to the highly illegal nature of such activity, extractors often find themselves on the run from targets they have extracted, as well as those shady groups that have hired them. But when successful, extractors can find themselves exceedingly wealthy. Dream sharing, however, is far more than just a way to make money. It is pure, unlimited creation. To bring ideas into reality is an experience unlike any other - one that, once exposed to, it is impossible to walk away from. Dream sharing becomes more than a job. It becomes a way of life. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~ | |

| The Extractor's Guide to Dream Sharing To join the world of dream sharing, it's important to understand the rules that dictate this life. To that end, we've compiled a list of important terms and concepts for you to understand. On Dream-SharingDreams are an integral part of the World of the Dream. They are the sensory representations of an individuals' subconscious, and are present in every living person. Through Dream-Sharing, dreams can be manufactured within other individuals' minds. There are three types of roles in dreams: ■The Dreamer: The Dreamer creates and maintains the dream space. ■The Subject: The Subject populates the dream space with projections of his or her subconscious. ■Other Sleepers: Sleepers can manipulate reality within dreams, but not the fundamental structure of the dream. The Extraction process is possible thanks to how the mind works when people are sleeping. When we are dreaming, we create and perceive our world simultaneously. Our mind makes it so well that we are not aware of the change. That allows the Extractors to get right in the middle of that process. When a Extraction team is working, the Subject never knows he is dreaming, like in normal dreams. But the Dreamers can tell to the Subject that he is dreaming; when the Subject understands he's dreaming, the strange things that happen in the Dream happen again, to show the Subject he's actually Dreaming. This tactic is known as Mr. Charles, and it's used to turn the Subject against his own subconscious, but it has a failure; when the Subject is convinced that he's Dreaming, the subconscious automatically looks for the Dreamer. Outside of the manufactured dreams exists Limbo, a shared dream space with no single dreamer. This space is the deepest anyone can travel within the mind. It is described as "raw and infinite subconscious". Tiered "dream within a dream" strategies are used for inception, and dreamers awaken by a "kick" such as dying in the dream or falling. If the dreamer is the one who awakens, the dream "collapses". Each "extractor" carries a totem, a small object whose behavior only its owner can predict, used to determine whether a dreamer is in someone else's dream. For instance, a totem might be a spinning top that spins perpetually in the dream state, or a loaded die in the real world that will roll like a normal die in the dream world. To initiate dream-sharing, special medication is needed and is facilitated by the PASIV Device. Somnacin is one of the drugs used for this purpose. When dreaming on only one level, a timer mechanism on the PASIV device can be used to wake up dreamers. Additionally, dying is also an extreme, though effective, way of waking the dreamer. Multiple dream levels, however, require a kick to awaken from a dream on a deeper level. To die while under sedation will not wake the dreamer, however, but send their mind into Limbo, wherein their minds will be trapped indefinitely. Overexposure to dream-sharing can cause an individual to be unable to dream naturally. Many people who can no longer dream must use a PASIV Device if they wish to dream while they sleep. The RolesTeams can be comprised of few or several people, depending on the nature of the job. More complicated jobs usually require more versatile and complex rules to pull off the task. Here is a list below of fellow dream sharers that you are likely to encounter. The Extractor - An Extractor is a person who extracts people's secrets through their dreams. At the core, an extractor is a classic con man – he creates a false set of circumstances that manipulate the subject into revealing his or her secrets. The difference is that those false sets of circumstances are created through dreams. The Pointman - The Pointman is the information expert, whose task is to assemble all possible data on the target, from possible relationships to manipulate to whether or not they've received training to militarize their subconscious. The Architect - The Architect is the designer of the dream space into which a dreamer brings a subject. An architect is similar in this regard to a video game designer, with the dream representing different levels within the game, complete with all the aesthetic and tactile details. The subject is brought into that dream space and fills it with details from their own subconscious and memories. The architect does not have to design using real world architecture and physics, allowing them to create paradoxes like an endless staircase. When bringing a mark into the dream, a skilled architect is essential to help the dreamer make the dream feel real. Furthermore, an architect