| So, I have some free time before I try to sleep, and I usually try to develop ideas for RPs during this time. So, please comment on what you see and ask any questions you have. If I see a great interest in one idea or another I'll probably go through with it and create an RP for it. Infamous RP idea - Spoiler:
With mutations being so common, and even at times subtle, the government has no easy way to control the ever growing mutation population. In this RP you play as a Mutation, a person whose DNA has been altered substantially giving them extraordinary abilities.
“Inequality is normal for any known Mutations even if there are politicians who swear they are fighting for equal rights. Forced into segregated zones Mutations are given what little scraps to keep their small societies alive by the government. Its never enough though, People die around you every day when you are a mutation. To survive you need to break free of the government shackles. Strength gets you free, whether it is strength in numbers or in one’s self. As a Mutation you have three choices, you either die in an alleyway, sell your soul to some two-bit merc outfit trying to become the next government contractor. I’d lie if I said it was a bad gig, most merc outfits give you enough pay to buy your own place out of the slums and a special pass to get past the agents who try to subdue any people who slip out of the slums. Some Mutations have made it out without doing this though, most of them are like me. Most of them have chosen to be a vigilante. Vigilantism isn’t glamourous unless you can secure the biggest buyers.” -From Necrohaunt’s diary
Players choose their abilities and which path their character goes down. Players can choose to become either a Vigilante or Mercenary. As players progress through the story their powers will become more and more developed allowing for either more power or diversity. Money will be earned through story missions, but won’t play a major role.
The story begins with Necrohaunt, a powerful Mutation and vigilante. Necrohaunt works to teach and give opportunities to young mutations he finds. The players will be a part of a group he is teaching. Players will follow Necrohaunt as he completes a contract which will introduce them to the main story and allow their characters to choose which path they will follow.
Night Angel concept RP - Spoiler:
This RP allows players to utilize multiple characters to combat a slumbering behemoth. Players will take their pick of of either Talented or Untalented characters. The talent is magic, and magic is divided into separate schools with their own. Untalented people are usually well versed in combat, some even able to rival talent strengthened muscles. Magic and Might alone won’t help slay the beast however. Some players will meet with a stranger by chance, and will be drawn to him after the events of the prologue. These players are known as Ka’karifers will have the task of finding their Ka’kari and bringing it back alive. Ka’kari are glowing spheres that convey great powers over their respective nature. There are three Ka’kari obtainable by players, Those are the Silver, Brown, and Green Ka’kari. With two others being NPC only.
Magic has different schools, some of which control nature, others that enhance the bodies capabilities, some that is considered more vile. Magic isn’t limited to just mages however. Wetboys employ body magic which gives them a multitude of abilities useful for their line of work, which is stealthily killing targets. Even simple soliders can employ magic. This is because the source of magic is internalized in a reservoir. What separates talented and untalented people however is talented people are able to refill and actively channel that reservoir.
Untitled K Project RP Plot: Enemies are all around. Clans spark tension with each other, While the Gold and Silver kings meet to find a way to use their influence to calm the passions down on the fronts. Meanwhile the Gold Clansmen are slaughtered, attempting to defend their turf from an assault coming from every direction. When the Gold King returns, to his outrage he discovers his veritable fortress a ruin. Guards killed, signs of aura killing them, A message written to him on the wall in blood. As though nothing could further stoke his fury, he strode to his hidden possession, a possession he was sure none knew was hidden there. The Dresden Slate, it was gone. In a moment his rage welled up and burst forth. He snapped. Suddenly finding calm, the message in the lobby made sense. “Time shall pass, Kings will die, and all will be new. The old have had their chance, now we seize it for ourselves.” The Golden King could guess what had happened. The perpetrators wanted power, and to secure it, they stole the very source of the Aura. The participants will be either clansmen or a king as they venture into the new city, bringing forth their most trusted representatives to recover and discover who has stolen the Slate. Glossery: Aura: The special power used by the members of each of the seven King clans. The color aura of a person depends on which clan they belong to currently.* Note, Clansmen can have multiple auras and manage them so long as the king of said clan accepts them as a Clansmen Clansmen: A person or people who are tied to one king. Clansmen are attuned to their king’s Aura allowing them access to that power. Dresden Slate: a mysterious stone that appears to be the source of the Auras and various Swords of Damocles used by the kings. King: Those that Dresden Slate bestows its power upon. This person can be a man, woman or even a non-human. All Kings are able to summon their Sword of Damocles, add clansmen to their clan if they want. They're said to "embody the forces of the natural world", and these abilities manifest as their Aura. Strain: People who gained power without receiving it from a king. Strains may also vary in their gender/species. Sword of Damocles: The manifestation of a King’s Aura when large amounts of Aura are used the sword manifests itself above the owner’s head. Each sword has its own unique shape and color to distinct to the world which King is present. Example Character: - Alistair Garland:
Name: Alistair Garland Appearance: - Spoiler:
Age: Unknown Personality: Curious to a fault, leaving caution for other people to worry about. Easily excitable as well. Normally playful with all, when pushed to his limits he forces himself to be serious. Position: Silver King History: “It is said that a King from the Silver Clan has been at every major modern turning point in history. With good reason however wrong they may be you see, because of my Aura I have been alive longer than I care to admit.” Alistair began his long journey in the early 1900’s. A church while turning new earth for their graveyard had made a discovery. An old tablet of sorts with strange writing surrounding it. Alistair never did make sense of the letters, but there was one symbol on the tablet that greatly interested Oxford. It appeared to be a larger sort of stone, perhaps a key to translating the tablet. With grant money funding this expedition, Professor Garland and his student archaeological team were sent to Dresden, Germany. Alistair’s team surveyed the site by day while in the evening he walked around insuring they weren’t unknowingly damaging anything of value. Getting up from his crouch, Alistair by chance spotted a tiny bit of peculiar stone peeking out at him from across the dig site. Pulling his trowel and brush he carefully revealed more of the stone. Up close it looked almost identical to the tablet they had found. Without thought he threw caution away, uncovering what he could reach. Dusting revealed runic symbols, and at that point every student was gathered around Alistair. The next few days were met with eager anticipation. Slowly, it almost seemed too slowly, his students uncovered a rather large slate. There was something about the ancient slate. Like the tablet in its own way. Clearly older, but looking sure enough to be able to withstand whatever went against it. A trowel was even accidently broken after a student sheared the slate. What was even more remarkable was that the slate didn’t bear a scratch from the trowel. The object having been recovered was put into packing so they could transport it back to England. Brushing the symbols ever so fondly thinking of all the study he would put into it, Alistair recoiled when a silvery light emanated from the slate. The light pushed itself outward into a little silvery wisp reaching for the hand that was taken away from it. Taking him over the silvery light transferred itself to Alistair forever changing him. Aura(s): Silver Affiliation: Silver Clan, Allied with Usagi first and foremost, Friendly with every other clan Strain information: None
There may be more ideas in the future, but all I can say is just keep checking back every now and then as I'm sure I'll forget to announce it. : o

