He probably would though lol. Not a sexual deviant looking for new things, just looking for new things to poke into. Or old things. Or whatever. |

| Well yes, that's what I meant. Also, I watched episodes 2 and 3 of Supernatural season 10. - Spoiler:
Seems Dean's been cured of his demon status, though I have to assume this isn't over like Sam getting his soul back. After all, he still has the Mark. I hope it lasts though, cause I miss my loveable Dean Bear.

| what? didnt you also read the synopsis? - here, its copy-pasted:
- Quote :
- Alright. Finished. Basically, the story is that one day Rainess, or however you guys have been spelling her names, comes to Waver's apartment with robomaid and tells him that the owner of Adra Castle has died and that he's been invited to claim its inheritance. The Elmellois have been on good relations with the Gelyon Ashborn and not only that, the deceased master was known for being able to repair crests. This is important since Kerry really screwed up fastwheels’ crest.
So Waver takes his student Gray along to the castle, and there they meet a cast that's befitting of a Conan episode, littered with statues of angels. Gray, because of her own bodily nature, feels overwhelmed by the presence of eyes, but Waver gets her to meditate, and she calms down.
We meet, Frugar, the useless astrologer mercenary who is also known for killing his own master (and he prefers to be called Fru), Heine and Rosalind Istary, I mentioned them already, Adashino Hishiri, the administrator of the estate and from the faculty of policies, Seigen, who is a shuugenja, Orlock Sizamund, I mentioned him a bit and I'm not going to even bother to romanize his name properly, and of course, Luvia and her servant Clown.
The cast is assembled and Hishiri reads what's written on the will. That if you are unable to say the name of the angel, your angel will be completely stripped from you.
Each of the players have angel names assigned to them and they go to their own respective rooms. Waver and Gray are supposed to go the Mihael room, but Gray reads the room name wrong and go into Michael instead, where they encounter Luvia, who isn't too happy about this, but Waver realizes and tells her that the names are based on the Shemhamphorae, so she lets him off with just a Gandr in the sleeve of his jacket. The next morning Luvia reveals this information to everyone assembled for breakfast, and the crowd splits off to do their own investigating (you know, the Shemhamphorae is supposed to be a big hint about where you're supposed to go, that is, mixing it with the zodiac and converting the angel names into orientations).
Heine does his own investigating and runs into a large beast who asks him for the name of the angel. The name apparently didn't match, so there's a bit of a skirmish, but the beast runs into some other direction and straight into the castle, and Heine figures that someone else was there before and it was after that someone.
And so he finds the impaled body of Hishiri on an angel statue, without her eyes too. Eyeglasses are gone too, which Waver notices, but it doesn't seem like such a big deal at the time. And this is where things sort of turn into a murder mystery? Well not really, but close to one.
Orlock, who was initially kind of condescending to the young Lord, offers to team up with him, and we get some information on Ashborn and his deceased wife and son, and that he also did research with Ashborn.
Meanwhile, Luvia’s off somewhere else and trying to do her jewel divination but no luck with that, because the workshop is jamming attempts with that. Which is where Frugar comes in, offering his services to her. So as a test to see if he’s going to be any useful, she fires off her jewels at him, which Frugar narrowly avoids by drawing a magic circle in the air which apparently lets him briefly interfere with causality and bring him to a safe location. Or something. The deal’s established, but Luvia adds that she wants him to bury Lord Elmelloi II (not physically, just prove Waver’s incompetence and destroy his reputation).
Waver and Gray are doing some more investigating with the old man and his servant boy tagging along. He would have done it immediately after, but it looked pretty dangerous at the time. Not because of some monster appearing, but because the other magi assembled were ready to kill each other. Luvia pops in with Frugar and makes some snide comments about how it shouldn’t be possible to find out anything over there about the other magi, which leads to Waver saying that a lot can be told from even the alignment of a magus and giving a lengthy analysis of Luvia and the Edelfelt’s foundations of mixing their own decaying rune magic with the jewels of Mesopotamia and Egypt, and going as far as saying that the nature of Luvia isn’t in jewel-like brilliance, but…
Luvia cuts him off before he can continue and look like she’s about to start a fight, but the Orlock butts in, and Luvia and Frugar leave.
Seigen, who’s watching over Rosalind at the request of her brother, gives his sob story to her and why he’s there. I don’t really care about it so, I’ll skip over that. Heine is doing some more investigating at the forest outside at a different location from before and encounters the beast again. He traps it by transforming his armor, unfortunately, for him, he’s found dead on the next page all of a sudden in the next morning.