can help design mazes or other secure locations in which the mark hides his or her secrets. The mark subconsciously hides his or her secrets in a secure location, and the deeper or more important the secret, the better or more secure the location must be in order to lure the mark into populating it with their secrets. The Forger - A Forger is a social con person, able to make others think the forger is something other than they are. A skilled forger is a master of imitating people’s mannerisms – and in the dream world, even their very appearance. They are able to manipulate their appearance because in the dream world a sleeper's body is a projection of their mind. With enough skill a forger can take a wide variety of appearances, unrestricted by age, sex, or mass. The Chemist - The Chemist is responsible for developing the chemicals needed to sedate the target and the dreamers in order to enter sufficiently deep into the subconscious without it becoming too stable. The Tourist - The Tourist is any additional members entering the dream as support. Sometimes clients will insist on inside personnel to accompany the extraction team to ensure that the job is done according to specifications. The Mark - A mark is the target of a con, and in a dream the mark acts as the subject. If someone is trying to perform Extraction or Inception on the mark, they can enter the mind of the mark through the process of dream-sharing. Once inside the mark's mind, a dreamer can create a dream space where the mark is the subject, filling the space with details and secrets from their own subconscious. An extractor can then either steal these secrets or perform inception by planting an idea and making the mark think it is their own Further studyMore information can be obtained from the sources - http://inception.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Dream_Mechanics Watch the movie. Do it. Seriously. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~ | |

| The Mechanics This is how the rp will work Jobs will be posted to the job board, with each acting as its own "mini rp" that acts as part of a larger continuity. Your actions in one job will have effects on any down the line. Completing a job will earn you money, reputation, and connections. Reputation will determine any jobs you take. Players are given a starting reputation (extra points may be awarded depending on the character) depending on their role. As jobs are completed, your reputation increases. Or, if a mission fails, your reputation drops. If your reputation hits 0, you will be unable to take any jobs without a connection. If your reputation goes negative, your character will be killed off by one of your vengeful clients. Connections naturally are made during the jobs. Naturally, people will seek to work with extractors they already have experience with. Therefore, connections may allow you to trump reputation. If your actions in the job allow it to be completed, each character you work with is added to your list of connections with a plus modified to it. Each successful job with that character adds a plus. Each failed job with that character will downgrade it. Having too negative a connection may prevent you from working a job with that character. Connections can be integrated into the character's background if two players so choose. Jobs have restrictions to pay attention to - reputation and connection. Sometimes, a connection will be preferred in dealing with a job. And reputation can mean not being good enough to get a job or being too good for it, if the client is unwilling or unable to shell out money for a task that doesn't require particular expertise. On that matter of specialties, you can create characters with one of the following roles: Extractor Point Man Architect Forger Chemist Each role has its advantages and disadvantages, both OOC and IC. Extractors are the only ones that can technically accept a job. It will then be up to them to recruit players to help them complete the task. They will also act as the team leaders for a job. Because extractors are the most prevalent role, they come with a starting reputation of 1. Pointmen are responsible for manufacturing information that will be used for the dream. OOC, you will be in charge of coming up with background details and flaws to exploit in order to best complete the job. How creative you are and how hard you work to come up with something workable will reflect in the job. If you just decide to scrape together bare minimal details, it might not be enough to successfully plant an idea, or result in not preparing for a subconscious that is militarized. Failing to get enough could result in drastic consequences - a far more difficult job, a failure, or even dropping into Limbo. Pointmen start with a reputation of 2. Architects will create the dream world for the job. Although you may discuss your ideas with the team and get feedback, it is up to you to develop the levels of the dreamscape and direct things inside the dream world during the task. As necessary and highly prevalent aspects of dream sharing, they start with a reputation of 1. Forgers role is solely IC, though important nonetheless. They are integral to jobs that require deception to manipulate the client, and are also most able to adapt the dream world for their purposes - manifesting and altering items, weapons, etc. Forgers are highly specialized and start with a reputation of 3. Chemists are the least prevalent members of the team, but essential for dreams of multiple tiers. They are unlikely to enter the dream deeply, but are responsible for holding up the top layer of dreaming, making everything beneath ride on their shoulders. Chemists are highly trained and start with a reputation of 3. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~ | |

