| I don't like any sports really. Trust me, I complain about NFL even more. Basketball and baseball and especially hockey don't seem to crop up as much in the public eye, so as much as I don't like them, they don't bother me as much. Now, I like playing soccer, but the concept of watching sports just baffles me. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~ | |

| I just don't like televised sports. It just annoys me. No, I find soccer the most fun "major" sport to play (tennis being my favorite). But watching it... eh. Probably the only one that's moderately entertaining to watch is baseball, and that's really only if you're there in person. Since I don't keep up with any teams though, there really aren't any stakes to keep me invested. The times I went with my aunt and uncle, I usually just rooted against the Yankees (their team) for the amusement. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~ | |

| I think Asche was worse, actually. It certainly took her a lot longer to come around to Jester than Tear did to Darien. _________________ ~Vae Victis - The Black Lily Blooms~ | |

| here you go: Asche Levatte - Spoiler:
Name: Asche Levatte Age: 23 Appearance: - Spoiler:
Personality: Asche is cool, calm, and determined, even a bit emotionally detached, but has a compassion for lost souls and the weak. When angered, however, she becomes quite fierce and can be blinded by her rage. She is, however, a straight-forward and reasonable person. Although she does not agree with all church doctrine, she is exceedingly loyal and firm in her resolve. Status: Church official Position: Burial Agent (#4) History: - Spoiler:
Asche Levatte was born and raised in southern France. She lived as a normal girl, attending mass every week with her parents. She loved hearing the stories of love and redemption, and to her the church was a place of comfort and security. Her favorite memories were of her mother staying kneeling at the altar in the church, saying her Hail Marys while Asche slowly wandered the ailes, staring up at the beautiful murals on the wall.
This life of peace and comfort couldn't last though. Asche's life was shattered at the age of eight, when a Dead Apostle went on a rampage in her town, sucking the blood of scores of people and killing many others. Asche's parents were such victims, and she found herself alone and scared while a nightmare raged outside her home. Asche could never forget the fear that night, the terror that the monster would find her too. In her darkest moment, the door of the house opened and she cried in terror that it was the vampire coming to kill her too. But no, it was a kind-looking woman, a nun from the nearby abby looking for survivors after the Executors had swept through. The woman took Asche in to the Abbey of South Haven nearby, giving her a place to live and food to eat. Asche was eternally grateful to the woman, and did all she could to help her. The nun, touched by Asche's devotion to the faith and eagerness to help, gave her duties around the abbey, such as setting up for the services for the women before they arrived. One such day, two years later, as she entered the sanctuary to set up for the service she saw a young girl, a few years younger than herself. She recognized her as a girl that had been brought in not too long ago. She's seen her in the choir before, and Asche could remember how melodious the girl's voice had been.
"What are you doing in here so early?" Asche asked, placing the heavy Bible on the podium before turning to the girl, who looked startled.
"I was talking to God.." she had said. Asche looked up at the statue, arms outstretched at the far end of the chapel.
"What about?" she said, turning back to the younger girl, studying her features more carefully.
"When he was going to bring my mommy back to me," she had replied. Asche sighed and folded her arms, staring out the colorful mosaic windows.
"You should be asking what reason he had for separating you," she said, her voice sounding more mature and reflective. "God has a reason for everything, right? So if you figure out his reason for bringing you here, then it's all worth it."
A few days later, about a month since Tear had been taken in, Asche was told someone would be moving into her room. To her surprise, she recognized the choir girl she'd spoken to in the chapel. They had exchanged words but not names, and now, the girl reached out a hand to Asche and said her name was tear. Asche smiled and accepted her hand. "I'm Asche."
From that point on, the two of them became almost the perfect image of sisters. In fact, a few of the nuns occasionally forgot that they weren't, even though it was common knowledge that they had come from different backgrounds. Asche always seemed mature and caring, and Tear's childish pranks and bouts of selfishness were a sharp contrast. The two of them were constantly in trouble because of something that Tear had done and usually got off with little more than a warning because of Asche's quick thinking.
One night while the two of them lay in their beds, Tear listened to a story that Asche told her of the Executors that had saved her and how she wanted to join them someday. Without thinking twice, Tear made a declaration. "Then, I'll join them too." She rolled over, holding a hand out towards her adopted sister to bridge the gap between their beds. "It's a promise."
So during the day, they went about their chores, and at night, they would study to join the Executors. Asche would start as soon as she got back to the room, and Tear would join her as soon as choir practice was over. The two of them often sat up late into the night, and together, they learned more than anyone at their age should ever know about the darker side of the world.
When the chance finally came, Tear and Asche were able to impress the Executors and were asked to join. Asche, and by extension Tear, had gained her dream. It was hardly glamorous, and was taxing and difficult. But Asche never shied away from hard work. No, she lived for it. She lived for the thought that she would slay protect the innocent from monsters so as to prevent tragedies like what happened to her. But there was something else, something much deeper. She'd hidden it down, far below where neither Sister Andrea nor Tear would ever find it.
Revenge.
Yes, she'd kill that vampire. She'd find and kill it to avenge her village, her parents, the life she would never gain back. That's why she'd been placed in that abbey. That was why she'd met Tear. All of this was ordained so that she could be put in the place to end the life of that vampire once and for all.