Waver wants to examine the body, but Rosalind is understandably distressed. Gray sees this and says she’ll give him a proper burial (along with Miss Adashino), and we get some background about where she was from. Somewhere in the middle of the funeral rites, Gray forgets what she’s supposed to say next, so Waver helps out. After the funeral is over, Orlock comes in to tell the gathered that Luvia is about to do something interesting.
The interesting thing would be to hijack the functions of the castle as a workshop. Luvia successfully does this somewhat, but the security systems kick in. Waver is able to get Luvia, as well as himself and Gray, in a makeshift bounded barrier, but they’re shifted slightly into the astral plane. Waver gives some tutoring (continuing off from where he was cut off last time), via connecting into Luvia’s circuits, on how she should be imaging her Gandr, and they break out into the real world, to find Orlock’s body ripped to shreds and Rosalind and Seigen abducted.
Or Orlock’s body just happened to look like it ripped to shreds. He actually transferred himself into the little body. Waver asks Orlock for some more details about the Asborn family and he figures out who is responsible for their current predicament.
They run into Seigen, who supposedly managed to get away from the beast, but Waver doesn’t fall for that and declares him to be the culprit. Or rather, Glannid Ashborn, the son of Gelyon Ashborn, transplanted along with his personality as a magic crest into Seigen by Gelyon, who apparently also invited people to his castle so he could extract their crests.
A fight breaks out with the beast, which roars a roar that should disable magic crests (and the castle was built so it should resonate everywhere in the castle), but prior preparation thanks to Luvia and Frugar weakened that particular effect, though it still possesses physical force. Seigen seeing this, decides to retreat, but Gray, who demonstrates superhuman agility beyond typical magecraft reinforcement, follows. It seems that Seigen is more Seigen than Glannid, but the influence of Glannid deeply affected his personality.
In any case, Seigen/Glannid calls forth the spirits of all the chumps who died in the castle hoping to get their crests repaired, processed into angels, and they get to be cannon fodder for Gray.
The fight reaches its climax when Gray transforms the scythe into its true form, the spear that killed Mordred, and fires off a beam of light. (not a full powered blast since it wasn’t completely unsealed)
The battle’s over, and Waver and Orlock go to where Seigen’s body is. He’s heavily wounded, but still alive since the beast knocked him out of the way. The beast on the other hand is critically damaged, but still trying to move. Waver’s wondering what miracle could have made it withstand that, until Glannid shouts out “mother” and Waver realizes that Glannid was really after Orlock the whole time.
Waver takes the roar for Glannid, but since he doesn’t have a crest, he gets a psychological attack where a voice is telling him he will never amount to anything. But Waver doesn’t mind, because he’s already received more than enough honor, his only task now is to just become deserving of that honor he received. (He also switches back to young Waver during this sequence).
Back in the real world, Waver gets up and deduces that it was Orlock who killed Gelyon Ashborn. Apparently, Orlock was childhood friends with Gelyon’s wife and they had a one-night stand. The offspring of that was union was Glannid. When Orlock went to Glannid’s funeral, Gelyon was boasting that his dead wife, who succumbed to illness shortly after Glannid was born, had potential as a familiar so he’d been using her body as a storehouse for crests. Orlock couldn’t take this and killed Gelyon.
In any case, Orlock gently strokes Seigen’s unconscious face and goes over to the beast and uses his butterfly magic to transform her body back into what it was originally. And thus, he died.
Back in London, Gray, after successfully hiding from Flat, is met by Waver, and then by a girl in a kimono with glasses. As in, the girl who was supposed to be dead. Except she wasn’t, and it looks like she was in on the conspiracy and even helped send problem magi to the castle before to have them disposed of, which Waver also suspected, though he had no proof. Hishiri thinks she’s pretty similar to Waver, in both realizing that the search for the Root is futile, though Waver notes that there is a significant difference between can't do it because of lack of talent versus not trying because of lack of interest. Hishiri suggests that they should join forces, but Waver excuses himself, though not before she asks him if he hasn’t given up yet.
And he hasn’t.
Waver says that he wants to meet him again. That as soon as his contract with Rainess is finished, he’ll return to being a single magus and participate in the Fifth Grail War.
Gray, hearing this, asks that Waver take her with him.

| i mean, from when i heard of her weaponry i knew she was gonna have high combat ability, and that the author is gonna use Saber`s bloodline like steroids, but that should only give her a Dragon reactor and Prana Brust for strength, but the author had to give her Super Agility as well. (provided its not mistranslation)
also, even if Waver misses his war chance cuz it happened earlier than he expected (by 50 years) ,i wonder if Gray is gonna get retconed in being present for the grail dismantlement 10 years after FSN | |