| Extractor Compendium Here's where all the characters will be listed for when you search for team mates to complete a job, listed according to their specialty and reputation. Extractors- Spoiler:
Player: Nexius Name: Alexandrina Valente/ A.K.A “Rina”/ “Alex” (Her mother, Mike, Zach and Alicia call her Alex) Age: 28 Gender: Female Appearance: - Spoiler:
Position: Extractor Personality: Outspoken, yet gentle. She is viewed Strong and charismatic, she is friendly to strangers and confident in her skills with her ability to speak all four languages fluently like native speakers. She is also confident in her skills with hand to hand combat. Even though, she acts tough, she is easily hurt by unfriendly words; she doesn’t show it to the surface that she is hurt by unfriendly words. She is good at faking her emotions and hiding actual emotions. History: - Spoiler:
Alexandrina father died rather early, leaving her mother with two children. Her mother tried her best to provide them; however, her first child, Alex noticed how world treated her mother poorly. So as a first born child she decided to help her mother by doing part-time jobs and so forth as she grew up, and along the way she made lots of friends who helped her to support her family. Everything seemed to work fine and she thought that her family life finally became stable, and nothing would disturb her family. However, as she went abroad to study in university for language courses, drama and literature, she came to hear the disturbing news about her family being in troubles due to the natural disaster that struck her hometown.
The situation looked grim for her hometown and her own family; the government supplies were not enough for all of the families to start a new life in new cities. The problem looked like it had no solution until one of the abroad students suggested an idea; her ex-boy friend suggested they should do some “job” using the dream device that he had created and applying the knowledge they had earned from the university in order to accomplish the job.
It turned out to be successful plan. Even though, not every part of their hometown was successfully rebuilt, but their hometown became a well known city to find the talents for the “job”. Due to sudden fame that her hometown gained, Alex lost her boy-friend to the dream world; her boyfriend became obsessive with dream world’s job that he abandoned his hometown and left her; leaving all the responsibility of rebuilding their hometown to her and others who only knew little about dream sharing.
However, her misfortune did not end there, the friend of her ex-boyfriend, Zach Milestone, blamed her for Mike’s departure. So Alex had no choice, but to leave her dream sharing crew and to find new one to help her family and others.
Currently, Alex, who introduces herself as Rina to others, is still working for the “job” as she wants to help the families in her hometown. Alex hopes her hometown to be rebuilt and return there as normal girl, and to live a peaceful life with her family.

Zach Milestone: Friend of Mike and the current leader of Alex’s hometown dream sharing crew. Once, he wanted Alex to be his girl friend; however, Alex showed that she had no feelings for him and she just wanted to be his ‘friend’. As he did not take it kindly to her polite refusal he always tried to find an excuse to disqualify her or knock her out from the dream sharing crew. When Mike left the crew, he blamed her for his departure and somewhat forced everyone to agree with him to ban her from the crew. (He is an extractor)
Alicia Knight: Best friend of Alex; she is the only one contacting her from the hometown (apart from Alex’s family) and providing information of what is going on with Alex’s hometown crew. She is an architect in Alex’s hometown dream sharing crew.
- Spoiler:
Player: Nexius Name: Aden Brandt Age: 32 Gender: Male Appearance: - Spoiler:
Position: Extractor Personality: Not much of planner, but when it comes to the job, Aden knows what should be done instinctively. Aden is a natural liar and a charmer who loves ladies, and drinks. However, he knows how to control his urges; especially when he is on the job, those luxuries become less important to him. As he is also trained to be a lie detector, his eyes easily recognize minute detail, and reaction of person he is speaking to. He dearly thinks about his younger brother, Aiden Brandt, who just started university life. History: - Spoiler:
Aden was born from ordinary family, well that was what he thought when he was young, in U.S.A; Aden and his family were enjoying the peaceful life until the accident.