Her chance came one day. Rumors came in about that same vampire resurfacing in the Baltic area. Without orders from the Church, she hunted down that vampire. Despite having killed several Executors before, this dreaded vampire was slain by her hand alone. As its body faded to dust before her eyes, a creeping cold entered her soul. No, it wasn't that she'd killed. She'd done that before, to demons and ghouls and lesser vampires alike. It was that her goal of these many years had been accomplished, and she couldn't see past it. What was left for her now? There was a hollowness that suddenly seemed too vast to fill, but -
The Burial Agency. Yes, they'd heard about her exploit, defying the Church and slaying this Dead Apostle alone. She was the type of person they were looking for. Yes, this must be the next step. Asche hesitated for a moment. The life she had before... her time with Tear, small as it may have been, was the closest thing she had to normalcy, but..
She accepted. "I'm sorry, Tear, but this is the right step. I need to hold true it. There's no other way."
Angel Rank: None Path: Restoration Reason: To return the World to its former state. Origin: Obedience Weapons: Black Keys White Key - a white rosary she wears beneath her beneath her shirt. When released, it takes the form of a sword similar to a Black Key but with a white handle. Unlike Black Keys, its use is solely for close combat. It is blessed with an aura that resists spells and curses. List of Sacraments: Baptism Sacrament The sole mystery that is freely taught to all members of the Church. A simple ritual with an aria that falls on the Ten-Count category, it is capable of exorcising Demons and sending Wraiths back to the world of the dead. Matrimory Sacrament: A powerful incantation that is normally used in all churches during marriage to enforce the targets union. This mystery is normaly done by a third party who dictates rules that the targets have to obey either they accept it or not. The targets will be compelled to obey the rules set to them, they can disobey them if they truly wish to, however a feeling of guilt will fill their hearts as a punishment and only through Confession or following the rule they disobeyed can this guilt disappear. This incantation requires at the very least two targets of the opposite sex although there is nothing stopping the caster from using themselves as one of the targets. A magic circle will appear around the caster and target, ensuring that neither can be harmed while the terms are carried out. Penance Sacrament A binding incantation normally used during the right of confession to ensure that an accurate account is given. The target will be forced to the ground under the weight of an invisible cross, and will be unable to rise from beneath it until they have truthfully answered three questions issued by the caster. A magic circle will appear around the caster and target, ensuring that neither can be harmed while the terms are carried out. Sacrifice: A curse of sorts that torments the target with "sacrifice". In practice it causes the target to slowly grow ill and only way to remove the curse is perform a sacrifice of sorts that that caster deems enough. It is a punishing sacrament and its powers grows stronger the less one's devoted to Christianity. A magic circle will appear around the caster and target, ensuring that neither can be harmed while the terms are carried out.
Jester Calture - Spoiler:
Name: Jester Calture
Age: 26
Appearance: link is broken
Personality: Jester is all about life. He takes its ups and downs in stride, maintaing that no matter what happens, if you can live you can still enjoy life. He's a fast-talker and loves to tease, and is always one for the dramatic.
Status: Magus
Position: Circus performer on the run from the Association
History: Born to a relatively new and uknown magus family under a rather different name, Jester spent much time with his mother at a young age, learning to appreciate life and have fun, playing endless games in the sun and laughing without a care. When he become old enough, however, those days ended. He was forced to stay in, practicing magic to continue on their magus legacy. His father, feeling shunned and worthless in the Association, determined that his lineage would become renowned magi through hard work and determination. While Jester found magecraft fascinating, he hated the life of a magus, and longed to escape from it. The day after he received his crest in a painful and unskilled transference, he decided he couldn't handle it anymore. Leaving a note tearfully for his mother, he escaped from home, heading out into the country. Eventually he stumbled across a circus and found it reawakened something in him. Seeing the entertaintment, the joy on people's faces, the life that it brought made him excited. He determined not to use his magecraft for his own gain, but for the enjoyment of others. His natural skills allowed him to gain fame as a fire tamer, skillfully using spells to enchant the crowd under the alias Jester Calture. But this attracted the attention of the Assocation's Enforcers, and he was forced onto the road again. This didn't bother him so much. He continued touring Europe, moving every so often to keep the trail cold for the Enforcers. Although life wasn't easy, and he wished he could see his mother again, he didn't regret his decision. Life was fun, and he would continue to live life and enjoy even the meaningless things.
Angel Rank: none
Path: Path of Restoration
Reason: To return the World to its original state.
Origin: Optimism
Attributes: Fire
Magic Crest: Yes
Mystic Eyes: None
Magecraft: Fire
List of spells:
Firebolt - the fire magus' default spell. Ignites the oxygen in the caster's hand, creating a fireball that can be launched at a target.
Spark - a less powerful version of the Firebolt spell that creates five smaller fireballs at the tips of each finger that can be launched in a spread.
Whip of the Master - ignites a fiery whip in the caster's hand. It is possible to double cast this spell to ignite a whip in each hand.
Roar of the beast, Tamed by scorching flames.
Lord Fortune - released a circular ring of fire around the target that can be used in a controlled burst both offensively to blast away targets and defensively to deflect incoming attacks.
Lady in the mirror, Reflecting her grace upon me, And changing my fate.
Heliocamp - Jester's trump spell, and one designed by him. Creates a flaming horse that charges at the target and explodes on contact. Because of the enormous amount of mana put into the spell to shape the path the oxygen ignites through the air into the shape of a horse (rather than something simple like a fireball), he does not use it often, despite it being his favorite spell.
Echos of a stampede, Rolling like thunder. Rising like the tide, Pulling you under. What a terrible dream, A rider on a nightmare.
Finale - named by gesture because often used it as the finale to his shows. When the caster snaps his fingers, it ignites oxygen in the air, creating a burst of flames like a brilliant firework.
End of the show, End of the line, End it with a bang.