| Both are solid ideas. :0 You know, it's possible that you and Pika could combine ideas - your Infamous idea and his Biohazard-esque idea. They seem fairly compatible. You have a pretty solid structure for characters and story, and he seems to have a good world setting. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~ | |

| If he wants to that would be pretty awesome. : o
I remember you giving me ideas for parasites being the cause of the powers for the Infamous idea (I've been sitting on the idea for a good long while) and I have an idea of how to use them too. :0 Essentially for anyone who chooses to be a mercenary this would be how their powers develop (since most of their missions will involve killing any mutations they find)

| I shall. :0
What I really need to figure out is if I still have the old sheets I made for the RP. The night angel RP would be simple enough for me to make, but I remember I had a couple of original concepts for the Infamous one. : o

| I'll be sure to ask. Of course if this goes through and becomes an RP I might not want to ask your take on what happens in the story. :O | |

| Character making can be fun, but its sometimes a pain when you just can't describe the character you are thinking of at the time. : o | |

| Yeah, I get what you mean. It's particularly hard if you come up with a character and then have to find a matching appearance, rather than basing a character on a preexisting appearance. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~ | |

| True, the character does tend to be a bit deeper. Finding images can be such a pain though. _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~ | |

| Sometimes. I'm very picky with appearances, though. And there aren't enough good-looking guys with facial hair in anime/games. >:/ _________________ ~The Ruin of Camelot~ | |