The accident took away his father, mother and his respectable elder brother; Aden, the second eldest and his younger brother, Aiden only survived. To make matter worse, Aden was only 12 and Aiden was a year old baby.
Fortunately, Aden and Aiden had grandparents who were willing to take them in. And one day, in their grandparents’ place, they discovered that their dead parents and their elder brother were dream sharers and as Aden looked deep into the records of his parents work, and his elder brother’s work… He couldn’t shake off the feeling that the accident was not just an accident, but it was someone’s handy work.
In thirst for vengeance, he jumped into the dream sharing job when he became a high school student. Even though, he had few clues to work on the truth behind the accident, the anger inside him could not be settled down. So he decided to do what his family did for years. However, he learnt a lesson that it was not easy and as he was still learning about his job, he had ups and downs. And fate playfully drifted his name to the army; he was dispatched into navy, and served there for 5 years. Making his desire for vengeance even stronger.
After his service to his country was done, he went back into the dream sharing community to end what he started. Few months later, he realized just doing the job was not enough to find the person who killed his family. Using the connection he had gained in Navy, he got a job in police department. And he started to work as undercover cop for several years.
Due to nature of his work, he started to see things; the micro and macro expressions, the body gestures that people tend to show when they are nervous, gestures of what great liars do to fool the innocents.
However, he hung on to his job, to find the killer. Then he was contacted by Jake Hawks when he became 32. Jake told Aden, “I know your family murderer; I will contact you once again if your reputation is good enough.” And Aden did not hear from Jake since then.
To find out the murderer and to find out the reason why, he quit his police work and jumped into Dream sharing network.
Totem: A tribal sun tattoo in his chest; he doesn’t have it in dream world. - Spoiler:
Skills: Multi-lingual (French, German, Spanish and English), a natural liar, nimble fingers, and has built his own memory palace, allowing him to remember the details of the dream as long as he breathed. He is trained with hand to hand combat and weapons. And his eyes are amazing at catching people's micro expressions and body gestures they made when they are talking to him. Reputation: 1 Connections: Aiden Brandt: Younger brother of Aden; Aden took care of him after parent’s death. Sometimes people mistake him as Aden’s son as Aiden looks younger than his actual age. Jake Hawks: Mysterious person who knows about “the murderer “ NYPD: Aden is considered one of the legendary police officers and he is described as such by many NYPD officers. Aden had developed great relationship with many officers in this department. Many officers are willing to help Aden, if he needs some help.
- Spoiler:
Player: PayneName: Trevor Bash Age: 31 Gender: Male Appearance: - Spoiler:
Position: Extractor Personality: Trevor has a gentlemanly personality that makes him rather likable and easy to talk with. Naturally charming and slightly funny, he's the type of guy you can't help but trust after only knowing him for a few minutes, and although he lives by a strict code of honor, Trevor's choice of profession over the years is anything but black and white. Years of working under the gun have left him with a slight case of acute paranoia, and Trever can also be extremely superstitious. History: Not much is known about Trevor Bash before he showed up on Interpol's radar at the age of 23. Actually, there's much speculation as to whether or not Trevor Bash is even his real name. It does seem to be the alias he uses by preference though. What is clear is that Trevor was raised in England, a homeland that both his mannerisms and accent pay homage to. For the better part of his twenties, Trevor worked as a broker for all sorts of deals, both legal and otherwise. If you needed to run the table for a corporate takeover, Trevor could hook you up with the right people. Looking for small arms at a fair price? Trevor was your man. Need to acquire the leadership of a small country? Trevor could pull it off, and even make it look legit. It was suspected that Trevor Bash's net holdings at the age of 29 were somewhere in the twenty millions, and it was at that time that he decided to fall off the radar completely. Too many big deals had drawn too much attention, and although Interpol had never been able to pin him with anything solid, Trevor had decided it was time to get out. Some people just can't quit the game though. They just have to look for a different board to play on... Totem: A chess pawn that when dropped in a dream will always land standing up. Skills: Trained in the use of explosives, most projectile weapons, and an array of military combat styles. Reputation: 2 Connections: Names omitted. Pointmen- Spoiler:
Player: Nexius Name: Han Hyun Cheon/A.K.A ‘Han’ Age: 33 Gender: Male Appearance: - Spoiler:
Position: Extractor/Point-man Personality: Calm and friendly, but depending on the job, he could be cruel and unforgiving. Furthermore, he was trained to be the spy for government. Once he had served his country as military intelligence gatherer and its spy. Lying comes very natural to him and his experience as spy and military intelligence gatherer helped him to develop it further. History: - Spoiler:
South Koreans’ military decided to train special individuals to prevent North Korean spies from sabotaging South Korea’s military intelligence. Han, orphan child, was picked up for this program. After the intensive training he had received from this program, he was given the code name, Black Sky.
At the age of 14, he was sent to North Korea as a spy and he returned to South Korea at the age of 30. He and his teammates were betrayed by their own and had to abandon their post. During the escape, most of his teammates were killed in process, leaving him and the two other individuals alive. As one of them had to be the betrayer, he had been running away from the South Korea government ever since. The South Korea government was going with “shoot first and ask later” motto.
He is currently away from his home land and he is trying to find his way back to Korea to find the betrayer. Han had gathered the information that the betrayer was alive and living good life in his country, South Korea.
Dream-Sharing was not new thing for Han, as his several spy missions were involved with extraction. However, as he has to keep his past secret, he acts like a extractor just began his journey to the dream world.
Totem: Zippo, in the dream world it can be lighted. - Spoiler:
Skills: Multi-lingual(Chinese, Korean(South and North), Japanese, German and English), photographic memory, expert at handling weapons, ex-military officer, also well trained with hand to hand combat. He is exceptionally amazing at lying. Reputation: 2 Connections: South Korean Military Officer, General Park: He was Han's mentor, who also informed Han about the betrayer. Choi "Fast Build" Sok Chuk: Worked as "The Architect" when he was with Han; Choi escaped North Korea with Han. Dead or Alive? Unknown. ("xxxxx" is the code name) Kim "Red Flower" Hong Hwa: Worked with Han; Extractor and Forger. She was the leader of the squad and she betrayed them. Alive and she had erased her existence from the government, and she is currently living in Korea with new name and possibly with new looks. ("XXXX" is the code name)
- Spoiler:
Player: Payne Name: John Lattimer Age: 34 Gender: Male Appearance: - Spoiler:
Position: Point-man/Forger Personality: To label John as a narcissist would be a grave understatement of his own self-importance. The man has a God complex, which he's more than happy to admit to anyone asking. As a lifetime psychologist and criminal profiler, John is also highly effective at figuring out what makes people tick though. He can read a mark the same way most people might read a magazine. Very outspoken and open, John often comes across as being blunt, as he tends to reveal truths about people that they themselves didn't even realize. He's also prone to several self-destructive tendencies, particularly reckless gambling and alcohol abuse. History: John never knew his parents. The earliest recollection of his childhood put him in the care of his grandfather, who raised John until the age of eight. It was then that an entanglement with a mugger, which took the old man's life, left John as a ward of the state. With only his grandfather's gold watch as a memento of his past life, John grew up in an orphanage. As a coping mechanism for what he'd lost, John made himself the new center of his world, believing that if he only loved himself, then what he loved most could never be taken away. After leaving the care of the orphanage, John attended a community college, getting a degree in psychology. From there, he took a job in a small office, and worked up the money to pay his way through university, where he acquired a second degree in criminal law. The FBI was more than happy to have him as a profiler for several years, but John always knew it would never be enough. As a psychiatrist, he had manipulated people into dealing with their own problems, and as a profiler, he hunted down those that had problems beyond repair. Neither of them truly gave him what he wanted though. Only through the world of dreams could he truly be God. Totem: A gold pocket watch with a shattered face. In dreams, the face is unblemished. Skills: Psychological profiling and manipulation Reputation: 3 Connections: Architects- Spoiler:
Player: Prisma Name: Hunter May Age: 24 Gender: Male Appearance: - Spoiler:
Position: Architect Personality: Hunter is pleasant and enthusiastic, and the type who always seems to love his work. He can be a bit dorky at times, but it makes him rather endearing. A team player all the way, Hunter will always be eager to help out when needed. Although he enjoys architecture, his passion for technology usually has his creation come in the form of computer models and programming, rather than traditional hard models. He's also a terrible liar. History: Hunter was born to a traditional five-unit family with one brother and one sister. But Hunter wasn't a traditional kid. He enjoyed even at a young age using building blocks to construct elaborate architecture and cities. As he grew older and was introduced to technology, he latched onto the medium and the freedom it represented in creation. In cyberspace, he could design and create things that didn't exist in real life. After obtaining his dual degree in architecture and computer design, Hunter interned for the Department of Defense, where he learned about dream sharing. Fascinated by it and the potential to go above and beyond even what he could do in cyber space - not just creating but experiencing as well - he began to try to get into the field as well, feeling that the law held nothing over the experience of pure creation. Totem: A coin that always lands on its side in the dream world Skills: Computer genius Reputation: 2 Connections: unnamed military sources
- Spoiler:
Player: Ryubos Name: William Henrik Age: 32 Gender: Male Appearance: - Spoiler:
http://4steex.deviantart.com/art/The-writer-429024456
Position: Architect Personality: William is moody and withdrawn when awake. He will talk to himself often and rarely responds to others. However in the dreams he’s completely different, laughing and joyful he will often never shut up. Creating stories out of the worlds he has built using his mind. This positive energy will sometimes also remain with him for a little while after he’s left the dream as well, and in such cases he will be found writing on everything and anything. However these times of good mood are slowly becoming less common and shorter History: William spent the first part of his life as a writer, becoming well known for his ability to create incredible descriptions that would bring a life to his books beyond what many would believe possible. However this was never enough for him, constantly looking for ways to increase the power of his descriptions. This search eventually led him to Somnacina and the science of dreams. William quickly found himself spending nearly all his time dreaming, creating stories the likes of which could never be written. After only a year he was bankrupt, a shell of a man who was almost dead when not dreaming. Unable to afford to even live he began to work with extractors simply so that he could visit the dreams once more. Totem: His ring Skills: William can speak English and German as well as parts of French and Spanish. He is also a fast writer and reader as well as being highly skilled at word puzzles and riddles. Reputation: 2 Connections:
- Spoiler:
Player: Payne Name: Michael David (pronounced as Me-kay-el Da-veed) Age: 14 Gender: Male Appearance: - Spoiler:
Position: Architect Personality: At first glance, Michael often appears to have a terrible case of ADD. Actually, he probably does have a terrible case of ADD. He's just never taken the time to see a shrink and have it documented. A victim of his own overactive imagination, Michael will often cling to something that interests him indefinitely, ignoring all outside factors until he's satisfied his curiosity. Michael tends to keep to himself for the most part, only acknowledging the existence of other sentient beings when some task requires it. Despite his eccentricities, Michael doesn't appear to regard himself in any higher status than other people though. He's very open about his thought process, and more than willing to share it with anyone willing to listen and capable of following his often obscure logic. History: Michael lived a prodigious life from early childhood. It quickly became obvious that he collected knowledge far more quickly than other children his age. The only apparent problem with this was that he seemed to bore easily, and he often retreated into a world of video games to keep himself entertained. In time, even that grew dull though, and Michael began designing his own games, some of which he leaked out over the internet. Some time later, he was contacted by an Extractor asking for a very obscure dream design. The request was worded in a way that made it seem like the Extractor was actually seeking a personal video game though. Intrigued by the strange request, Michael accepted, but before he would turn over his design, Michael demanded to later see the finished production. Unable to find another Architect on a strict deadline, the Extractor unhappily agreed, and Michael was immersed for the first time in a reality of his own making as a Tourist. It was what he'd been looking for. Not only had he designed the game, but he could be a part of it, a real part of it. Drawn to this new obsession like a moth to a flame, Michael offered to write up more scenarios for the Extractor, who contacted him several times afterward. Totem: A necklace that appears as a Star of David in his own dreams but appears as a Pentagram in anyone else's. Skills: Photographic memory and unparalleled attention to minute details | Bilingual (English/Hebrew) | Mathematical genius Reputation: 1 Connections: Forgers- Spoiler:
Player: Prisma Name: Sofie Verdreaux Age: 30 Gender: Female Appearance: - Spoiler:
Position: Forger Personality: Sofie is undeniably smug and sarcastic, with a wit sharp enough to cut. Though she often displays a light-hearted and charming demeanor, she can be ruthless when necessary. As a rule of thumb, she always looks out for number one. History: Sofie was born to a wealthy family in Nice, France. Her mother, of British decent, passed away when she was only 12, leaving her to be raised by her father. The past is not something Sofie enjoys dwelling on. When she was 16, her father was diagnosed with a severe stroke, leaving him in a vegetative state. The decision of his fate was left to Sofie, who decided to pay with her inheritance to keep him alive, although she never once visited him in the hospital. After obtaining dual degrees in psychology and drama, Sofie began to use her knowledge and social skills to con and manipulate people to further her wealth. However, upon learning of the dream world, she immediately began to channel her talents into this field as a Forger, practicing her talents relentlessly in order to pull off any role. Totem: A ring of some questionably sentimental value she keeps in her pocket that does not manifest in the dream world Skills: Multi-lingual (French, English, and Italian) Reputation: 4 Connections: (may add, depending on other people's sheets)
- Spoiler:
Player: Spiriter
Name: Arais Noir
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Position: Forger
Personality: He is, inherently, a nice person. He'll help a person on the street asking for directions, and elderly person cross the street, etc. He will, however, let nothing stand in the way of his goals. He doesn't interact with people much, and is very good at hiding his expressions and feelings, and is even better and feigning them. He is also very whimsical, as he didn't get to indulge much as a child. Much of the time, he is unpredictable as a result.
History: It is known he was born into a completely normal, average family. As he grew, his family had problems with finances, and as such, he learned to do everything in moderation, to reduce costs to as little as possible, while still getting enough, as his way of helping his parents.
His father was a honest company worker, but his employers started 'postponing' paying his wages with various excuses. He continued to work hard, but the company up and disappeared one day, leaving him jobless and desperate for work, eventually doing odd-jobs to make ends meet.
His mother worked hard at home to ease things up for her husband as much as she could, selling food for extra income.
Both were good people at heart, and always tried not to show their hardship to their son. This became his motivation to do his best for them. With his natural Photographic memory and quick processing ability, he came up to the top ranks in mandatory studies. Never complaining nor asking for more, which he knew his parents would do their best to provide, even when they couldn't afford to.
As an adult, he worked hard, but eventually realized doing normal work would get him nowhere fast. As he was nursing this train of though, he was approached by a man, who asked him if he wished to aid him in a certain job. He implied it wasn't exactly legal, but promised it'd be highly rewarding. Seeing no reason to refuse, he joined the man, and completed his first 'job', and has been a Forger since. His parents, now retired, reside in a house in the countryside, all their needs and expenses taken care of by him. Does not seem to have any other notable relations.
Totem: Birthmark on right shoulder replaced with claw marks up to elbow.
Skills: Photographic Memory, Expert Acting skills. Strange inability to transform into a female form in dreams.
Connections: None
Chemists- Spoiler:
Player: Prisma Name: Elliot Lewis Age: 32 Gender: Male Appearance: - Spoiler:
Position: Chemist Personality: Elliot is friendly, but undeniably quirky. Will often trail off mid-sentence to write down an equation, and tends to use dramatic hand gestures when explaining things. A very gentle and timid person, he gets intimidated easily by loud noise or aggression. However, he's incredibly blunt and says things that are best delivered gently... or perhaps not at all. History: Elliot was born to a sole parent household, raised by his overachiever mother who constantly stressed for him to be the best. As a result, he has developed something of a complex in dealing with strong women... Having completed his studied to receive a pH.D. in organic chemistry, Daniel began to work at a prestigious university to fund his research. Although respected and legitimate on the outside, his fascination with the dream world and how it connects to science has drawn him into extraction more than once. Totem: A blue marble that will bounce continuously in the dream world Skills: None Reputation: 3 Connections: None Tourists- Spoiler:
Player: Prisma Name: Meg Masters Age: 28 Gender: Female Appearance: Position: Tourist Personality: Meg has no concept of holding back. She speaks her mind with no qualms about others, and it always holds a particularly sharp and witty flavor. Brusque, selfish, intelligent, and cunning, she's a valuable ally - but one you want to watch your back with. A mercenary through and through, the job - and getting paid - are always top priority. History: Meg figured out young that patiently working in a typical white collar job was going to get her nowhere fast - especially when it became apparent that she had no filter when it came to speaking her mind. Meg began to dabble in money-making schemes and illegal activity when she came across dream-sharing. Although she had no particular skill in building in the dream world or playing people's feelings, she was undoubtedly skilled at getting her way - particularly with a gun in her hand. Rather than learning to manipulate the dream world, she decided to focus on manipulating her clients and teammates, Her reputation grew about always ensuring jobs got done, freelancing apart from the central team with the client's direct interests at heart. After all, one could never be too sure about illegal activities, and with Meg, money would always do the talking. Totem: A ring with a black stone that turns red in dreams Skills: Proficient with knives and guns, and tying "one hell of a knot." Also very skilled at cards. Reputation: 4 Connections: ? Clients- Spoiler:
Name: Roger Kenzington Age: 21 Gender: Male Appearance: Personality: Roger is selfish, arrogant, and has no qualms about using others. Rather than better himself and working hard, he simply relies on his name and money to get ahead. When that doesn't work, he is not above using dirty tricks and underhanded means to accomplish his goals. History: ?
- Spoiler:
Name: Rich Price Age: 39 Gender: Male Appearance: Personality: Rich is entitled without a reason. Although he does not have the natural talent or the work ethic of others in his field, he still expects respect and wealth to come to him. Though pleasant enough to people's faces and soft-spoken, he harbors bitterness and resentment toward others around him. History: ?
- Spoiler:
Name: Julian Hollingsworth Age: 58 Gender: Male Appearance: Personality: Julian is a strong, domineering businessman, who has brought the failing business of a once-prominent family enterprise into its golden age. Obscenely powerful and wealthy, he displays a surprisingly down-to-earth perspective and insightful charisma. However, as one who has always made decisions from the mind and found great success, he places little importance on emotions and concepts like love. He does seem to have great affection for his only child, Lana, however. History: ? Marks- Spoiler:
Name: Miranda Duval Age: 40 Gender: Female Appearance: Personality: Miranda is stern and strict with her students, but fair. Although very unpopular with slackers and those that try to slide by, students who pay attention and dedicate themselves to hard work find her to be a very gifted teacher who is willing to help those who try. Though she does not speak frequently to others, she is quite intelligent and an engaging speaker. History: ?
- Spoiler:
Name: Ned Deil Age: 29 Gender: Male Appearance: Personality: Ned was born for business. Charming, engaging, and inspired, Ned has little trouble wooing the upper management with his personality and gifted ideas. He doesn't seem to have much difficulty in wooing the ladies either. History: ?
- Spoiler:
Name: Gerard Mercier Age: 35 Gender: Male Appearance: Personality: Gerard is personable and well-liked, though very soft-spoken and mellow. He's very affectionate and doting to his fiancé, Lana Hollingsworth, and the two appear to be very much in love. As an artist, he is very talented and creative, and often seems to take pleasure in the mundane - like a simple country lane, or slits of sunlight falling across a kitchen counter. History: ?

| I think I should add back the Kenzington and Ace jobs and just divide the category into completed/ongoing and open. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~ | |
